This was a replacement pair for my old ones that had done me a good 10 years' service before the left zipper slide broke. I am 5' 2 '' and really appreciate Marmot making full- zip pants in `` short. '' Because I live in an arid region, I use these mostly in winter for backcountry ski touring, layered over a pair of thermal bottoms. Aside from my unfortunate experience with the previous zipper slide, I do like the robustness of the zipper teeth. I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

Really nice rain pants. Pack down fairly small with a carabiner clip to hold ‘ em on your bag. Honestly I didn ’ t notice much of a difference between their weight and my previous REI pants weight. They do seem to be a little bit larger than the size that is advertised. I ’ ve seen other peoples reviews and they mention the same thing, so though you may be fine with your normal size, I would try a size down. Overall, it ’s a great quality product that should keep you dry from rain.

I 've had this for two winters now and it's a great insulating layer. I prefer fleece when active for the breathability. This one is thick enough as an outer when there's no wind. Excellent design, with two chest pockets and a kangaroo/hand warmer pocket. Since it's a pullover, field repair is much simpler than a jacket, since it's usually the zipper. But with this pullover being so well built, probably wo n't be needed until you 've had it a while or put it to very hard use.

If you are a former military member and are familiar with the standard issued waffles we were issued for out winter gear then this might feel familiar to you. It feels lighter weight and more breathable while maintaining its insulation properties. And neat fun fact it ’s also 100% recycled. I ’ m a man of many shapes and sizes and the jacket really hides the fact that I was a military man. The thumb holes are subtle enough to be missed but once found it makes the jacket feel like one long fingerless glove. If I had kids I pass this to them. For now, this is mine.

I got these pants in the spring for field work( I work in environment). I ended up wearing them all summer and was impressed how well they handled bushwacking in thick forest and shrubs without getting shredded. The big pockets are very useful to keep your things within reach at all time. In the fall I went for a 5- day backpacking trip and I was absolutely impressed by their versatility. We had some hot days, and the vents allowed me to stay comfortable. We had a night of pouring rain and the next day everybody got their pants soaked by the wet vegetation. The G- 1000 fabric was just water repellant enough to keep me dry. Finally we went over a snowy mountain pass, and the hooks allowed me to tie the pants to my laces and keep the snow from getting into my boots. Overall the only thing these pants could n't handle was the darn chipmunk that chewed a hole through the pocket one night to get at the couple peanuts that were left in there!

The Keb trouser is my favorite Fjallraven pant. I sometimes call it a technical sweat pant. It is THAT comfortable. These are my go- to pants for colder mountain biking temperatures and spring skiing. The botton system at the ankle makes for a good jogger style fit. Or you can loosen it up to fit over a bigger boot. Despite the two zipper vents I find that these trousers start to feel a bit too toasty for temps 65 degrees farenheit and warmer. Check out the abisko lite trekking trouser for a comparable style made with a lighter weight fabric.

I ’ m hard on gear, especially clothing when in the mountains. After loving my first pair of Kebs, I bought a second and they ’ re quickly replacing most of my softshell- style mountain pants. The side zips are great for venting the legs on sunny days on the glacier. I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it. Some of the others I tried were a bit stiff and `` papery '' feeling. I highly recommend these.

It took me a while to spend this kind of money on a pair of pants. Never have I done so, until hiking through mesquite brush, briar, and cacti became a daily ritual as part of my job. Where I am from, the temperatures are scorching during the summer, hitting heat index values of 108. I was skeptical about the G- 1000 being too hot for such weather but the Keb trousers have proven me wrong. I am very impressed with these pants. The lightweight fabric is perfect for keeping me cool and the G- 1000 protects me through the dense vegetation I usually go through. The ventilation zippers at the thighs and calves are amazing additions to help dump that excess heat. The range of motion is incredible in these pants, I am never restricted no matter how I move. [ Love this shirt- material and fit. While I normally wear an XL for Fjallraven( 43 Chest), a L fits me for this one. I am a trail builder and find this shirt too warm above 75 degrees with routine exertion. Cost is high for me, but I think it will serve me well.

My first impression was how comfortable and flexible they are with deep pockets, too. The G- 1000 panels add a layer of protection and durability, also making them great for field work- cutting and hauling wood and getting off trail through brush and brambles. They are my go- to outdoor pants that I never knew I needed until I had them.

Could finally buy these with the updated fit! Previously I had n't liked how tight the leg was with no room in hips/butt area. Tried them on in my regular size& they fit BOTH my waist and thighs well. I 'm 5'11, muscular, normally wear 30w pants, purchased a sz 10/euro 42. I 'm happy to have these for the winter, I commute by bike in the northeast and these have been a great durable option. 32 '' inseam keeps ankles covered!

I bought the Keb Trousers Curved W pants about a month ago, and I 'm very happy with this purchase. And the venting options made them comfortable in Various temperatures. I am thinking about getting another pair. Nice stretch and fit and great quality! Kindly request that they be made in lighter colors. I live in a high tick area and it's important to remove as many ticks as possible before they make it to the skin and its MUCH easier on light colored fabric.

One other reviewer mentioned this, but wanted to reiterate how much more fitted these are than previous version. I am 5 ’ 10 125lbs and have the old version in size 29 and was thinking of going a size smaller because they were pretty baggy. I ’ m glad I did not and stuck with 29, I consider them a good fit.

Very comfy, great fit and generous pockets. I can fit all my essentials; phone, keys, wallet, lip balm, handkerchief, sunglasses. Only wish the flaps had a secure closure. The flaps are heavy enough that things don ’ t fall out and the third pocket zips shut. Still a win.

Finally shorts I can wear! I ’ m in my 50s and petite( 5 ’ 3 ” and 125- ish) with an athletic build, so I have thighs and a butt. These shorts in a medium fit comfortably without being tight or baggy, and don ’ t ride up! Amazing! I needed a jacket that would perform in a variety of extreme environments when going inside was not an option. This jacket filled this role perfectly and has kept me dry while exploring the north Maine Woods more recently while hiking through the cloud rain forest in Costa Rica. On a cool rainy day, you can keep warm with all the vents closed and a puffy underneath. While in warmer humid weather, just open the massive vents on the sides and keep dry while still being able to `` breath '' and stop sweat from soaking you from the inside out. It is very weight efficient, easily packed, and well cut for the active user. The chest pocket is also a favorite feature of mine to safely store a cell phone while on the move yet keeping it easily accessible.

The new 3L Fabric is a huge improvement over the older Foray, it's robust, has just enough stretch, and overall is impressive. I was somewhat hesitant as they moved away from Gore but seeing it in person I am 100 percent a fan and it's better in every way. The only improvement, and OR please make this happen, is the branding. Make a Blacked out version without the contrasting logos, that would put this jacket as the best among the best.

Finally... A jacket that does what it says its going to do- so happy I purchased this. Excellent rain protection I experienced over 2 hours in medium rain on walk. No wet out, no leakage- water just ran off and kept me dry the whole time. Highly recommend this jacket for sure!

I wear this jacket for everything- hiking, around town, commuting. The zip system is amazing in terms of letting me vent as much as I need on wet but hot/humid days, as well as drape the jacket over a medium sized backpack when commuting to keep it dry
