You can put this under any jersey or uniform to keep warm. Do n't mess around with the cheap ones you can find at other online retailers. They 're real thin and do n't add much thermal support. Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.
