This hat is such a pretty upgrade from my previous beige unisex sun hat from an outdoor store. I do n't like having to wear hats but I 'm allergic to the sun now so I have no choice. I have a large head and typically will wear a baseball cap on the beach because hair needs to be back, this hat is amazing!! I wore it first on a windy day and just had to tighten the back and the chin strap and the hat stayed on my head. I love that it covers my ears and the back of my head and neck. I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!

Finally the old hat wore out after so many washings and I started wearing my Sunset Hat, and am still wearing it. I love it! The wire around the brim helps to keep its shape, although I put my hats all to the test-- I wear them hard. But they last!

This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.

Since it doesn ’ t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. [ I was looking for a comfortable, yet cute sun hat. Something with more character than the typical, beige fishing hat. Love love the pink color& subtle embroidery that can be seen when you 're closer up. Perfect amount of stability yet flop to the brim. I have a decent sized head( definitely not on the smaller end) so using the sizing guide helped to choose the medium size. It was accurate sizing. If it's too big, an elastic is available at the back of the head to tighten.
