Im a delivery driver so when I was looking for boots my aim was to find a pair that were light weight, comfortable, water resis., and had good traction. These shoes checked off all the boxes. Work boots, any brand I ’ ve tried many different brands over the years, usually last 2 months a few lasted 3 months but they were destroyed. This boot is extremely comfortable, still waterproof, little damage, light weight, fits true and helps with leg and back fatigue. These are great hiking boots…I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and have hiked hundreds of miles all over the world. Over 40 years of mountain hiking experience, these boots have served me well. Don ’ t pay attention to the troll who posted several negative reviews under different names, his job is to do that and it ’s really not truthful. These trolls are paid to rag others, because their products can ’ t compete. Besides, Columbia would surely warranty any defects. So, I have used many high end hiking boots from top makers costing twice, even three times as much. These are well crafted with good materials, are very comfortable and lightweight. I find no defects and were perfect in every way. Great traction on slippery surfaces, rocks and grades. Waterproof as good as any high quality brand. I 'm very sure no one makes a better boot for the money, even those higher priced offerings. Columbia works very hard at designing and developing fine outdoor merchandise at competitive prices…backed by years of customer satisfaction. What impressed me most was the comfort and quality.

It ’s hard enough for me to find shoes that fit( Size 17), but these not only had my size in stock, but they fit well on me right out of the box. Not too heavy, and the waterproofing has worked well so far in my three months of ownership. I would recommend sizing up if you have wider feet, but outside of that small issue the boots are a winner in my book.

I 've bought these Keen Targhee boots for several years. My latest pair arrived in mid April in the middle of a northern Wisconsin spring storm with rain, snow, sleet, and hail, all at the same time. None the less it was time to walk the dogs, so I put on my new boots, and spent 3 hours out in the storm with my dogs. The boots stood the test, keeping my feet warm and dry. I bought these because the pair my dad was going to have me use was just a half size too big. These are a true size 11D. They fit me perfect and it does feel like I ’ m walking on a cloud. I Used them for the first time at work and it ’s just amazing. My feet didn ’ t ache or throb, nor are my toes cramped. There is ample room for your toes to breathe and for the steel to cave some should that ever happen. These are my initial thoughts.
