I utilize a foam roller multiple times per day for myself, as well as my personal training clients, and do n't need the long foam roller as I typically roll one leg at a time. This is a great roller if you are new or like a softer touch on the foam roller. Unlike most of the Trigger Point rollers this one is solid foam which has a little more give and is more comfortable than the hollow core rollers from them. I have this and one the hollow core rollers they both have their plus sides. This is not quite as aggressive and is there fore more tolerable for extensive work or sensitive muscles.

Yes, I said built right. I had a hollow version of a foam roller and while I am not a large person by any means( less than 170lbs) it eventually broke down. When I spotted this roller I thought, THERE WE GO! Solid. Solid construction, great material, useful and effective.

Great alternative to foam rolling. I use this at the end of the day if my legs, arms, shoulders or neck are sore from my workout or just the day. It is great because it has slight pressure on its own but you can add even more but pressing in as you are rolling. I personally think it is a great alternative to foam rolling and if you are n't quite ready to purchase a massage gun. I would not recommend it for someone that has a low pain tolerance.

I was searching online on ways to reduce muscle soreness and loosen my tight muscles and found out about foam rollers. I spoke to a colleague of mine who was a cross fit instructor and also recommended on. I previously bought one made just out of foam and did n't find it effective. It was too mushy and I could n't feel it working. But this trigger point grid x really worked well! I can feel it deep in my muscle tissue. My range of motion and recovery seemed to improved as well! I highly recommend this to anyone who has a thicker body as opposed to a thinner body due to the hardness of this roller. Also research on YouTube for foam roller videos so you can correctly perform them.

I have owned this for a month now and I ’ m very happy I chose it. There are several options for massage bars, but this one struck all the correct chords. It ’s cost effective for sure, but that wasn ’ t my deciding factor. The shorter length of the bar allows me to use more torque on my quads without it bending like some of the others did. It ’s compact size it a alot more travel friendly when needed.
