These pants are good quality and very comfortable. They are definitely baggy and run a bit big. I went with my usual size S and definitely could have sized down to XS for a more fitted look, but I do really like these and am happy with my purchase. I think I 'll be getting more.

These pants feel like quality. They are 98% pre- washed organic cotton and feel great, soft, not stiff. They are a little narrow, so you might want to size up. The pockets are ample and there are draw strings at the ankle to prevent creepy crawlies from crawling up your pant legs. The length is good if you are on the shorter side. If you are over 5' 5 '' they may be short.

I wore these pants to hike a local trail and although they were comfortable, they were a little short for my liking. I 'm 5' 8 '' and they came to the top of my ankle hiking boots. The color was great for tick checking which is a must!!

I have been using these Columbia pants for several years. They hold up extremely well, are light weight, dry quickly and protect me from wind and sun. They are my go to for general hiking and outdoor play but I still wear them around town. I have worn them climbing Mt Rainier and hunted in all kinds of conditions. I highly recommend these pants.

[ The jacket was exactly what I was looking for. It's warm enough for those chilly mornings, light enough to wear on a Summer day, and just enough to serve as a wind breaker. It's a wonderful jacket. One minor suggestion... although there are two external pockets with zippers, it would be the perfect jacket if there was an internel pocket. Otherwise, i would highly recommend this jacket to someone looking for a lightweight jacket.

I got these online to use as work pants. The elastic waistband and drawstring secured them pretty well. The material is rugged, but not rigid. They seem like they 'll wear decently over time. Turns out this shirt is the most comfortable shirts I have ever had. While it is comfortable I. Warmer weather I found this shirt to be warm and cozy when when worn underneath a light jacket.

I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

I ordered the small size and the fit/cut is great. Both body and arm length spot on. Elasticized wrists help keep it in place and get the draft out. Enough room for underlayer and not bulky or puffy. material is n't noisy either. I have enough black in my wardrobe so I got the dark green/olive and it goes with everything. I have never worn a more perfect piece of clothing. I never imagined wearing long sleeves in hot weather while hiking. Hypothyroidism causes me to sweat profusely and embarrassement. After researching sun hoodies, I found the Crater Lake hoody. It was on sale, I bought it, wore it while hiking, it changed my experience... so I ordered two more!! Backpacked in Kentucky recently and the hoodies were a win for me. The material is thin and light, breathable. Feels great against my skin, wicks away the moisture so felt like I was n't even sweating. Sweat splotches were not noticeable at all. Will definitley explore other products. Thank you for a product that delivers.

I purchased this used a few years ago and it has become a staple for hiking, camping, travel, and festivals. After the first year I cut the drawstring and tied it in a knot, much better and more practical. The light blue color stains easy. Sometimes this shirt stinks to high heaven after short use, other times I can wear it for days without stank. Washes easy and dries quickly. UPF continues to work after many years of regular use and washing, it provides protection from the sun and mild wind. It's so soft against bare skin and comfortable to sleep in. I use as a base layer, except when I use to layer over tank top when it's hot, or wool hoodie when it's cold. The pocket and zipper is great. No complaints.

The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I 've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I would n't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.
5
Reski
I LOVE these pants. I bought a pair 6 months ago and am buying more in case OR ever gets rid of them. I 've tried the OG ferrosi climbing pants& the ferrosi leggings, but these are my favorite. I climb in them frequently and they hold up on wide cracks and sharp crystals. They look great and are so comfortable. I love that they are slightly cropped& tapered so they stay out of the way when climbing. I 'm 5' 4, 130lbs,& typically a size 4,& the size small fits perfect. I will buy these pants over& over again.
5
Eileen
I own two pairs and highly recommend them. This style goes from day- to- day errands to casual dining to travel to hiking- an excellent multipurpose piece of clothing! I recently took a skid on a downhill abrasive, pebbly hike and thought `` this is end of these pants ''. I was wrong- they were n't at all damaged and the rock dust just brushed off. I would love to see some more colors in muted tones- gray, drab olive green, etc. The khaki color goes with most color tops, but the green is an evergreen color that does n't go with most of my wardrobe, just the black and white tops. I dress in dull colors that do n't show travel wear.

[ When the weather changed for our Portugal trip I needed a rain jacket fast! This jacket exceeded my expectations. It POURED rain on us and i stayed completely dry! The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair. I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I sized up from a XL to a 2XL as I wanted room to layer and wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The deep pockets were perfect for extra travel items! I got a whole water bottle inside one! The most important part is it dried of super fast and was ready for the next day of rain! It is packable and folds down to a super small size! I highly recommend this jacket. If it can keep me dry during a relentless, 7 day, Portugal downpour, it will keep you dry most anywhere! BUY IT!

I was wearing this jacket when I had a horse riding accident. When I tell you I absolutely flew off the horse and slammed into the gravel- this jacket should have ripped immediately. Instead it actually ended up protecting my body from getting any cuts. I threw the jacket in the wash and it came out seamless as if nothing had happened to it. [ I came across this jacket when searching for a synthetic alternative to my down jacket for backpacking. And while it's maybe just a little too heavy and bulky for my ultralight goals, I bought it because I liked it so much in general( tried in on in a store, bought it on Mossejaw). And now I wear it anytime the weather's a little chilly. It's warm, a great fit-- not too tight, not too baggy-- and the material just feels great. I 've also had it out in light rain for half an hour or so, and nothing soaked in. So it really is at least a little water repellent. Only con is, I do n't like the double, left- handed zipper, but I 'll get used to it. And who knows, maybe I 'll end up bringing it on a backpacking trip, since I like it so much. Glad I bought it during the big sale!

[ This is a very nice jacket. My son changed his mind about the weight of the coat he was looking for, but loved the fit and feel of it. This is a lightweight jacket and feels like it would be easy to pack away or tie around your waste if you 're out hiking or just out and about.

I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

Out of winter i prefer hiking in shorts. For this reason I have several pairs from well established brands. The Fjällräven Abisko Lite Shorts are head and shoulders above every pair I own. Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

My issue is n't with the pants which are great, BUT with the sizing chart- I am 6' 3 '' and 36 '' waist and a large size works for me but I have an 34 '' inseam and the chart recommendation is to get a tall size however I think regular would have been much better. [ One of the standout features of these pants is the combination of durable GORE- TEX 3L and lightweight GORE- TEX Active materials. This blend not only ensures exceptional durability but also keeps the pants light, allowing for efficient movement in the mountains. The lightweight construction is particularly advantageous during hikes, as it minimizes fatigue and allows for unrestricted mobility. The complete waterproofing of these pants is another feature that I greatly appreciate. Regardless of the weather conditions, I can confidently rely on the GORE- TEX technology to keep me dry and comfortable. Whether it's a light drizzle or a heavy downpour, these pants provide reliable protection against moisture. It's worth noting that if you plan to wear them over clothing, it's recommended to order a size up for a proper fit. In terms of fit, the elastic waist belt and ankle zippers allow for easy customization. I can adjust the pants to my preferred fit, ensuring optimal comfort throughout my outdoor activities. The zippered pockets are also a convenient addition, providing ample space to stash small gear such as keys, a map, or a phone. Furthermore, the packability of these pants is worth highlighting. They are extremely lightweight and can be easily compressed, making them a fantastic choice for backpacking or traveling. The ability to pack them down into a small size without sacrificing performance is a huge plus. In summary, the Men's GORE- TEX® Mitre Peak Pant is a versatile and reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Their complete waterproofing, lightweight construction, and packability make them perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities. Whether you 're braving wet conditions or looking for comfortable and functional pants, these are an excellent option. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking durable, lightweight, and versatile pants for their adventures.

Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. I 'm 5 ft 3 tall and 158lbs currently. Medium was just right and I can even wear a thin layer underneath for cooler hikes.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I have been looking for a pair of pants like this for ages and this is the perfect pant.

I purchased these because a friend let me borrow his to guide a very rainy hike. I was so impressed, I just needed to order them. It's not often a product works as described, but these do. Waterproof, comfortable, easy to get on and off with boots on. So far, I am happy with the quality. I recommend these for anyone looking for this type of rainwear. Fits true to the sizing chart.
