The name is misleading I have a work related back injury and thought this was a apparatus for the spine when it is actually a core apparatus after it arrived I immediately watched the DVD to see how I was going to correct my spine and the secret is abdominal training core strengthening exercises. I am a beginner with little to no core strength so I have n't really got to use this correctly but, I can review the product construction: It is made from solid wood on the exterior, the interior looks to be veneered plywood and pine slats, this is covered with a polyurethane foam 100% then upholstered in a vinyl nylon fabric, to me it feels more like plastic then leather, all the handles are cast aluminum and the strap nylon. It is very solid I weigh 200+ pounds so it creaked when I sat on it. I did a couple exercises and realized I 'm not ready for this but can work up to it. as for the questions that follow I do n't have any friends or colleagues I 'm an injured worker with a work related injury all alone.

Only three exercises, one of which does the same thing as a Roman Chair, which is crucial for the lower back; it is called Hyper Extension. If you can not do this for your lower back, those discs will get worst than they are. If you can not do this at least twice a week, skip it.

I used to use a 1 inch pipe in the rafters of my garage to do pullups and then I saw this product. I bought it and what a difference. There are all kinds of variations of pull ups and chin ups you can do as well as dips, leg lifts and plyo jumps. The fortress is well build and well worth the money.

Notice that the seat is only flat, it can ’ t tilt when the back does. This matters if you ’ re going to have a heavy barbell doing incline bench, because you ’ d tend to slide down the bench under the weight. There ’s also a gap between the seat and back when the back isn ’ t upright. If that ’s uncomfortable, you can put a rolled up towel in it. Assemble it right and you ’ ll find it ’s a sturdy, lightweight bench.

I 've not tried the smaller collar over standard bars, but at least it's an option. Personally, I feel the price for this particular item was a bit high. From my research it was comparable to commercial bars of greater thickness and weight capacity. However, this was readily available and in stock from Dick's, so that became the selling point for me. I would recommend the bar to others, but I would suggest to see if it goes on sale or if a coupon becomes available before purchasing at full price.

It was shipped quickly and the quality is amazing. I think going for the BOSU rather than knock off is really worth it. These are very sturdy and will last a long time. I had to return product. It was ordered twice and both times the box was damaged and missing parts( pump and booklet). I reached out to BOSU and was told that Dicks has an old picture of product and some of those items no longer come with product. It was false advertising from Dicks!
