We had noticed people with `` personal items '' that could attach to the handle of roll- on bags and decided something like this would make it even easier to maneuver through crowded airports. There is a discrete strap on the back that allows you to attach to your suitcase. And something that really caught my eye was the side compartment for wet/dirty clothes. The exterior yoga mat pocket is clever as it does n't take up space inside the bag and allows it to air dry after a hot yoga class. The dirty clothes pocket is convenient and it even has an interior keychain to help you keep track of your keys. The zipper is large and easy to use. The bag is on the bigger size but does n't feel too bulky. This is one of the more innovative gym bags I have ever owned.

I own a lot of duffle bags. I ’ m a seasonal worker in Alaska and the lighter and tougher the bag that can hold my gear the better. A lot of if not most duffel bags on the market can convert to a backpack, but I don ’ t know of any other duffles that can convert to a huge tote!? My other duffel bags I used when I travel to/from Alaska sit for the six months until I need them. I know this is gon na be used weekly when we go for quick overnight car camping on the flats or grocery trips in Canada and especially laundry. It's is higher quality than Osprey or The North Face duffles I own and more useful than both. There's a big mesh pocket inside the bag to separate smaller things. it ’s a very well thought out bag and looks pretty cool. I ’ ll be using this for years to come.

I bought this for an eight day excursion hiking the NM and TX national parks. I need something durable enough to handle checked baggage and throwing around a campsite in the desert. The way the bag converts from a backpack to wide mouthed storage tote is very handy. The way it opens up makes staying organized easier than a traditional duffel bag. It is well built and love the internal and external pockets. My only complaint would be the carrying handles should be shorten.

This bag's versatility is unmatched from others I 've owned and used. I never imagined I 'd buy another after my old Marmot bag but Nemo said, `` hold my beer... '', and here I am... looking to get a smaller size for different travel requirements. Internal straps snug down loads inside, while external straps give you options on how to transport the duffel. Safe to say this is my new go- to deployment bag. Nemo did a great job showing off the features in their video if you 're a mouth breather( like me) and need a quick tutorial.

I 've been looking for a bigger duffel for a trip planning to Greece and wow this fits the bill. I bought the 100L and it's amazing how big this is. So far I have a few 60- 80L Duffel from TNF and Patagonia and love those two. In comparison, this is not as thick as my TNF, but definitely thicker than Patagonia. 2nd, once a few items get tossed in, it's Free Standing!!! With the additional support on the sides, I can easily toss things in. So far I planned a few camping/climbing/biking trips and this thing fits all my gear and clothe I needed. Tote mode has been amazing as it makes everything easily accessible. Ca n't wait to try the Backpack mode for my flights.

This was my main bag for the trip and it worked out great. I was able to use this for in and out of motels along the way. I was somewhat careful with how to treat this bag, but realistically, I tossed it in the back of the truck several times, and even with the every day abuse of traveling this way, the bag held up wonderfully and looks brand new. This bag is AWESOME! I travel a lot and have tried a variety of different styles and types of bags to use as my carry- on luggage and until now had not found one that was anything but just 'okay'. They were either too big or too small, hard to carry with my other luggage, lacked compartments I needed, etc. However this one is amazing! It's big enough to carry everything I need including my laptop, a change of clothes, some toiletries, my tablet and phone, and anything else I might want to take with me. Plus it has some many sections that I keep everything organized. And one of my favorite things about it is that it slides over the handle of my suitcase making it a breeze to carry with my other luggage. And aside from traveling, it's been the perfect bag to take for little day trips we take to the zoo, museum, fairs, and anywhere else my family and I like to go on a 'Family Day'. Plus it's beautiful, the material is soft and high quality, and it's easy to clean. There's only one thing and it's not really an issue, but more of a warning, and that's you have to pay attention and not put things in the one side pouch that is meant to slide over suitcase handles or you 'll end up with whatever you put in there falling right out. So overall I have to say this bag really is superb and definitely worth the cost. If you 're looking for the perfect large bag, get one of these and I promise you wo n't be disappointed!

Away Luggage sent me a Large Featherlight Tote in Amaro Brown for free in exchange for my honest feedback! Let's start with the size of this bag, I was pleasantly surprised that it was much larger than I anticipated. I could very easily fit at least a weeks worth of stuff in here and I am not a light packer by any means! This bag is high quality all around, all of the seams were done well, the straps are nice and thick, and the zippers all glided very smoothly; it feels like it will last a long time. I love that inside it has multiple different compartments and on the outside it also has the slip to sit on top of your luggage. I think this is a worthy investment piece, it should last you a long time and you wo n't have to worry about it falling apart. Even the texture of the outside of the bag is noteworthy, I spilled a little on it and it was very easy to wipe off without leaving a stain. Definitely better quality than most bags I have so I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new travel bag!

This line is exciting... I enjoy how sturdy and tough these bags are and that they can be converted into totes for extra gear, which is unlike any other bag on the market. The additional packing cube is awesome for shoes or dirty clothes. I use the 55L for fishing gear( waders, pack, boots all in one bag? heaven) and ski gear( fits boots, helmet, base layers, jacket, bibs) but love that I could easily use them for a weekend trip. The 30L is an awesome overnight bag and fits under an airplane seat as a carry on. Excited to use them on my drive through Canada and Alaska this summer!

It took a second to figure out all the straps but it definitely makes a difference with the backpack straps when you load that much in it. I love that you have the option of a shoulder bag as well which is why I got this. Like everything Peak Design makes, this will exceed your expectations. It ’s quality, and comfy, the straps work nicely, and the leather accents look great. There are multiple ways to carry it, sling it, throw it on like a backpack, or grab it on the nice leather handle with your hand. As for size, It has enough room for me pack at least for ten days. I highly recommend using packing cubes to get the best out of it. The only con is the price, but being organized on a trip and the build quality is definitely worth it. I ’ m looking forward to getting many years of use out of it.

[ I brought the Thule Chasm along for a cross- country road trip( Denver- Maryland- up to New York) and then used it as a carry- on for a flight to the Dominican Republic — and it fit everything I needed, keeping it dry and contained. The material is super sturdy and easily withstood being tossed around in and out of rental cars, overhead bins, and sandy hotel rooms. I also really like the calming color( easy to spot) and the handle design, which makes it comfortable to pull through airports or grab quickly out of a trunk. It ’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. The main zipper is durable and I like that its tucked under a flap, keeping everything weather resistant- especially nice when traveling in the tropics with frequent passing rain. Bonus, it's made from 100 percent recycled materials. This is a durable pack that's gon na last a lifetime. Hope my kids like `` pond grey ''!

This roller bag exceeded my expectations on build quality. It is relatively heavy( a good thing I think) and very well built. The wheels are large and roll very easily. The internal storage is really why I chose this over other carry- on size bags. The zippered flaps on each side makes it easy to organize and get in and out of. The soft exterior front makes sizing up or sinching down a breeze.

[ How did Influenster know I was in need of a good, quality luggage? I ’ m overly impressed of the quality of this luggage. The texture and the sturdiness feels like it can sustain a lot during your travels for a long time. It feels lightweight at only 9lbs. Very comfortable to carry. Besides how lightweight it feels, the best part of this luggage is the many compartments it has inside. There ’s even one that can hold all your toiletries without making a mess of the rest of you luggage, especially if there are clothes near it. Inside it ’s very spacious. There ’s a lot of space for multiple items including a lot of clothes with a nice number of jeans, which to me takes a lot space in the luggage. The zippers that have 2 of them has a connecting area for a lock if you need it which is nice. The expandable handle is easy to take out and even easier to get it back in it ’s almost automatic. The wheels don ’ t go sideways but to be honest is not a problem for me. Going forward is perfectly fine in my opinion. I ’ m glad I finally have a good quality luggage to take on my travels. It ’s worth it for your own peace of mind.

I never thought I would get excited about using a duffel bag, but this duffel is actually amazing. As soon as I opened it, I could tell that a lot of thought went into it. I love that it has a few pockets for organizing smaller items, and the main compartment's stiffened trusses that keep the bag open while you 're packing it is a feature that I did n't know I needed. It makes it SO much easier to pack, and now all other duffels seem lackluster and kind of annoying to use. I 'm petite, so the backpack straps( which are well padded) and the tote handles help me to more comfortably carry large loads. I 'm a travel photographer, so durability is always on my mind when using any kind of luggage. This material feels quite sturdy and I can tell it 'll hold up for many, many years. Overall I 'm super psyched by this bag, and it's become my go- to.

Brad's review below prompted me to write my own review. He may have been a little confused because this bag is MORE than a duffel. I just returned from a golf/bike race and it was amazing how useful this bag is. With pockets on both the inside and outside and the packing cube( the storage bag), I was able to organize the important stuff while having a huge space in the middle. What really surprised me was the tote. I thought at first that I would never use it and it would be too hard to carry but it was the mode that preferred while moving from car to hotel, to and from the race and the size made it so easy to throw stuff in and have it readily accessible. Now that I think about it, the opening in the top is what made it so useful and easy. It has a zipper to close it but stuff stays in really well because it stands upright. The back pack straps can be stored out of the way and I feel like I would use the backpack if I had a long distance to walk, like an airport. All of this info is demonstrated really well in the video so I had no problem figuring out how to use it. This bag is very durable and seems like it would be almost waterproof. I have about 6 duffels and this one is my instant favorite. I 'll use it for travel, triathlon transition, golf travel bag, and basically anytime I need a bag for something. The `` tote '' mode is genius. This is innovation and Nemo nailed it on this one.

I just picked the 30L duffel up for upcoming international travel and a Grand Canyon rafting trip. After reading and watching so many reviews on adventure/travel duffels, these new Double Hauls have all the right standard features and then elevate above the competition with the 3 distinct modes. Having it in hand, these things are built like a tank, but are sleek enough for regular travel( if you don ’ t mind an outdoorsy vibe). I was a little worried that the 30L would be too small and didn ’ t want to jump all the way to a 55L. I despise checking luggage. Turns out you can fill this almost to the brim, then cinch down the interior luggage straps over your gear and compress the whole thing with the exterior side buckles. Amazing. The stiffeners really do work to keep the bag open/structured. The backpack straps are comfortable and stay out of the way when in tote mode. The tote carry handles are a good size and snap together well. Pockets are minimal, but a good size. And the storage bag/packing cube is a brilliant touch when attached inside the bag for more organization. The only thing I would improve so far are the tote carry handles. They ’ re uncomfortable on my shoulder. A traditional padded handle wrap would be an easy fix. And/or adding in a wide shoulder strap to attach to the duffel cinch buckles.

This bag is super versatile and durable. I use it as my diaper bag/purse/gym bag/carryall. It fits my skates, my daughters skates and all our winter gear. Can stay outside in the snow because it ’s waterproof which is perfect. Comfortable straps on your shoulder no matter which way you wear it and weight in bag. We recently brought it to the beach. I was a little skeptical at 1st when it came to the different `` modes '' but boy was I wrong. I thought the tote mode would be just gimmicky but its the mode that Ive used the most so far! I got the 30L and it is HUGE. It's easy to just throw anything inside the bag when you have it in tote mode and just go. Its nice when you 're not so worried about having it organized and just hauling stuff and leaving it in the car such as putting my ski gear inside. But when I took it on a flight, it packs as nicely when I started using packing cubes and carried it like a bag pack. I had 4 days worth of clothes and it still has an insane amount of space left( not sure if I 'm just a minimalist). Either way, I 'm gon na abuse this duffel. It's a go to now for any `` hauls ''. It's gon na compliment a smaller carryon bagpack.
