[ Comfortable right out of the box. We went to the mountains to hike and these boots did not fail me! I would recommend these to anyone. I am 250 and these held me up and stable the whole time.

[ This boot got a good review in Backpacker's Summer 2022 issue. I agree with their praise. It was their pick for carrying heavy packs. What sets this boot apart is that it's an ultralight that's designed for backpacking. A different wish- list to fulfill than your standard hiking boot. I bought these to retire an old& tired pair and now have about 200 miles on them-- local trails. So pleased with the light weight and great ankle support. It's time to get real and go long.

Comfort and weight of a running shoe! I ’ ve been looking for a great waterproof boot to hike/walk my dogs in for that in between time when there ’s enough snow you want more than a trail runner but not quite the heaviness of a snow boot. These fit the bill! I do have a slightly wider foot so they felt a bit narrow at first, but with time and lacing adjustment, they feel great.

I recently bought these shoes for a hiking trip in Maine. I briefly broke them in before the trip and had no issues with them while hiking, they are super comfortable and warm! I walked 40+ miles through various rocky trails and my feet felt supported and never slipped. I highly recommend these, however, they may be a bit hot for summer or warmer climates. I do wish they offered better colors as well. I would buy again!!

Amazingly comfortable. They make my feet feel loved. They grip well enough that I can step on slimy rocks without slipping. Only downside is they 're a bit warm for midsummer in the sun, but I think that's just the tradeoff for them being cozy in the snow as well as surprisingly waterproof- I 've dunked them two inches deep in streams and the water sheeted right off. My only request is to please bring these back in men's wide sizes- my husband has heard me talk about how great these are but ca n't find a pair in his size!

[ I love these boots. Wearing them feels like walking on giant marshmallows- they 're supportive without feeling constricting. I have weak ankles and narrow feet so the slim footbed and structured sides are perfect for me. These are my second pair of Vasque boots, the first being the snow boots I bought last season and loved. So far I have worn these on the beach and through the woods- looking forward to taking them on their first bigger hike this weekend. They 've proven to be waterproof and comfortable. Also, even though I was n't excited about the color scheme( teal& purple), they look really cute on.

These boots are great for someone looking for the support of a high top boot without the weight. They are super durable and held up well on a rafting trip through the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alaska. They kept my feet warm and dry around camp and had a fantastic supportive footbed and grippy sole for hiking. They do run rather small and narrow, so I recommend trying these on to see what size and width works best for you!

When the box first arrived, it was so light I thought there had to be a mistake. These boots are half the weight of any other hiking boot I ’ ve worn, yet still highly supportive. The Vibram soles offer great traction and waterproof qualities unbelievable.

Next day after purchase I went on an 8- mile hike across various terrain, rocky, smoothe, uphill, downhill- no hot spots, no failures. ... Of course, when hiking socks are important to prevent a hot spot and eventual blister- so I use a very thin, fine- weave coolmax undersock directly in contact...

[ Bought this brand several years ago and finally the sole split so had to buy another pair. They are my go to boots for hiking. That are great quality and lasted 15 years.

[ Been wearing the Vasque breeze since 2016 and never had a blister in this boot. Quality is good, never had an issue. The only thing that wears is the tread which is to be expected from normal wear and tear and backpacking in extremely rocky conditions. Would recommend. I won ’ t wear anything else.

I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

Great boot! I have had mine for over 5 years and have nearly 1100 Strava miles on them. Sole is holding up and even the original laces show no sign of wear. I rotate use of them with another brand which I have over 1700 miles on. No complaints!

[ I have been wearing Vasque coldspark a for 6 years but they have not been so waterproof last winter maybe it ’s due to a tear I don ’ t know. I was looking for the same pair to replace these and I did but also bought the Breeze. I must tell You they are the most comfortable hiking boots I ’ ve ever worn. My feet are cushioned and they never hurt after a long strenuous hike where the others left my feet screaming after only a few miles. The breeze are super lightweight too! I will never wear another brand. Vasques will never disappoint in my Opinion. I am a size 7 and Unlike my last Vasques which were a a size 8 I bought a 7. 5 and don ’ t need to wear heavy socks. No more hot spots and aches. My feet are happy!!

I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

I bought these for a photography trip to Iceland. As with all my Vasque boots, they fit right out of the box. I hiked on rocky hills and through streams and wet sand beaches and they were a dream. Fully waterproof and comfortable after 12 hour days. Loved they were so much lighter than other hiking boots. Tread on bottom gave sure footing on wet rocks. I couldn ’ t have asked for more!

[ Lightweight and well fitting with the good quality Vasque is known for.( Returned since I was hoping they were less bulky in size for suitcase travel.)

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!
