This is a great waterproof, wind blocking rain coat. I have already worn it quite a few times. Strong Velcro too. Pros: I ’ m 5 ’ 125- 130 lb. It is not too long on me. Which is a problem when you are short. Sits just below the hips. Velcro on the sleeves cuffs is a plus because the arms are a little long& it keeps the wind out. Ordered a medium& can still wear a light weight sweater under it. Cons: Would be nice if it had a two way zipper for getting in& out of car& an inside pocket.

I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. I wish they did n't use so much velcro on the front tab covering the zipper, but I do like the low profile effect of it, so it's a wash. I am 5' 8 '', 125# and I got the small.

[ I had another Columbia Rain jacket and left if on a plane. I researched many rain jackets for what I wanted and ended up going with Columbia again. [ Im a size 4/6 and 5 foot 2 and the small fits well. The sleeves do have extra room so you could easily wear extra layers under this. I bought this for future travel to England. It is a blend of sporty with some style. It ’s not as fancy or tailored as a traditional trench but the waterproof fabric is much more practical. I would call this more of a stylish rain jacket.

After researching different trench coats I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this one. I have it in the ancient fossil color. It is beautiful in person and it gives both fashionable and functional. I love the buttons on this coat and the bungee inside gives you more of a fitted look. You can easily dress this trench coat up or down. I ’ m planning on wearing this during my Alaska trip to layer on top during those wet rainy days. It seems very well insulated and breathable. I would suggest sizing down from your normal size. It already gives a bit of an oversized fit. I think Colombia is the only one that makes a fleece lined raincoat and I absolutely love it for cold rain. You CAN layer in other rain coats but when you just want a quick trip to take the dogs out in the rain in the cold weather nothing beats a warm rain coat when you don ’ t need a heavy winter coat. I returned it at the store and after trying them on I got a Large in Stone. It is still comfortable with a sweatshirt underneath and the slightly fitted look creates a better silhouette. Was great when I took my child for walks at the parks. Fabric is soft and comfortable and it's well made. [ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

It ’s amazing for gym workouts/running AND I ’ ve worn it over scrubs to work for a fashionable twist. The fabric isn ’ t perfect for me, as movements can be a bit loud( think noisy rain jacket) when I ’ m trying to examine a sleeping patient or steal a cookie from the nurse ’s station, but that also makes me think it ’ ll be pretty water resistant. I enjoy this jacket a lot. It's been raining a lot in my city and I am happy that this prevents any water from getting to my inside layers and also blocks the wind. I normally get a size M for comfort and I like baggier fits. I am 5' 5 '' and usually a 28 '' waist. I think the M fits well around the waist but the location of the pockets feels a bit low for me. Maybe a small size would have been more flattering. Overall, I am happy with it!

[ So I just want to start out by saying that it ’s way too warm for me to wear this out and about right now, but it will definitely be a staple once the weather cools down. It ’s such a lightweight jacket with snap enclosures where the pockets are which is a nice little throwback feature that you don ’ t see often in jackets. I got a medium and I love that it ’s a little oversized, but not too large so as to where you ’ re drowning. I love that the outside of the jacket gives windbreaker material, but the inside doesn ’ t meaning you won ’ t sweat at all in it like a typical windbreaker. I personally love this jacket and can ’ t wait for it to cool down so I can wear it somewhere other than inside my house.

[ The canopy jacket is a perfect spring layer. Right out of the box, I really liked the feel of the jacket and it looked flattering when I put it on. I am typically a small and even though I am in my 3rd trimester, I was surprised to find that the jacket still fit due to elasticity in the material. It will be perfect when I get back to my typical size. The two zipping pockets are great to keep my keys secure on a run and big enough for a phone if I am wearing it more casually. The material also did a great job keeping me dry in a slight rain. I do n't believe the jacket is completely water- proof, but it is certainly water resistant, which I would n't have expected with how soft and non- plasticy the material feels. The trade off with jackets that keep water out is that they are not the most breathable, but the canopy jacket seems to have found a nice balance between the two. The vent in the back helped to let some of my body heat escape so that I did n't feel like I was trapped with heat and sweat. Overall, this is a piece that I will come back to often.

I am absolutely in LOVE with the color and warmth of this jacket! Just finished a Utah 10K wearing it, the weather started at 35 degrees with partial Sun and wind, and ended at 41 degrees. You also have the option to convert it to a jacket, vest, t- shirt, and tank top style. This comes in handy when running in variety of conditions like I do. Converting it to the different styles is a bit challenging at first but after you get the hang of it, you can do it quickly. You also have the option of the hood if need be. I ’ ve run in misty, windy, hot, and cool weather. I can honestly say that this handles any condition. It repels rain, blocks wind and works well in warm or cool conditions. Having only this jacket to tackle all these conditions is very nice. Overall, this is a well designed runners jacket. It ’s well made and engineered with the runner in mind. I ’ ve very happy with it and have also received many compliments on it. I ’ d highly recommend to others looking for a versatile jacket that will last a while.

[ This jacket does run slightly small in my opinion. I personally like my running clothes snug so I felt a medium, which is my usual size, was a good fit for me. If you prefer your clothes on the loose end I would size up. While I haven ’ t needed to convert this jacket to a vest yet, it is super easy to do and am looking forward to using this feature. So far I ’ ve only ran a few early mornings as the sun is rising in this jacket but I am truly amazed with the reflected material that spans across it. It gives me peace of mind in terms of my safety while running. It ’s perfect for early mornings or evenings because the jacket is extremely lightweight but keeps the breeze and rain away. I was most impressed with how breathable this jacket is. I am a big fan of the way this jacket looks. Clean lines, nice color blocked style, very chic with minimal effort. Just because you are running or training doesn ’ t mean you have to look frumpy!

[ This convertible jacket is so cool! It only took me less than a minute to figure how to convert it to a vest and back, which was the only thing I was worried about. This could easily be done while jogging or at a short break, then back to a jacket in a snap. The visibility on this jacket is top notch. Highly reflective and easily seen is one of my major concerns while the fall is here and daylight runs out quickly. Living in the Midwest, we ’ ve got a moments notice before the wind comes( and leaves) and it was handy to be able to have this jacket on me. So light on my back, then keeps me warm as a jacket.

[ As the weather is getting colder, I 'm excited to have this Run Visible Convertible Jacket. I was a bit frustrated when I got hot. I tied it around my waist. This was before I saw it converted into a vest. HA HA! As a runner having options for arm protection is crucial. If you dress too cold, you 're miserable. If your dress too hot, you wear out and waste energy. This jacket eliminates this problem. It's great for unpredictable weather and my evening runs in the fall when it gets dark early. The pockets are a bit small and difficult to open. An arm pocket would be ideal. I like the ability to hide the hood. I ca n't stand a bouncing hood while running/ stretching. The vest is great when I 've warmed up and need to cool off. I also used the vest inside the jacket as a pocket for my water bladder. I know it's not what it was made for but it works great! I wish it was a tad longer. When I stretch, the small size rises a bit high where the wind hits my stomach. I really enjoy the material and colors. I have a 50k next week and I plan to use my Run Visible Convertible Jacket in the early morning miles!

Love how they have you put in your height and weight for the right size. When I first opened it the jacket was so light I thought there was no way it would keep me warm but I was wrong. The Omni heat for me is a 10 out of 10. Now they need some more glove options with Omni heat.

[ I despise coats! However this coat is worth the money! I worried about the length, but its long enough to stay down and not ride up, but not too long it gets in the way. I bought a size bigger than usual because I have to layer and wear hoodies under my coats and its perfect. The best part, its not to thick, but due to the Omni- Heat you stay toasty warm. Very satisfied with this purchase!

I have been on the hunt for a longer raincoat that covers my rear. I have a `` regular '' length Columbia raincoat that I love. This one is great and will be in heavy rotation. I got the Greenscape color. I am 5' 5 '' and wear a women's 16. I got an XXL to be able to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. It is generously sized. I might have been able to go XL. I knocked a star off for 2 things that others have raised here. The hood is pretty much useless as it either falls in your eyes or flops backwards. Point 2 is that in my other Columbia rain jacket you can tighten the cuffs with a strap to stop water or wind from blowing up your sleeve. The Weekend Adventure has one snap that tightens the cuff by about an inch. That is not going to keep water or wind out.
