This material is thin and soft without being clingy( which my size L midriff hates) while at the same time they were super protective from the sun. I like that it ’s a little long because most medium shirts are hardcore belly shirts when I pick my arms up a little.( I ’ m not that type of guy) If you are than this shirt might not be for you. I have a snap button shirt this will go under on my backpacking endeavors this summer. It seems like weight enough to be worn under something without being too hot but I guess we will see. Being light weight makes me skeptical about its ability to resist wear and tear, however I can ’ t speak from trekking experience.

I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

Love the fabric and fit. Large is my usual size( 12 or L in US Sizing) and fit perfectly. I have tried other brands in similar fabrics, but they were clingy and uncomfortable. This fabric has a soft interior that is n't cold or slinky feeling. I got the Port color and it's rich, not shiny. I wish this shirt was offered in the same color in long sleeve for sun protection. The large measures 22 inches across the chest from bottom of sleeve seam, and 23 inches length from shoulder at collar seam to hem. Perfect length for me and I wo n't have to tuck it in but it is n't an unflattering cropped style.

Love this shirt. Ordered two colors, the forest green and the navy/orange and both look great. They are warmer than standard button ups, they wash well/ wrinkle free. Only had for a season but they seem to be holding up well and be crafted pretty sturdily. I will probably order another color this fall as they have quickly become my favorite flannel/button up type shirt. It does run slightly loose- Im 5'10 175lbs and the M fits perfectly relaxed- not tight at all( i usually like slimmer fit but this is classic) but not too baggy to where it looks big. So far Fjallraven has not disappointed( 2 shirts& 2 jackets) so I will likely buy more.

Cold Weather Killer
Got this to replace a 25+ year old Nike ACG baselayer that is still wearable. I bought this for it's slick and soft material, color( I love brighter colored base layers) raglan shoulder sleeves and OR's size/fit. This is actually my first OR top I 've ever purchased and I am so happy that the fit is perfect in the body/torso and sleeve length. Follow the size guide and know your own size dimensions and you ca n't go wrong. I ca n't believe how this extremely ultra light layer keeps me so warm. I love these. The Echo line of long/short sleeve and tanks are my absolute favorite OR product. The fit is great. I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” and athletic. I work out to look and feel good and so often the clothes I find from retailers are made for guys 6 feet plus with a flat chest and no butt. Not so this product. I 've tried several sun shirts of different brands and majority feel clammy and make me feel hot in the sun. Not this shirt! The material is thin, breathable and very soft on your skin. I actually prefer the quarter zip version over the MH hoody due to the bottom hem design( hoody has a draw string at the bottom which I do n't care for). This shirt also has better neck protection for me since I always wear a wide brim hat when I hike and I would n't use the hood. And I really appreciate having quarter zip to allow more air through. I 'd love to have more solid color options.

Absolutely love this product. I bought this for hiking as I 've had skin cancer. It is so light weight that I am now also wearing it when riding my mountain bike in the summer. I want 10 more! Please just make more colors. I also love the thumb hole as it keeps the sun off my hands when hiking.

These little wool tees are a Maudsend in humid( and cooler!) weather, and the perfect mix of casual and `` active wear. '' I throw pottery on a wheel, do a bit of woodworking, and hike, and these transition beautifully from casual wear to need- moisture- wicking work/play clothes and regulate my squirrelly body temperature amazingly well. Really love the neckline on the Tech Lite II( still gives coverage on the pottery wheel, but far more flattering and comfortable a fit than the higher crew necks on the other tees). Length gives great coverage, also- just right without reveal. I am more often a small than a medium, but was a solid medium here- the usual bit of shrink of wool during washing was just enough to make it a perfect fit. The price is higher than cotton tees, obviously, but they are well made, a treat to wear, and seem to last, so I purchase a couple now and then and replenish as needed. Body style is lovely, some shape but still loose enough for comfort and a more flattering `` fit. '' Would really love it if they brought back the dark charcoal color, and some more darker, subtle, maybe even heathered colors( The lighter, like all tees, shows more sweat stains eventually, at least for me, and I 've never cared for pastel/easter egg brights). Holding up well through many wearings and washings, thank you so much!

These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

I have the Abisko wool shirt in the long and short sleeve models. When I had a bad fall in Argentina and broke my arm, I had on the long sleeve version. The arm was badly damaged, but the shirt still looks great. I look forward to wearing it when I get my arm out of the cast. Now I can wear only the ones with short sleeves and REALLY wish they came in other colors.

+ Color is super pretty+ material is really lightweight, good for long days in the sun and stretchy enough for climbing. +/- For me the length is good, hits in a flattering spot above my hip bones, unless I 'm wearing a harness or even with backpack or bouldering pads strapped around my waist, in which it becomes kinda annoying because it's a bit short and rides up, and gets all bunchy. It was more annoying with the harness while trad multipitching, because it was kinda billowy and bunchy right by the gear loops and would mess with my trad rack.- the seam lines on the arms are kinda weird and a little uncomfortable/scratchy. i wish it felt smoother on the inside. It also runs down the middle of the inside arm, rather than on the outside arm edge. Anyway YMMV, but I 'll continue to wear this for bouldering or cragging days but not multipitch days
