I wore these on a long day of walking all day in 95+ degree weather and they were so comfortable! I loved that I could unzip them a bit at the bottom of leg for airflow. They are so lightweight and soft. They 're great for travel too, worked well for a long day at the airport. Be aware that you will make some noise in these, that swish swish sound. I ’ ve been wearing these pants for both work and play for the last 3 years. Phenomenal in almost every way. Hard wearing, durable, and stylish. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. One of the best features is the strategic stretch material. Pants are never binding and always comfortable. Thank you for making an amazing product!

No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.

These pants exceeded my expectations. They are very lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and surprisingly comfortable. The inner waist ties are a bit goofy since they have belt loops, but overall, I really enjoy them on and off the trail. They are definitely on the lighter side, though, and seem like more of a fair weather pant if you are n't planning on running heavier base layers underneath. Highly recommended though, and quickly becoming my favorite hiking pants.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

These pants exceeded my expectations. They are very lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and surprisingly comfortable. The inner waist ties are a bit goofy since they have belt loops, but overall, I really enjoy them on and off the trail. They are definitely on the lighter side, though, and seem like more of a fair weather pant if you are n't planning on running heavier base layers underneath. Highly recommended though, and quickly becoming my favorite hiking pants.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. After wearing nylon cargo pants for the last 20 years, I have switched to these. They are very comfortable and the fabric is great. I did have to have a tailor shorten them in length. I also had the zippered pockets reduced in depth to eliminate heavy stuff like a cell phone banging on my knee. I wish they came in khaki!! Note that they run very large. I normally take a 39 '' waist but had to order a 37 '' waist and it is loose. I bought them for travel but now they are my everyday pants.

I love these so much that I now own 4 pairs. They are lightweight, the waistband is comfortable and cinchable with drawstring, they stay up during a heavy HIIT workout or a long run, and best of all, they have large side pockets on both sides, a separate key pocket AND a mesh pocket on the back of the waistband. I usually only use one large pocket for my phone, but it's nice to be able to stash sunglasses, tissues, cash, etc, in the other pockets

I love these pants, have repurchased many times. They ’ re super breathable, quick dry, flexible and flattering. They will snag and pill a bit, but that is typical of quick dry fabrics I find. I would love to see more bright colours available. The tapenade yellow that was sold years ago would be great.

Material is super thin — breathable on those hot days. Runs a little large in the waist, but it has like a built in tie if you don ’ t want to wear a belt. I wish they had a tall option, because at 5 ’ 10 ”, I am flooding in these pants. I would still buy again despite that. So comfy!

I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

Love these. I have two pairs in different colors. I get many compliments on them while hiking. They are comfortable and the waist height is perfect. Love the side zipper pocket AND the back zipper pocket. For sizing, I am 5' 4 '' and a muscular 130 pounds, and the size 4 fits me well. I hike frequently in the Grand Canyon and these pants have withstood at least 4 hikes in there so far. I am also a climber.
