I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. Or maybe different bomber offerings.

Everything about the jacket is rugged and high quality. The stitching and was perfect and the large tooth YKK zippers were smooth with no snags. Fit is good but on the slimmer side( in a good way). You can layer a sweatshirt and puff vest but that ’s about it. If you need more, size up. Unfortunately I had to return the jacket due to the antler color being very pink. Hood works well with a helmet, but hood could be a bit bigger. The hand- warmer inner cuffs are good, but can wick up water during heavy rain. Pockets are good placement and size and insulated phone pocket is a definite plus! I love that various features in the jacket( such as the `` Glove Link '' are in a contrasting colour and labelled so that you do n't have to guess their uses. This jacket I has an incredible warmth to weight ratio. The reinforced areas are positioned perfectly for use with backpacks and tactical gear. Very comfortable and warm. Packs up very nicely if you ’ re a backpacker and space conscious.

I like the cut of OR jackets. I am 6 ’ 1 ” 235. The Helium Down does not disappoint regarding warmth. It has that soft down feeling with added structural integrity where one might carry a pack. The gusseting in the arm allow for a full range of motion without much rise. I have long arms and can still draw out without the jacket tightening too much in the back. If for some reason I found myself in dire need of more warmth I could wear it underneath a jacket or shell because it could compress enough to almost be a base layer and not sacrifice its loft. At which point I am certain to roast.

This jacket served me well for 10 years of steady use every winter/fall and I finally replaced it. The quality is superb, the new Pertex Shield on the shoulders/arms gives it a much more durable feel. It has a premium feel in the hand and is a nice blend of weight/durability. Fits great with layers underneath, but also works well as a mid- layer under a shell. I 'm a fan of the new color options too. In summary, this is a durable, lightweight, packable and versatile jacket that does its job in the back- country but transitions seamlessly to the front- country. Highly recommended.

I have a number of OR gear/jackets/fleece. For reference I 'm 5'10 '' and weigh 215 average build so I typically wear an XL in OR and L in some other brands depending on fit. This jacket is very well made and everything fits to be expected except at the waist. It's very small compared to my other OR jackets which surprises me. It is warm but the Storm color is n't accurately represented in the pictures. It's a much lighter grey color in person.

Jacket has just the right amount of warmth. Haven ’ t been in really wet conditions yet with it but so far I am very pleased. I am 5 ’ 11 ” and 165. Med fits perfect.

This jacket is an addition to the three other various Carhartts that I have hanging in my coat closet. I was needing something on the lighter side this time for doing some e- bike trail riding around metro Detroit and also something to match the camo paint scheme on my fat tire. This jacket's Moss color turned out being about as close to U. S. Army `` mean green '' as you could hope to get and I also really like the high zip neck and velcro adjustable sleeves. The fit was perfect too, as always. Since I have the sincere `` need for speed '', I was also duly impressed with how warm it was against the Spring windchill temps. I paired this jacket up also with some Carhartt fingerless gloves which is another story but the combo has worked out exceedingly well for riding. After all the accolades though, what stands out the most about this brand to me is that it was born in the City of Detroit for the tough, honest, hardworking man and wearing it, to quote Doc Holiday, kind of reminds me of me.

These bibs were fantastic for my snowboarding trip in Breckenridge. These bibs were extra flexible and did n't make me feel as constrained as other bibs have. They fit well and were very comfortable for riding from first chair to last. We ended up having a pretty wide range of temperatures from 40 to- 10. The vents did a great job of keeping me cool on the warmer days, and I only had to add a single layer of thermal underwear( top and bottom) to be comfortable on the- 10 days!

So far, so good! Living right outside the Middlesex Fells, the weather can be incredibly variable year round, and this jacket handles the rain and wind well. I 've found this jacket has managed to keep me warm when it's cold out, but also not overheat me in the event the sun is out because of how light the jacket is. The vents also help a lot with that, too. Definitely recommend!

The jacket is super lightweight which allows for comfortable wearing and has plenty of room to layer up in. It ’s not bulky or in proportional, all of the measurements are equal and allow for comfortable wearing with and without layers underneath.
