I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I 'm 5' 8 and wear a large in most brands. I bought these in large and they fit great. I could probably wear a medium for a shorter, less baggy fit but I like that they are a bit baggy and longer. I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. They are so lightweight and soft. They 're great for travel too, worked well for a long day at the airport. Be aware that you will make some noise in these, that swish swish sound. [ Hiking in my neighboring Rocky Mountains means lots of interactions with scratchy, rippy surfaces. These Nikka Curved provide terrific reinforcement in the right areas. The tough fabric is surrounded by breathable stretchy fabric. These pants ARE on the warm side, though; I 'd consider them three- seasoners( a bit much for hot days).

I ’ m 5 ’ 7 ”, 125lbs, with a 32 ” inseam. And I ’ m a weight lifter, so it ’s incredibly difficult to find hiking pants that fit in the glutes. These pants fit perfectly. They are long enough, they have sufficient glute room, they actually stay in place when I ’ m moving and don ’ t ride up/shift around. And, they ’ re flattering! And they have pockets such that my phone can fit without impinging my movement, or pulling down the pants. So glad I found these.

The pockets are very useful, eg on a citytrip. The trousers are a pleasure to wear and they look great. I love to wear them in the city and on nature hikes. [ These are literally the only non- wide leg outdoor pants that have ever fit my thighs and hips without falling down or gaping at the waist. I love them so much. They are so durable. I love that the fabric is weather resistant, quick drying, and ventilated. I love Fjällräven ’s warranty. They aren ’ t quite as high rise on the back as I would like, but otherwise these are amazing and comfortable and I would happily grab a drink or dinner in the( admittedly very casual) PNW urban area after. These are not my first pair and will not be my last, but that ’s because I love them so much. The first ones from a few years ago are still holding up despite multiple slides on scree, grazes with my crampons, and other issues that lesser pants could never dream to be able to handle. They are long, but the edges are raw so you can hem them yourself. I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and so sometimes I get that pregnant- looking belly, and then they do feel tight, but that ’s true of almost everything. Normal bloating doesn ’ t make them uncomfortable. For me, I would say they run larger than almost all trousers but smaller than the Fjällräven Abisko trekking and trail tights.

[ This is my second pair of these. I have not yet had a chance to wear them because the weather has been nice. But what I love about them is that the fully separating zippers allow me to don and doff them without the need to tak my boots off and on. Even more importantly you make them in a short length( I am only 5' 1 '') and that is the ONLY way this concept works. You can not reasonably shorten rainpaints with a separating zipper-- you have to start out with the correct length and not many companies cater to this need.

[ I wanted to get another pair of the “ Holly Pants ”, which I love and have had for many years, however Marmot has discontinued them. The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. I like the pants but I ’ d prefer a light soft lining which the Holly pants have and a softer outside material which probably is less water resistant. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I 've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I would n't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

I LOVE these pants. I bought a pair 6 months ago and am buying more in case OR ever gets rid of them. I 've tried the OG ferrosi climbing pants& the ferrosi leggings, but these are my favorite. I climb in them frequently and they hold up on wide cracks and sharp crystals. They look great and are so comfortable. I own two pairs and highly recommend them. This style goes from day- to- day errands to casual dining to travel to hiking- an excellent multipurpose piece of clothing! I recently took a skid on a downhill abrasive, pebbly hike and thought `` this is end of these pants ''. I was wrong- they were n't at all damaged and the rock dust just brushed off. I would love to see some more colors in muted tones- gray, drab olive green, etc. The khaki color goes with most color tops, but the green is an evergreen color that does n't go with most of my wardrobe, just the black and white tops. I dress in dull colors that do n't show travel wear.

I loved the fit right off the hop so I bought two pairs. I 've been rocking these for 8 months now and they show no signs of wear. Solid construction that you can trust in the bush. Bear spray fits perfectly in the front thigh pocket. I bought size 38. I am 5' 5 '', fluctuate between 134- 137lb. 28- 29 '' waist, 38 '' hips. I wanted to love the keb trousers but I couldn ’ t get over a few flaws. The thicker material is not ideal for summer conditions and the reinforced butt gave me a uni- butt. I recently bought the keb agile trousers and they are perfect. The pants are thinner, still durable, and have quite a bit of stretch! Overall I think these new trousers are the perfect edition to my hiking wardrobe.

This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. I love the high waist, the side pockets and that I can move so freely, including very high steps:) They are flattering, comfy and stay cool. I would size down if between sizes as the fit is loose. I would love to see some additional fun colors- teal, green etc.

Buy these, particularly if you 're a curvy outdoor gal! I bought two pairs a couple months ago and am now living in them, as the weather warms. Fabric is a little thin, but that's great for the warm, humid south. Biggest perk is that they work great on an active, but curvy figure. I ca n't do some of the other styles that are cut slim in the butt/thigh/hip area, but these look great and are super comfy.( For ref b/c it helps me, I 'm 5' 4 '', curvy, and wear medium Dynama products). I really hope MHW keeps making this style and adds colors, b/c it's now my fav of the Dynama line!

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

My issue is n't with the pants which are great, BUT with the sizing chart- I am 6' 3 '' and 36 '' waist and a large size works for me but I have an 34 '' inseam and the chart recommendation is to get a tall size however I think regular would have been much better. The pant legs bunch up at the bottom when I have mid waterproof hiking shoes on. The OR pro deal is great but unfortunately they do n't allow exchanges or returns. I would liked to have swapped this pair for a large regular.

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.

Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. I 'm 5 ft 3 tall and 158lbs currently. Medium was just right and I can even wear a thin layer underneath for cooler hikes.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

I do already have some other items of Fjallraven gear. These are now my ‘ go to trousers ’ when the weather is warmer here in England. I have had these about 6 week and initially they felt too hard wearing to be cool in warm weather, in a sense that they could be too warm……. they ARE hard wearing, but great in warmer weather and so I needn ’ t have worried( they were ideal in the warmer weather of Madeira)..!! The stretch in them is brilliant, either when hiking or for general use. I am a men ’s UK size 30 ”- 32 ” and went for the 30 ”. A touch ‘ snug ’ but how I ’ d personally prefer them. The fit is very comfortable I ’ m wearing biking shorts under them in the picture. They are super lightweight, durable, breathable, abrasion resistant, stretchy, quick drying, zipper hand pocket for security, legs zip off to 8 ” short, and adjustable hem. The legs zips off super easy and they are a good length I ’ m 5 ’ 2 ” to give you an idea of where they hit. I would absolutely take these with me on any hike and especially overnight hikes cause they are so universal. Put long johns under them and stay warm. These are worth every penny.

After wearing nylon cargo pants for the last 20 years, I have switched to these. They are very comfortable and the fabric is great. I did have to have a tailor shorten them in length. I also had the zippered pockets reduced in depth to eliminate heavy stuff like a cell phone banging on my knee. I wish they came in khaki!! Note that they run very large. I normally take a 39 '' waist but had to order a 37 '' waist and it is loose. I bought them for travel but now they are my everyday pants.
