Great jacket, not thick and bulky but sturdy, ca n't wait to break it in. I 'm 5' 7 '' 130 lbs and ordered a small, was n't sure how it would fit since I would normally go for a medium in jackets, but saw this was loose fit and have heard Carhartt run large. The sleeves of the small were good but I was absolutely drowning in the rest of it so got an extra small, and it was a much better fit! When I tried it on with a sweatshirt underneath, the sleeves of the extra small were a touch tight when bending my elbows, but I think it will break in just fine. Great jacket, hope this can help folks with sizing. Did n't have any trouble with the zipper the way other people have described, it's a big metal double zipper and takes a little effort but nothing crazy.

This coat is warm! I 'm in northeastern ohio and this will be good for the colder days of winter and for skiing. I actually got too hot while wearing it in the grocery store. I like the color and the overall look. The sleeves are much too long for me( I can often wear petite), but at the same time I had to go to a size for it to fit my hips. So, this is all to say that I wish it was smaller on top and bigger on bottom rather than a straight fit.

Yes, this is a cropped boxy fit and runs a bit big. As long as you know that going into the purchase you won ’ t be disappointed. It ’s a FP dupe and a pretty good one( better than ones I found on Amazon). I am usually between a S and M and will often go with M in items like this to layer. But after reading reviews, I went with a S and I ’ m very happy. I can still layer under it but it ’s not too long, the sleeves are perfect and it ’s just baggy enough to be cute. I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ” and 145 for reference. I got the green and I like it but be warned it ’s a color that changes drastically depending on the light. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter and sometimes it pulls blue and almost looks teal. I ’ m considering buying in a second color because so far it has felt pretty warm and comfy to me.

First off, the product does not have a hood& the cuffs/hood/hem do not have cinch capability. That being said I love this! The hem is shorter in front, longer in back. I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I 'm 5' 1 '' and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you 're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.

I LOVE this jacket. I do wish the hip area was more boxy and had a synch cord. It can be a bit tight on the hips even tough I sized up. I really like that the powder skirt is removable to get rib of the added bulk. I wish there was an outer chest pocket. The wrist cuffs are a bit bulky. I wore this jacket in the rocky mountains and it was very warm. It was 30 some degrees with high winds and snowing and I was perfectly protected. The hood is also very warm and big. The jacket is also cute and flattering and covers your butt so if you fall in the snow you do n't get wet. I LOVE this jacket.

[ Got a medium and its still pretty large- im usually a size 8- 10 and am 5 ’ 2 ”, so knew it would be a little long. it is quite roomy but not so big that i needed to return it. Id try sizing down even more but its not worth the effort. I do love how light it is.

I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

I wore this coat nearly every day over the past winter. I live in the Rockies near Aspen, and it kept me protected from the wind and very warm even on frequent, negative- temp days. The hood is large and fits easily over a beanie without my having to shrug my shoulders to keep it on. Bottom hem hits below my knees( I 'm 5' 5 ''), and zips up easily over my big booty and thighs! Quality zipper. Sleeves are a good length. Large pockets that can fit my hands, phone, whatever else; there's an inside chest pocket as well. The material is soft and matte black, no shine and no crinkly noise when I move. Due to the nice texture of the material, though, there is consistently dog hair clinging to it, lol. A crappy lint roller can get that job done just fine. Dust brushes off easily, so I rarely need to spot clean. Highly, highly recommend.

Bought the parka for my wife and she was thrilled! She is hard to please, but this did the trick. The parka is long enough to cover her hips( she has SI joint pain, so keeping them warm is critical) and was super comfy. The parka was perfect for taking the dogs out for their walk in the winter. It may be a bit much for more strenuous activities given the volume.

I absolutely love my new rain jacket. I no longer have to be wet when cleaning my pasture at the stables. The raincoat is very pretty, so I can wear it with my good clothes also.
