This little light puts out just enough light to be fun and eliminate the need for a regular full light that would attract bugs easier. My only wish is that you could order a longer one. I am going to order 2 more because I am putting this on the edge of the patio umbrella and 1 only does about a 1/3 of it at the edge. 2 more will offer a bit more light as well. After much trial and error, I have found that the Moji Lantern is the best overall for use in the Boundary Waters- they are rouged and have found that they stand up to a high water/wet environment. I bought one of these Nite Ize LED balls a long, long time ago. Like, when they first made their debut on display at the store I had to have one. I could tell right away that these balls were in a category unto themselves. I was right too. I have tried every light- up ball. Seriously. Most only stay lit for about 30 seconds after the ball is still. This does n't help me find my forgetful dog's ball in the tall grass at the dog park in the dark. This stays lit. For a long time. Long enough to ask your dog 10 times where the ball is, then tromp through the grass to find it. And you will find it, because it is bright. Not blinding, but really lit up. The battery inside is secure. Really secure. And you can replace the battery. Most light up balls are `` once the battery goes out you throw the ball away ''. And this ball bounces. There are some rechargeable balls out there. But it's like throwing a rock because those rechargeable balls are so heavy they do n't bounce. My dog wants the ball to bounce. And they float. And it's a good size, my small dog likes it and so do bigger dogs, it's `` medium '' sized. So 1) It stays lit and the light is bright 2) It actually bounces 3) It floats 4) You can replace the battery 4) The battery inside is secure. 5) It's small enough for small dogs and big enough for big dogs. This is the ONLY light up ball that does those 5 things. And it comes in `` disco ''- it cycles through all the colors which is awesome. Literally every dog in the park wants this ball. My dog carries it around so proudly it is hilarious. This ball is the best out there.

I 'd heard of Nebo tools on a Christian radio station, but never used any. I needed a new flashlight, and was wandering through a sporting goods store and stumbled across the flashlight section. At first I thought they were a little expensive, but then the idea of never having to buy batteries for a flashlight to hold. I choose the DAVINCI 1800L, and thought it ca n't be that bright. Boy was I wrong! I 'm amazed at the brilliance, and the epileptic inducing strobe. I do food delivery at night, so the strobe will come in handy should I need it. [ When I first saw this headlamp, I was a little confused at why the front was so small( I am used to a decent sized headlamp at the front) but they made it to where all of the weight is on the rear of the headstrap so that the headlamp doesnt leave a HUGE imprint on your head after you take it off. There are 4 brightness levels including a red light mode as well to help with bugs while being outside. Overall I highly recommend this! I used it to find some tools in my tool chest at night. Very bright and comes in handy! 10/10

I ’ ve always been a bit of a flashlight guy. As a kid I cost my dad a small fortune in D cells running down his baseball bat sized Maglite. I ’ ve been through more headlamps than I can count over the years. I picked up this particular one a few months ago and I have to say it has been by far the best headlamp I ’ ve ever had. The door fuel capability comes in handy, and the functions on this light are super useful and navigable. It ’s great to having the brightness memory as well as the powertap feature to be able to instantly switch to max and back. One feature that stands out is the way each mode dims/brightens. I haven ’ t seen that on a light before. It also seems a lot brighter than 450 lumens at max. If you ’ re looking for a good reliable headlamp I truly don ’ t think in any way you could go wrong with these. Hope this helps

Having used many headlamps over the years—including the original Black Diamond Icon and all its upgrades—I can confidently say the Black Diamond Distant Headlamp stands out as a top- tier option. It ’s brighter and more versatile than most, with adjustable lighting modes and easy dimming to conserve battery life. The rugged, weatherproof design feels well- made, and I ’ m hoping the headband holds up better than previous models, where the straps failed too quickly. [ This thing SAVED on my last move. Packing my U- Haul took longer than expected, so it went into dark. The fact this thing is magnetic and has spot OR flood is huge. I was able to stick it to the U- Haul and had plenty of light to pack the entire truck for multiple hours on one charge. The spotlight isn ’ t kidding when it talks about its distance, I can light up the house at the end of the block and then some. It ’s nice it also has a low red light so you don ’ t have to obliterate your night vision if you need just a little light. The switch on the back allows you to change modes without even turning it on, and the pocket catch allows you to hang it off your pants while you work if you don ’ t need it. I ’ ve carried a flashlight with me every single day since 2011, and although it ’s far to big to be EDC, when you ’ re doing work, or camping or need a proper light, I ’ ll be buying a couple more of these to keep in my go bag, and my car as well! The white lights do a great job of outlining the board and hole to play at night without any other ambient area lighting. Do n't think you 'll be able to see anything with the other lights
