Fit well onto my boots and over my calfs. ... A little noisy and stiff, but they did the job. ... Not sure how wwaterproof they might be as there was n't a visible coating on the back but again, these were super economical so for the price, they worked well in deep snow mother nature flung at

The over the pant, snow gators, worked exceptionally well. They kept the snow out of my boots especially when there was 20 plus inches of snow! I stayed completely dry!

Not bad. A little noisy and stiff, but they did the job. I have another pair of mountain hardware waiters that are gore tex which I like better, but these served the purpose. Not sure how wwaterproof they might be as there was n't a visible coating on the back but again, these were super economical so for the price, they worked well in deep snow mother nature flung at us.

I bought these for a backcountry elk hunt, and ended up wearing them 80% of the time through thick brush. They worked great to keep my lower legs dry and clean. Fit well onto my boots and over my calfs. They arent very breathable, so they do get hot

These ones definitly keeps the snow and sand out. Obviously, do n't expect miracles. if you run with them in knee deep snow, the snow will eventually get in your shoes but for those days when there is 15 to 20cm fresh snow, they really do the job! So far the cord keeping the gaiter in place is also durable, showing no traces of detereoration. I 'm using the M/L with Shoe size 44 1. 2( Inov- 8 Trailroc270)

Great for keeping snow and mud out of the top of runners. They fit nice and tight. The Velcro does snag the fabric though, so care is needed when putting them away.

Too soon to see how durable it is, especially the arch cord, but seem solid and fit well and easy

I 've tried all the rest, these are the best! I must walk funny or whatever, but I seem to kick up rocks, dirt, sand and everything else into my shoes. They fit perfectly, breath amazingly, and are durable like steel, simply put, they will exceed your expectations! I use them in the winter in snow, in the summer in sand and everything in between. I primarily use them for hiking, backpacking and alpine climbing. Worth every penny you 'll spend, even at retail.

[ These gaiters seem to be bomb- proof. I 've used these several times now showshoeing in snow up to a couple of feet deep and have n't managed to get a bit of snow in my shoes. And that's been using low- top Gore- tex hiking shoes-- not even boots-- the whole time. They are very easy to put on and adjust. I will say I feel they run a bit large. I wear size 8. 5 shoes and my hiking shoes, thought not boots, are still pretty bulky. The medium fits with ease and I know they would go over a big pair of boots if I needed them to. I feel like I would be swimming in the L at this size. A lot of the fit does depend on your calf size though. I have relatively slender calves. If you have big calves, you may consider sizing up/going true to size based on provided size chart. I 'd size down if you 're at the lower end of the scale though and do n't have big calves.

[ I purchased these a few weeks ago and despite the heat, I have been able to try them out a few times. They work perfectly for what I got them for... to keep debris out of my boots. I did n't have to stop once to dump rocks out of my boots which had become a major problem. They seem like they are going to be some great protection too. I love the 2 tone aqua and orange color pair I got! The quality seems great and just hope the velcro will hold throughout my many hikes.

[ I bought these and have used them 4 times already in the Colorado winter. They have kept my boot uppers and lower legs dry. They are comfortable, relatively easy to get on/off, and fit great. I 've noticed no wear so far so I believe they will hold up well. Makes a HUGE difference in winter hiking!

[ Tired of getting snow in the back of my boots when snow shoeing despite wearing water- proof pants, so got some gaiters. Completely dry inside after nearly 10 miles in the snow. Comfortable, easy to put on and take off.

[ Have n't had a chance to put them through the wringer besides a few short ice climbing sessions. No holes from crampons, and they fit as described( I have size 11 insulated boots and ordered the XL).

I 've really liked these gaiters for when It is really going to be damp. They attach well at the boot, are high enough to catch most of the dew I see on early morning hikes through long grass and the goretex coating is a clinch feature.

Crocodile Gaiters are the best Gaiter buy on the Market ... I have been using a pair of Crocodile GTX Gaiters since early 1990s and they are still functional, although the velcro closure is a bit distorted, they still close up

[ I bought these this month for my husband and me. We took them out hiking yesterday and it was 25 degrees and cold. It was snowing. They really protected our legs from the wind and cold, as well as kept the snow completely out of our boots. I thought that I would n't wear them until the snow was deeper, but I found the material was a great insulator, and I not only stayed warm, but the waterproof material helped keep our boots dry, as we crossed a lot of streams. I found them easy to put on, and appreciated looking online at the help with the right placement. I initially thought it 'd be awkward to walk on the strap, but I never felt it.

By far the best gaiters on the market. I 'm a power lineman in Alaska and use them daily all winter.

These are the best gators that I 've used and the customer service is great. I broke a buckle on mine and they sent me a new pair. How can you beat that?

I live in Alaska, and I bought these for shoveling my drive way and wearing around town. They are fantastic. Quality and durability are obvious. I will not need another pair for the foreseeable future. I was unsure on size and bought a large. Probably could have gotten away with a medium, but they cinch down well around my calf, and I have the ability to wear extra layers underneath now. Having said that, I do have skinny legs.

I use these on the muddy slopes of Utah and for snowshoeing. They handle great stay up on the leg and I forget that they 're there most of the time. The old school tongue and rod bottom mechanism leaves a little to be desired but other than that highly recommend
