I really love these pants. They are super versatile and very light weight. I wear them to work when I want and wear them out to dinner with my wife. To be fair, I am 6 ’ 4 and I have a long torso and short legs. These pants seem to run a little shorter than others. These are a 38x32 but are about an inch shorter than I would like, but hey that ’s the style these days anyhow. I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium. I usually am a size 10, athletic build, and I am 5'10. There was just too much extra fabric in the front and hip region in the large. OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. I love the high waist, the side pockets and that I can move so freely, including very high steps:) They are flattering, comfy and stay cool. I would size down if between sizes as the fit is loose. I would love to see some additional fun colors- teal, green etc.

Buy these, particularly if you 're a curvy outdoor gal! I bought two pairs a couple months ago and am now living in them, as the weather warms. Fabric is a little thin, but that's great for the warm, humid south. Biggest perk is that they work great on an active, but curvy figure. I ca n't do some of the other styles that are cut slim in the butt/thigh/hip area, but these look great and are super comfy.( For ref b/c it helps me, I 'm 5' 4 '', curvy, and wear medium Dynama products). I really hope MHW keeps making this style and adds colors, b/c it's now my fav of the Dynama line!

Hang well.( 2) Having the high rise waist is great; the pants stay securely in place while I move in any direction, at any speed.( 3) The horizontal zippered front pockets are an excellent style and security feature:( a) you do n't get that pocket gap pop- out that comes with non- zippered, angled pockets and( b) there's no fear that what you put in those pockets, like keys, will fall out.( 4) They are perfect for travel. I wanted to love these pants, but they could 've been better. I thought they fit TTS, I 'm 5' 9 180lb with wider hips, and usually wear a large in bottoms like these, so that's what I ordered. The large fit great( and these are tall girl friendly!!), however, the waistband was oddly large. There is no drawstring to tighten them, and it just felt so loose around the waist with no structure. I expected some kind of elastic waistband, but it was just a loose stretchy fabric. I might take them somewhere to see if I can have the waist taken in, but it just did n't feel secure.

I bought my first Merino wool in New Zealand and never regretted paying the big bucks. The 4 star rating is because of fit. The Small size is very baggy. I am thin, 120# 5' 7 '' and I feel even an XS might be that way. I will still enjoy them because they are warm. I was just hoping for more of a yoga pant slimmer fit for potential evening wear.
