I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. My only complaint is that the actual color of the shorts dont match what is shown in the pictures. The gray ones for example look like a lighter gray but in person are very dark. I find this to be a common pattern with Nike ’s products. Maybe they use a filter on their photos and edit the lighting which in turn changes the color in the photos. These are great shorts. I mainly use them for running and functional training but they are so comfy i even wear them around the house casually. I love shorts that are a bit forgiving around the waist and dont feel like they are suffocating me. The Nike Stride shorts tend to make me feel that way. Also the liner is a great size on these shorts and actually fit, much wider than the stride shorts. I think if you ’ re built wider or maybe your a body builder type with more muscle, then these might be a better fit. I wear Medium in shorts and pants in general and I ordered a Medium in these.

[ I 'm a shorts guy, so let's get that out of the way first. It can be 30 outside, raining or snowing, and you 'll usually find me in shorts year round. It's essential I have several pairs laying around at all times so I can rotate frequently, but since I got these, I do n't feel I have the need to switch out of them as often as I probably should, they are super comfy, and can go with anything else I throw on to wear with them. The fit of these is great, I 'm generally between a M- L in most things depending on how they run, and these are right in the middle for me, which is perfect. If you 're a true large around a 34 waist and do n't like a snug fit, I 'd suggest maybe size up. They do n't shrink when you wash them which is nice as well. The materials are great, nice soft and comfy fit, and really appreciate the fact they have a liner and are n't a single layer of mesh like my Jordan brand DNA shorts( which are basically see- through). They are advertised as 6 '' shorts, but from my experience wearing a lot of running shorts as well, they do have a higher rise and longer outseam, so these are n't going to be hitting you mid thigh like most typical 6 '' shorts do, unless you pull them up to your belly button. For me, it's the perfect length, not at the knee, but a couple inches above. And unlike most above the knee basketball shorts, these are n't super wide at the opening make us guys with smaller legs look like we are swimming in short shorts, I 've had that issue in the past where they are very wide and it just does n't look right with above the knee shorts, but no issue here with these! The material is fantastic, it's not heavy, very soft to the touch, does n't have a cold/cool feeling like typical mesh, but it's got that drifit feel you are used to from Nike products, which I really enjoy. Moisture wicking, breathable, absolutely nothing to complain about with these! These are probably going to be my daily shorts for a while, unless Nike comes out with something better any time soon. I own a lot of different pairs of shorts, but honestly for the fit, comfort, and versatility of these, they are hands down my favorite right now. Either going outside and getting some exercise, sitting at home relaxing, or even running errands on the weekend, these are it for me.

I love the fact that these shorts fall above the knees. These does show your knees if you ’ re not wearing compression shorts underneath. It ’s very light and comfy. The material is very breathable so you don ’ t feel like your bottom half is very constricting or hot. Nike did their thing with this dri- fit material. I do sweat a lot when playing ball, but the lightweight and breathable material kept the temp down and the sweating to a minimal. Comfort I give it a 9. 5/10. I can wear this all day! The design is simple but versatile which is why I give it an 9/10. Love the fact that it has regular pocket and a zipper pocket. It has the standard Nike shorts look, but to be honest, I love the simple design because it goes with everything. Durability on these shorts are made to last. You can do your errands or your most strenuous activity and you ’ ll get stuff done. Durability wise, I give this a 9/10. Overall I give these shorts a 9/10. It hits all the buckets I look for in shorts to wear especially for basketball. The simple design and how the shorts fall before knees is what I look for mainly. The lightweight and breathable material while help limiting the sweat helped me choose and recommend these shorts to anyone!

Great fit, wears well& lots of compliments. However the orange[ Monarch] color seems more of a rusty fall orange then a summertime orange that we thought it was when ordering online. Somewhat disappointed but will keep them. The Baltic Blue& Lavender[ Rush Fuchsia] seem true to color.

Favorite shorts I own. I have worn these a handful of times and they are I don ’ t have one negative thing to say about them! I ’ ll wear them on runs and just keep them on for whatever activity or errands I do after that. The zippered pocket in the back is great. It is big enough to hold an iPhone 13 pro but not too big where it ’s moving around a lot. The zipper opens and closes smoothly without any snags. Definitely want more of these!

[ Wow! Just ran 2 miles in these can honestly say I ’ m very pleased. I typically would never run in shorts due to chaffing but thought I would give these a try since they were advertised as sweat wicking. The shorts did not disappoint. During the run I did sweat quite a bit as you can see from armpits in pic and the shorts did not get wet one bit. I wore a size 0x and at first try on thought they were a big loser than I would like, but that loser fit played into comfortability. During my run I was extremely comfortable, did not have to tug on bottoms to pull them down or adjust fitting. They also have built in underwear, which is a plus. This is a piece you want regret, if your active, they perform exactly has advertised and if your looking to run errands comfortably you will still be stylish.

[ The first thing I noticed about these shorts are how light weight the fabric is. They fit true to size and I love the wide waist band. I am plus size and these are the best fitting loose athletic shorts j have found. The fabric feels super light, perfect for workouts or wearing out and about on hot days. My only complaint about these shorts is that the pockets are not big enough to hold my cell phone securely. It hangs out and falls out easily. That being said these are still my go to shorts.

These Squadra shorts are nicely designed, with elegant striping in addition to the standard triple stripes. They are lightweight and probably won ’ t stand up to repeated machine washes, but the solution is either to wear them a few times between washes or to wash them by hand.
