I 've owned many pairs of the original Stretch Zion shorts and now have moved to the new version. The new Stretch Zion II is has a few changes, but in my opinion, they are still a great pair of shorts. The minor changes like the plastic button and the new fabric still work fine and did n't bother me. Going to the plastic button from the metal one only took a few times of wearing them to get easier to button. The new fabric is still super soft and comfortable but has a sort of shine to it when the light hits them just right. Not a big deal for me. The things that make these my favorite shorts are the comfortable fabric, the adjustable waist band, the color options, and the different pockets. They are also very versatile, I can wear them for activities like hiking and also to a nice restaurant. I own multiple pairs because I wear them all summer.

I love this version of the Ferrosi shorts. I have spent far too much time and money trying to find shorts that met my expectations. These are durable, fit well, and are made of material that is light and stretchy. I do n't overheat in these and they do n't seem to constrict my movement. My only request would be for rear pockets and maybe another belt loop or two, but I understand why the pockets were left off this version as well. Overall, these are great quality shorts. I own several pair in different colors and they are always the first shorts I reach for when I have a choice.

These shorts are awesome. True to size and the stretch waist in the back gives you so much freedom of movement. I 've been using these primarily as a mountain bike short with a chamois liner underneath. The length is great as it comes down to my knee pads. I purchased these with several out MH shorts. These are by far my favorite. They run slightly large in the waist. and Slightly narrow in the thigh area. I 'm 6, 4 195lb athletic build, My quads and thighs are not huge, these shorts are a bit tight but the length on point they hit right at or just above the knee. Other than that these things are super comfortable, stylish, functional. They have the perfect stretch and the pockets are awesome. I 'd go down a size I normally wear a 33 and these are just a bit big when I purchase again I 'll buy a 32in waist.

I 've really come to like the fit and function of the AP shorts( and pants). I now own the shorts in gray and tan- brown and the pants in tan- brown as well as dark green( which the later fit me the best- the tan- brown are a little too snug). I really like the zippered back pockets. Each time I use the back pocket the zipper functions very smooth. Quality and sturdy. I also appreciate the Velcro closer pocket on the right thigh for carrying my iPhone 6s which is in a case and still fits nice and snug.

When asked what he likes most about them he pointed out that they are incredibly stretchy and flexible but have a nice sturdy feel to them. He prefers a trimmer fit to his shorts with longer inseams and these were perfect! They also have cargo short style storage while still looking much cleaner and sleeker. Wear these shorts all summer long and never be disappointed. Stretch material is so comfortable you barely notice these are even on. I roll these up and bring them in pack every trip, they 're great for when I get to camp and start to chill, they work as swim shorts and dry quick, they work if it's really a hot day and the trail is n't too rugged. Only thing is the pockets can be uncomfortable if they 're loaded up too much. I rarely use them.

I bought these based on a friend's recommendation. After week one, I had a small fire in the back of my truck... long story, but in the process of putting it out, a lot of the melting plastic from my tent and sleeping pads hit my right leg. Melting and sticking to my shorts. It did not go through and wonderfully enough after many washes, there is only a small hole and a stain from the event. My lower uncovered bare leg did n't fare as well, but they certainly helped me get the fire out and save my truck. These short are tough! I will be buying a second pair for sure.

I have purchased four pairs over as many years, one was nearly identical called Abisko Lite Trekking Shorts but I see no difference, the current `` Lite '' model does look different. Anyhow these are simply great from nearly every perspective. Light, but reinforced where you 'd want them to be. Stretchy and slim, not baggy and sloppy and yet you never feel constrained by them especially if you have big thighs. I 'm very glad there's no back pockets but instead a reinforced seat, my area if NE has much sharp granite you end up sitting on these do well. There's two well thought out low- profile cargo pockets that look sharp and are actually useful. Glad there's a mesh pouch for a phone in one. And low profile zippers for the properly deep hand pockets to keep items from falling out. What would I add? two small plastic snaps on the bottom cuffs so you could roll them up once and get a little more above the knee thigh cooling. I 've noticed I do this when I am really working and even without any kind of snap the stretchy material generally keeps the `` cuff '' and lets me have a shorter short. Also side vent zips please!. Then these would be absolutely perfect. Anyhow, pair five is being picked up soon.

I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. The ripstop like, grid material wo n't work for everyone in social situations but its fine for me and the material is excellent for high output activities. I just wish these came in a 28 '' waist. The 30 '' waist is huge on me so I have to cinch the drawstring down which makes the material at the waist bunch up( I 'm a 5' 5 '', 130 lbs guy). The only other improvement I could think of would be to add a similar comfort waistband to the one found on the ROC series.

I 've had these for over a month now and> 10 workouts. They fit great, size M for an athletic- but- not- huge guy, 6' 2 '' 200# with a waistline that varies 31- 33 ''. I 've worn Prana Stretch Zion shorts for several years and have yet to find better all- around shorts. They 're very comfortable, light, and durable, and most importantly for me, come in a 12 '' length. I 'm 6' 4 '', so my only suggestion for improvement would be to add a 14 '' option. The pockets are good- sized; the zippered thigh pocket is great for keeping keys in during water activities. The Charcoal color looks great with nearly any shirt.

Great shorts, water resistant and stretchy. I have thick thighs and these fit nice and relaxed. The side pocket is not big enough to zip closed with an iPhone 11 sized phone.

These are my very favorite shorts. They have all the right pockets, some open and some secure. They stretch so there is nice give when I bend or sit. And, they do n't need a belt. I keep looking for new colors!

I bought two pair( khaki and gray) in 2013 and wore them almost daily for three years... hiking, rock climbing, road trips, and every- day activities. When they FINALLY started showing wear( seriously, they wear like iron!), I ordered four more( gray, black, khaki and olive). When I recently ripped one pair — my fault, not the shorts — there was no question, I just immediately bought a replacement. And when I saw that camo was now an option, I ordered that, too. So yeah... I now own six pairs of these amazing shorts. They ’ re that good. I ’ ve gotten rid of all other shorts in my wardrobe... because from going out in the evening to biking to mowing the lawn, the Zion shorts move with me perfectly... and the side pocket has held my iPhone( 5, 8, and 11) perfectly. I love these shorts. You will too.

I wear shorts 90% of the time and these blew my mind. The quality is so different from all the others I ’ ve tried. Lots of thigh room for making leaps or stretching legs far apart. Key loop is a game changer and the branding holds up in the dryer. Highly recommend.

The fit and length of these shorts are great. I like how short and high above the knee they are. Keep in mind they are kind of high waisted, otherwise you 'll feel the shorts pulling funny while you walk.
