I have more than one of these now- two for work& one for play. Fits fantastic, easy adjustment tab in the back. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. I run this through rocks, brush, sappy pines. No issues or snags. Breathes well and has some water resistance. One of the best things OR has made.

It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.

Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that ’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better! I love that it has a removable strap. It ’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. With my other hat I would tuck the strap up inside, which was a bit annoying. This is the perfect hat for me, and now that it is reversible I have a little more variety.

I bought this hat specifically to store in my car, because one never knows when you might have to stand out in the sun for an extended period of time. I especially love rhis design by Sunday Afternoons, because it's lightweight, washable and quickly air- dryable( comes out looking like new!), the brim is wide enough to shade most of your face, the chin strap keeps it from blowing off, and while walking through a store I can either `` store '' the hat on my back by lengthening the chin strap adjustment or roll it up and put it in my purse. Love it. Comfortable, breathable, and stylish. Is feminine- looking and offers good coverage without being too dorky.;) I wear hats all day most days, and swap between caps, full brim western hats. This one has quickly displaced many of my other go- to hats! Only complaint is I 'm not a big fan of velcro closures. The velcro does work well, but I 'd always rather a strap with slide buckle for an adjustable hat.

[ I 'm on the edge between a large and x- large. Went XL and it's roomy but still fits great because it cinches down. This hat is cool because it has a brim for sun protection but it's not huge and floppy. Size up for a bit more brim, or down for a more compact brim. It's light, well- made and protects you for those hot Summer days or desert hikes.

I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!

As a paddler and former kayak guide, I have a lot of paddle hats. Several models like this have a brim that goes down too far and makes it hard to see. This one is perfect. The brim is the perfect angle and it fits well. It has a little stretch and covers my entire face and neck without looking too silly. Huge fan.
