These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

The vents in both the top and bottom parts of the pant are amazing. the pockets are so usefull the reenforced butt and knees are amazing the only thing i would change is i would make the croutch strechy due to the fact ive busted the open when flipping canoes.

I started out with the Folly Twill pant and they just looked kind of dumpy on me at 5 ’ 5 ” and curvy. These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

They are able to have a polished look with a nice jacket or sweater but are also super comfy with a tee or sweat shirt. I particularly love them for travel- comfortable and neat- looking. I got these pants in anticipation of starting a season of trail work. They held up through an entire season of rock work, which was pretty impressive. The material was relatively breathable for being so durable. I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.

Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.
