So far, I have worn it a couple of ways- with a fitted long sleeve t- shirt( pictured) and with a thick hoodie. It worked very well both ways! It does fit on the looser side. For size reference, I 'm petite 5' x 1 '' and have this in size XS. For a more fitted look, I probably could have sized down. One feature I like about the vest is the bottom drawstring as I am able to cinch it for a more fitted look. The side zippered pockets allow me to secure my items without needing to worry about them slipping out. Overall, I highly recommend it!

One tip: If you prefer a less oversized fit and do n't plan on layering much underneath, you might want to size down. I 'm usually a small, but an XS would have worked just as well without sacrificing fit, style or function. Despite being super puffy and plush, it packs down quite small, which is a big plus for travel.

I love this vest so much. I got black and took the faux fur off( which is very nice and soft- my cat tried to destroy it). Get your bigger regular size( I had to exchange small for medium, I ’ m 5 ’ 7 ” 145lbs). Quality for cold winter and I feel like I ’ m walking around in a down sleeping bag it ’s so cozy

The length is great and truly keeps me warm. I love that I ’ m able to move around in it, usually long fitted outer ware is hard to sit in with out readjusting or opening. I have a toddler and and able to comfortably chase him around, crouch down and sit without having to adjust at all.
