The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.

If you are a former military member and are familiar with the standard issued waffles we were issued for out winter gear then this might feel familiar to you. It feels lighter weight and more breathable while maintaining its insulation properties. And neat fun fact it ’s also 100% recycled. I ’ m a man of many shapes and sizes and the jacket really hides the fact that I was a military man. The thumb holes are subtle enough to be missed but once found it makes the jacket feel like one long fingerless glove. If I had kids I pass this to them. For now, this is mine.

When asked what he likes most about them he pointed out that they are incredibly stretchy and flexible but have a nice sturdy feel to them. Wear these shorts all summer long and never be disappointed. Stretch material is so comfortable you barely notice these are even on. I roll these up and bring them in pack every trip, they 're great for when I get to camp and start to chill, they work as swim shorts and dry quick, they work if it's really a hot day and the trail is n't too rugged. Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. This past weekend I assisted in the rescue 7 people who were capsized in a pontoon boat. I dove into the water with phone and all in the pocket of this jacket. After the scary event ended I took my phone out of my pocket and was shocked to still see the phone screen activated! The phone still needed about 7 hours to completely dry out and let me charge it but it ’s completely fine now. Obviously this jacket isn ’ t meant to be submerged but the saving the phone of it all felt worth mentioning. I previously bought OR's Methow legging and loved them too, but these pants are even better. They are nice and stretchy, just like the Ferossi pants, but with fleece lining to keep you warm when cold weather hiking. I love the fit-- they have a slightly high waist, which was not obvious to me from the pictures, and I like that so much better than the low rise I find on most hiking pants. Another reviewer complained about the fit, but for me, a more curvy gal, the fit was perfect. I also love the side pockets, including one zippered one. They stretch a bit when wearing them so if you are between sizes, considered the lower size. I will definitely be ordering another pair and wearing these throughout the winter.

Was looking for some lounging shorts- and these are near perfect. I have not been able to find that mesh pocket on the center back... nor did my pair have the Nut logo on the right rear thigh. These are n't deal breakers to me, but descriptive accuracy is lacking.

I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.

I 'm not sure I would wear them on a really long run but did 90min run in them and they were great. Will use them for camping/ hiking/ swim combo this summer for sure. Absolutely killer jacket. Bought it to use for teaching a backpacking class in the late fall in high mountains of Idaho where it can get pretty cold pretty quick. Used it in- 10f weather with a baselayer underneath and shell on top and stayed toasty the whole time. Provides an honestly impressive amount of wind resistance even on the seams. A lot of people claim durability issues but I 've used it climbing, backpacking, and bikepacking for about two years now and it's done amazingly. Well done Mountain Hardwear!

I chose the Dark Zinc color because I think the other colors show the down fill, and do not look as good to me. This jacket has 1000 fill power down, which makes the jacket warm for its weight. Pricey? Yes! Worth it? Definitely! The only real can I can find is the fit. The cuffs need to be much tighter. So n cold gets in.

[ I just received this jacket and it is amazing- very lightweight, warm, and cool looking. Question: What more could I want???? Answer: Cool weather and some hiking trails for a `` test drive ''. Although the price tag was scary high, it seems well made and will really pack well. It is a keeper. I am not sure about `` durability '' yet, but it seems to be well crafted.

I bought this specifically for big wall climbing and it was perfect for doing El Cap in a day( first trial run with the jacket!). It's light and packable, taking up minimal space in my day pack and was super easy to take on and off throughout the day between belaying and climbing. Pretty warm with a sizable hood. Pockets are roomy enough for an iPhone. I do wish it had a draw cord and packed into the pocket with a reversible tab for a carabiner( you can still pack it in the pocket, you just have to awkwardly clip to the zipper). One downside to the lightweight fabric is it's extremely fragile — I tore several small holes in the arms while mantling onto a granite boulder at the end of the day( the other down jackets I 've worn never had this problem, but they were much thicker). I also notice the feathers like to poke out of the fabric rather often, and have to frequently pull them back into the jacket. So: handle with care!

Simple shirt. Great color. Very soft. All things great, but MUST size up. I wear a large in almost all brands and this large fits very very tight in the shoulders, arms, and chest. It's like a muscle shirt on me. For reference I am 5'11 '' 190lbs and the `` Fit Finder '' sizing function on the site told me I am a large. If you size up, you will love this shirt.

I have this tee in 4 colours. Definitely agree that you need to size up as it ’s small fitting. Fjallraven have some strange sizing. I ’ m L in Vardag anorak, XL in Greenland Winter Jacket and XXL in tees. Minor criticism, could do with the neck of the tee being tighter.

It's lighter but warmer, which is crazy! This is for sure one of MHW's unique and milestone garments, and a must have for anyone who likes being warm. There's definitely no excuse for not carrying it with you, it's tiny.

This jacket is a great improvement upon the previous Ghost Whisperer jacket in that it's lighter and warmer. I ca n't think of a better jacket to keep warm while minimizing weight in the mountains. I also end up wearing it in town as it's very comfortable. I think this is the only 1000 down fill power jacket available on the market today.

Working in Washington State as a climbing instructor, I am always on the lookout for the next great piece of gear. The Ghost Whisperer UL Hooded Down Jacket is an amazingly light piece of kit that goes un- noticed when in your pack, but is surprisingly warm for its featherweight lightness. The 1000- fill insulation is definitely top notch and a big step up from previously owned mid range puffy jackets. I brought this jacket on a 45 mile backpacking loop in the central cascades of Washington this fall where temps dipped below freezing and I was thoroughly impressed with the warmth to weight ratio of this jacket. However, with amazing lightness comes compromise. I was constantly worried about snagging the ultra thin ripstop shell fabric. The YKK 3 zippers were super light, but I wonder about the durability and longevity of repeatedly opening and closing pocket zips and taking the jacket on and off without having to using extreme caution. If you are looking to shave grams off of your pack weight, consider using the Ghost Whisperer UL Hooded Down Jacket to keep you warm on cool summer nights and shoulder season evenings. Just know that this jacket is a specialty piece, and not your everyday driver due to its lack of durability.
