I purchased both the Max Lace Up and Max Skyline styles, and Skyline is the winner by far. It has lightweight, quality construction and quality materials. Skyline also has a proper papped tongue, unlike Lace Up. Excellent stability at the ankles, Vionic- level arch support and a cushioned heel. Round, fabric eyes make them easy to lace and unlace, unlike Lace Up. A little bulky, and warm on foot, but not too bad. Final verdict: Lace Up and Skyline share the same price point, but Skyline is the definitely superior shoe.

Like all my other Vionics( of which there have been many over many years!) the toe box is roomy. Love the wide fit and their arch support! The colors of this shoe really caught my eye. I had heal surgery 30 years ago and suffer from plantar fasciitis. These shoes support my feet well and keep that inflammation at bay. I am able to stand and walk, for exercise and daily activities, without any issues. This style is very lightweight, too, even lighter than the Walk 2. 0. The sole ’s heel is a bit different than the Walk 2. 0 and when walking it impacts on the heel differently. It feels a bit like rocking.

Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

The soles of the Rykas I received were dirty and the right shoe toe was creased, obvious signs of wear. It would have been nice if that information was made known online before purchase and the price discounted giving the customer a choice. I returned them to my local Dick ’s pointing out the usage as my reason for returning. The clerk was polite but could only me a$ 20 coupon after spending$ 100. I ended up finding the same shoes elsewhere and at a lower price.

Ran in these for a couple of weeks now and they are amazing. I just started back running after an injury and was researching a wide toe box shoe. These feel like my old school hoka's before they started making their shoes too narrow. I am now 100% an Altra fan. I have no foot, ankle, and leg fatigue and they are super cushioning. The upper is made of a nice fabric that requires no break- in period. The shoe is classified as a walking shoe and I can see why. I can wear this pair throughout the day and it wo n't hurt my feet. It took a little bit of time to get used to because of the shape of the midsole. It provides a rocking effect so it might feel weird to anyone who has n't experienced that before. However, that goes away really fast. I think it's a perfect for anyone that needs an all black pair for jobs that require long periods of standing. The outsole seems very durable so far and it 'll probably make for a long life of the shoe. The cushioning is n't made of Nike's top of the line foams, but it feels very soft. It's comparable to other Nike cushioning systems. You also ca n't beat the price range. I appreciate that it's part of the Move to Zero program as well.

[ The shoes are LIGHT weight. I could barely tell I was wearing them. The materials feel solid, like a well built shoe. I have a slightly wider foot and the shoes had plenty of space. I like the shape of the sole, not too flat and not overly curved. The color scheme is a little plain and I 'm not a huge fan of solid gray but color has no real impact my evaluation. As far as support goes, the sole is cushioned nicely. Its not overly soft but also not super stiff, probably more on the soft side.

I 'm usually standing in one place and shifting my weight back and forth. It has caused me foot problems. The RS Walking Sneaker is nice looking and very comfortable. I got the B& W and thought they were white but they ’ re more of an off white. I just moved, still moving boxes around, and up and down stairs, etc. It ’s all me, no help. In addition, I do HIIT 4- 5 days a week. My lower back has been so achy and tired. I bought these shoes a week ago and have been wearing them to do things in the apt. History: I ’ m on my feet on hard floors for 8- hour shifts at work. My job involves a lot of movement, walking, and standing. I ’ ve gone through so many pairs of shoes trying to find some that give me the support I need. Even among APMA- approved shoes, I ’ ve had a lot that didn ’ t measure up. They fit weird, the support wore down too fast, and they still required some additional insoles! And my feet still hurt. All the time. DEVOTED: Are there magic springs inside?? These almost propel you by themselves. They ’ re lightweight, comfortable, SUPPORTIVE, and won ’ t cause foot pain! They are my only pair of shoes I haven ’ t stuffed a separate insole into. They ’ re excellent. Having properly supportive shoes helps the rest of my body to be able to perform my duties without misery. The fit: Perfect length and width. The “ these run big ” bit seems to come from the ample height. There ’s plenty of room for swollen feet, thick socks, or whatever your feet desire. I have no squished toes, but my feet aren ’ t sliding around. They aren ’ t designed to be worn without socks. If I had ordered down, they wouldn ’ t be quite long enough. To Ryka: well done! These are fantastic. I hope they hold up to the heavy use I ’ ll be putting them through, but they are the BEST shoes I have ever worn. Loads more colors, please! Thank you! My feet are happy. It ’s my day off and I want my work shoes on because they feel like heaven.

I wore these everyday of the 2 week trip and couldn ’ t be happier. If you have ever visited Europe, you will know that a good portion of their streets and sidewalks are uneven stones but these sandals held up to the challenge. My feet and ankles were safely and securely strapped in. The gold leather were also a prettier version of the typical brown leather sandals most people wear. One comment…. the strap that goes around the ankle is quite long and the Velcro almost misses connecting. It ’s fine if you have thicker ankles but if yours are very thin, it could be a problem.

These are my first pair of Adidas running shoes ever. I got a pair from the Boston shoe line. As I heard they ’ re built for long- distance runs. From my experience with them for the last few months. They ’ re exactly meant for that. The shoes have nice cushioning and are responsive. The first thing you notice is that the shoes are very light. Despite being light, the shoes are incredibly durable. I have run over hundreds of miles in them, and they show no signs of wear and tear. I also used them to run in snowy or wet conditions, and they still perform well in them. The fit is slightly on the tighter side, but I still recommend ordering true to size. I would highly recommend them.
