This is a great waterproof, wind blocking rain coat. I have already worn it quite a few times. Strong Velcro too. Pros: I ’ m 5 ’ 125- 130 lb. It is not too long on me. Which is a problem when you are short. Sits just below the hips. Velcro on the sleeves cuffs is a plus because the arms are a little long& it keeps the wind out. Ordered a medium& can still wear a light weight sweater under it. Cons: Would be nice if it had a two way zipper for getting in& out of car& an inside pocket.

I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. [ Im a size 4/6 and 5 foot 2 and the small fits well. The sleeves do have extra room so you could easily wear extra layers under this. I bought this for future travel to England. It is a blend of sporty with some style. It ’s not as fancy or tailored as a traditional trench but the waterproof fabric is much more practical. I would call this more of a stylish rain jacket.

After researching different trench coats I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this one. I have it in the ancient fossil color. It is beautiful in person and it gives both fashionable and functional. I love the buttons on this coat and the bungee inside gives you more of a fitted look. You can easily dress this trench coat up or down. I ’ m planning on wearing this during my Alaska trip to layer on top during those wet rainy days. It seems very well insulated and breathable. I would suggest sizing down from your normal size. It already gives a bit of an oversized fit. I originally purchased the large which is my normal size but I found the arms way too big so I purchased the medium size.

I think Colombia is the only one that makes a fleece lined raincoat and I absolutely love it for cold rain. You CAN layer in other rain coats but when you just want a quick trip to take the dogs out in the rain in the cold weather nothing beats a warm rain coat when you don ’ t need a heavy winter coat. I returned it at the store and after trying them on I got a Large in Stone. It is still comfortable with a sweatshirt underneath and the slightly fitted look creates a better silhouette. The stone is really pretty and a nice departure from typical black. It kept me warm in 37 degree weather yesterday. Was great when I took my child for walks at the parks. Fabric is soft and comfortable and it's well made. [ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

We had a mild cold front of mid 60s in the morning and rain in Texas, this jacket came in handy. It kept me warm and blocked the strong winds throughout the day. I normally get a size M for comfort and I like baggier fits. I am 5' 5 '' and usually a 28 '' waist. I think the M fits well around the waist but the location of the pockets feels a bit low for me. i use the Helium Rain Jacket in addition to a 700 fill goosedown esp. when i ride out into wilderness. while it will not protect against sheer downpours, it will if you 're under a tree! plus, in conjunction with the puffer i stay super warm and dry while packing small and light. imperative on a horse!

I got the Greenscape color. I am 5' 5 '' and wear a women's 16. I got an XXL to be able to wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. It is generously sized. I might have been able to go XL. I knocked a star off for 2 things that others have raised here. The hood is pretty much useless as it either falls in your eyes or flops backwards. Point 2 is that in my other Columbia rain jacket you can tighten the cuffs with a strap to stop water or wind from blowing up your sleeve. The Weekend Adventure has one snap that tightens the cuff by about an inch. That is not going to keep water or wind out.

I live in New England, and I 'm traveling to `` old '' England later this year. Between our record rainfall back home and variable conditions across the pond, I needed a good raincoat. Cue* hours* of research, which landed me here. So far I 've worn this coat out in several storms for 10- 20min at a time( walking the dog) and after a quick shake off in the mudroom, it's completely dry. And so am I! Plus it's quiet, blocks wind, and the material has a nice matte finish. The colors are lovely, classy green shades that go with everything. Got a medium and there's room to layer a fairly bulky coat or sweatshirt underneath but it's not huge if I 'm just in a t- shirt. I 'm 5' 6 '', athletic 150lbs, 37- 27- 38. I 'm literally excited to camp and hike in the rain this summer now that I 'll have this coat to protect me. Now I just want OR to make a matching one for the dog.

In the past, I ’ ve had the option of my rain jacket ruining my outfit, or opting for no rain jacket, but having the rain ruin my outfit…. NOW neither are a problem, as this jacket actually makes my outfits even cuter!! Fits comfortably true to size, but size up if you want it to be longer. For reference, I am 5 ’ 3, and the medium fits cutely oversized, and even the large works. The XS definitely fits, but was a little short for my liking.

[ I have enjoyed using my running jacket and have worn it more often than I originally thought I would. With it being warmer this time of year I wasn ’ t sure how much use I would get but cooler rainy days have been perfect for it! I love that it ’s lightweight and easy to pack or bring along with me. The fabric is breathable and comfortable without feeling hot and sticky. I wasn ’ t sure how it would be without a liner but it has been comfortable. I can see myself continuing to use it in similar conditions, cooler weather with light rain, early fall and spring as the seasons change. The color is a little brighter than I typically choose but it is fun! It is a good staple to have in my closet.
