I wasn ’ t aware of the “ Outgrown ” thing and was pleasantly surprised to learn about it as I was checking out the jacket. That seems super useful and since I bought this to be grown- into, the extending cuffs add some extra life to the jacket. It ’s still summer right now, so I can ’ t comment on how toasty it keeps my toddler just yet, but it ’s pretty thick and I ’ m guessing this will be amazing for the next 2- 3 years.

You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. When I received this, the first test was to run water over my sleeve in the sink. The water ran right off. Recently had a scrap with a rose branch and the tough shoulder material was unaffected. The jacket is warm by itself but the added heat makes it my daily jacket now as I go skiing on subzero temperatures. It's warm enough on# 2 setting and so far the batteries have lasted for the 4 hours I was outside with still some life in them. On# 3 you will get heat for just over 2 hours. I wish there was a bit of heat in the arms but the back and front are the most important parts of your body you want to keep warm. Overall I am very satisfied.

My husband bought this for me for birthday because I am always cold. Not anymore! It has quickly become my favorite jacket ever. How did I live without a heated jacket before this?! We bought an extra battery so that we can always have one charged and ready to go.

I absolutely love this coat! I think it's the greatest thing ever, it keeps you warm during those cold winter days. You ca n't feel the wires in the coat which was something I was worried about.

I got this jacket at a great price. I 've had previous experience with Gerbing so I did n't hesitate to buy this jacket. It came with the battery and charger! Heat is in the perfect spots, chest and back. There is no heat in the sleeves, but not really necessary. Fit is true to size. I like the more fitted look, too. Keeps me toasty warm. I 'd buy it again
