I 've only been using this for four weeks. The product is sturdy and well constructed. The nylon strap looks and feels like it will provide lasting use. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable in the hands. The seat is comfortable and I 've had no issues with it. [ I spent a solid researching rowers( from online reviews to customer opinions to pros/cons of water vs chain vs magnetic resistance). While a Concept 2 was desirable, the price was not! Finally, it was a informational video on Instagram by `` trainingtall '' that convinced me to go with chain/fan resistance rower. Sure, water rowers are quieter and have that soothing sound of rushing water, but you have to worry about( a) adding/removing water to change resistance,( b) make sure you use water conditioner to prevent mold and( c) the risk of eventual leaks. With a fan- based chain rower( as opposed to magnetic), there's no need for a variable settings because the level resistance is determined by how hard you pull. Sure, it's definitely louder but the wind generated by the fan is a welcome benefit for someone like me who tends to sweat more than most during exercise. The unit was very easy to assemble by myself and came with all of the parts and tools I needed. After a few minor seat adjustments to eliminate a slight wobble, I was ready to go in under 45 minutes. I like that the moveable, flexing foot rests have nylon pull straps rather than Velcro( which tends to wear out after extended use). The seat is comfortable and glides smoothly( back- and- forth) along the rail. I purchased an 8' exercise mat to go underneath after watching a YouTube workout video of the Stamina X on a bare floor and seeing how much it moved. With the mat, the rower stays put! I will agree with most of the reviews I 've read- the LCD monitor is pretty basic and rudimentary. It's also at an angle that makes the screen very hard to read( even in bright light). I use it strictly for watching my stroke count and strokes per minute- which it does well. To monitor my heart rate and to get a more accurate assessment of calories burned, I wear a Polar H10 strap connected to an old phone( Velcro 'd to the front of the rail( just below the LCD display). I 've been using the rower for 3 weeks now and I 've been very pleased. It's feels very solid and stable with no wobble whatsoever. I kind of wish the pull bar was a bit wider, but that's just me nitpicking!

I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

We purchased this after doing a fair amount of research on rowing machines and we are glad we did. We get a good aerobic workout along with a balanced upper and lower toning. As Seniors we started slowly and gradually increased the intensity and length of time on the machine. This rower is well made, compact, and fun to use. No regrets here!

The good: free shipping, good packaging, easy setup( took about 25 min), seems well built and sturdy. the not so good: foot peddle straps, rowing handle seems narrow. I have broad shoulders and I feel I would get more motion if the bar was slightly wider. Overall: I am happy with my purchase. It seems to be a good `` middle of the road '' rower without breaking the bank. At first I thought the resistance was n't going to be enough however after 10 minutes you can feel the burn.

[ So far so good. The only problem we 've had was with the directions. Some of the pieces were already installed. We do n't have any burning issues as we are in our 70's and do n't row that fast or that long. I do use a seat cushion though. It truly is like rowing a boat.

The Trekpad is very simple to use and completely avoids gym membership which is challenging during winter in Maine. I like the readouts which provide a variety of information throughout the workout. I broke one minor piece getting the treadmill out of the box, so I will be calling Sunny H& F to see if they can send me another arm rest. We have used this machine every day for the last two weeks. We have owned two other treadmills and this is our third. This one is fantastic and the best one by far. Our main reason for getting this is the extensive handle/grab bars strategically located in front and to the sides. The machine itself is commercial grade and the motor runs the belt flawlessly with zero stutters/lags. It is very smooth and great on the knees/legs. The design is perfect for us and the display is so easy to see and use. Incline and Decline have both been used and it is a nice touch. The rowing machine arrived with a gash in the package and the metal shroud around the Magnet was bent. During assembly I was able to bend the shroud back into shape, thus removing the risk of injury during the use of the machine. Once assembled the machine worked smoothly. In regards to the damage during transport I had very prompt and competent interactions with both the seller and the manufacturer. Obviously, the damage was caused by neither of them, I got it fixed quickly and I enjoy the machine. I was happy with both the purchase process and the quality of the product.
