I just received this jacket today and I 'm super happy with it after only trying it on! I 'm 5'11 '', about 165- 170, athletic build and the large fits perfectly! I have a little extra length in the arms, which I love because it is a rarity. I feel like I have just enough room that I could wear a crewneck underneath without problem, but it's not bulky without layers. And it's long enough that it covers my bottom! I 'm usually between a medium and a large and I would not size down for a medium in this jacket.

[ I bought this in black for my trip to Iceland and it was great! It was comfortable as a windbreaker and as a waterproof jacket. It ’s stylish and durable. Being 5 ft tall, I often get smalls but I went with a medium( even though the website recommended a large 🤨) so I could put other layers underneath it and it worked out because I could roll the sleeves up just fine. The hood is still big but I had another shirt with a hood underneath.

[ This just arrived yesterday so I haven ’ t worn it in the rain yet but it ’s a great jacket. Looks good and well made. My only complaint is the bright red sticker on the wrist, it totally detracts from the clean look of the jacket but there is no way to remove it. Great jacket. Bought it to replace a similar Columbia OutDry that lost the hood tie. Love the style of this one except the ridiculous Columbia logo on the center of the back. There are logos on the chest and sleeve. Why put it in the center of the back? Looks ridiculous. Returned.

I have had this coat for over a month now and I love it! Super warm and the absolute best coat I ’ ve ever had for walking my dog or hiking in the winter. Keeps me warm without getting too warm. Seems to regulate well. I went a size down( small vs my normal size medium) and I ’ m glad I did. Plenty of room for layering with thicker clothes underneath. Very happy with this purchase!

Love, love, love this jacket. I am that girl who is always freezing, especially if it's windy I do n't stand a chance. Well this jacket has been a lifesaver, got me through- 20F weather with no problem, it blocks the wind and moisture. The pockets at mid level, that are fleece lined, are a blessing. I did a lot of research before buying this coat and I do n't regret it. Now it may not be as form fitting as one might want but honestly when you are warm in dead of winter, who cares. Initially thought the chest pockets going outward( zips to open the pockets are on either side of the midline at chest level) was a bad design because I couldn ’ t put my hands in to keep warm. [ I have tried many rain jackets but rarely do they beat Fjallraven( even some hunting brands). I Love the big, adjustable hood and adjustable wrist. The material is not paper thin and cheap. I do wish it had side pockets but not a deal breaker. I do n't stuff the pockets like a purse so I have no problems with chest pockets. I 'm 130lb lbs. and have this in Small and Med depending if I need to layer.
