I like the fact the I can wear these pants in cooler months without having to add layer to them since they have the fleece lining in them. [ I could n't wait to wear this jacket once the weather got cooler in Texas. The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. Unlike some puff jackets, they can be very heavy and bulky. The jacket is ideal for 35+ degree weather or a little under if you layer well underneath. Also, keep in mind my 35- degree weather may feel warmer to others who live in areas that get lots of snow and wind. I have n't had the chance to wash it, but the material seems like it will hold up well in a normal wash cycle. I think I may have needed to go to a smaller size, I had plenty of space in the jacket zipped.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.
