I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. I bought this vest around a month ago and have worn it several times. It is a good piece for the price, being much cheaper than a north face, etc. My only complaint is the collar on this vest comes up oddly high, and if you have a beard it will constantly be hitting you in the neck.

This jacket is an addition to the three other various Carhartts that I have hanging in my coat closet. I was needing something on the lighter side this time for doing some e- bike trail riding around metro Detroit and also something to match the camo paint scheme on my fat tire. This jacket's Moss color turned out being about as close to U. S. Army `` mean green '' as you could hope to get and I also really like the high zip neck and velcro adjustable sleeves. The fit was perfect too, as always. Since I have the sincere `` need for speed '', I was also duly impressed with how warm it was against the Spring windchill temps. I paired this jacket up also with some Carhartt fingerless gloves which is another story but the combo has worked out exceedingly well for riding. After all the accolades though, what stands out the most about this brand to me is that it was born in the City of Detroit for the tough, honest, hardworking man and wearing it, to quote Doc Holiday, kind of reminds me of me.

If it ’s nice and snug, which is good because it ’s not too baggy, and also the water repellent fabric really helps for when you need it. I also love the two way zippers that it has, it makes it a really unique touch to what could normally be just a regular jacket. My favorite part of this jacket honestly has to be the pockets with how roomy they are and how waterproof they are. If there ’s anything I could change though, it would just be to make it a little bit baggier.
