Love the color, the fit, the light weight, the cushioning, everything. My not so positive comment of this review is for Dick ’s online. The soles of the Rykas I received were dirty and the right shoe toe was creased, obvious signs of wear. It would have been nice if that information was made known online before purchase and the price discounted giving the customer a choice. I returned them to my local Dick ’s pointing out the usage as my reason for returning. The clerk was polite but could only me a$ 20 coupon after spending$ 100. I ended up finding the same shoes elsewhere and at a lower price.

I ordered the Merrell for the first time in years. I usually need a wide shoe but occasionally can get by with ordering a 1/2 size up in a regular width. The trouble is knowing whether I was going to be an 8. 5 or a 9 in the Merrell shoe. This 9 Merrell still fits a bit too snug for me. I also got the same pair in black in the 9 Wide and it turns out the Wide shoe will become my everyday shoe and this one will be pulled out when I need a lighter color. Very comfortable once you find the right size for yourself.

Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

I purchased both the Max Lace Up and Max Skyline styles, and Skyline is the winner by far. It has lightweight, quality construction and quality materials. Skyline also has a proper papped tongue, unlike Lace Up. Excellent stability at the ankles, Vionic- level arch support and a cushioned heel. Round, fabric eyes make them easy to lace and unlace, unlike Lace Up. A little bulky, and warm on foot, but not too bad. Final verdict: Lace Up and Skyline share the same price point, but Skyline is the definitely superior shoe.

Like all my other Vionics( of which there have been many over many years!) the toe box is roomy. Love the wide fit and their arch support! The colors of this shoe really caught my eye. I had heal surgery 30 years ago and suffer from plantar fasciitis. These shoes support my feet well and keep that inflammation at bay. I am able to stand and walk, for exercise and daily activities, without any issues. This style is very lightweight, too, even lighter than the Walk 2. 0. The sole ’s heel is a bit different than the Walk 2. 0 and when walking it impacts on the heel differently. It feels a bit like rocking.

I have been wearing the Devotion X for a few years now, but, as shoes with cushiony midsoles do n't maintain support for very long, and the turnover rate is high, I have been looking for a shoe that is, at least, more environmentally friendly. While the eco creds on this shoe are not high, they are, at least, a step in the right direction. They seem to fit and perform just as well as the Devotion X, so I 'm happy with them. I hope that Ryka will continue to develop shoes that use recycled materials, will last longer, or, better yet, can be part of a closed- loop system( reclaimed by Ryka or compostable). Ultimately, these shoes are wide enough for my toes( I ordered a wide width) and provide the cushioning and stability I need to abate my hip arthritis symptoms, while also helping me feel a bit better, environmentally, about my purchase.

I was hesitant to try the Gabby because I didn ’ t think it could compare to my beloved Walk Max — but I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely love it! Think if they went dual density, soft inner and stiffer foam in areas to make it far more stable. An orthotic helps with this. Altra make a wide in this shoe all you need to do it widen the mid foot mesh. Shoe stretcher fixes this. People with wide feet need a stability shoe. Torin 8 didn ’ t make the cut. This shoe should have 150mm laces instead of 140mm. Fits great around the ankles and before the mid foot, no pain or blistering. Got better around better in the mid foot as I stretched the shoe and it broke in over a few days.

The Hoka One One men's Bondi Sr shoe is my second pair of Hoka One One men's shoes, first recommended by my orthopedist. This recent purchase gives me two pair of Hokas so I do not need to wear the same pair two days in a row. They are supportive and very comfortable. Hoka One One has moved forward over the past several years from the downright ugly shoes I first purchased to today's styles. The down side to the shoes is that they are borderline clown shoes-- big in the forward( toe) section, not svelte.

[ The shoes are LIGHT weight. I could barely tell I was wearing them. The materials feel solid, like a well built shoe. I have a slightly wider foot and the shoes had plenty of space. I like the shape of the sole, not too flat and not overly curved. The color scheme is a little plain and I 'm not a huge fan of solid gray but color has no real impact my evaluation. As far as support goes, the sole is cushioned nicely. Its not overly soft but also not super stiff, probably more on the soft side.

[ I am an active mom that runs and walks on a daily basis. My running is mostly on a treadmill but I am constantly walking during the day, miles at a time. Because of this active lifestyle I need a shoe that is comfortable and supportive. The comfort this shoe provides gives me just that. The Ariel GTS 26 feel like you are walking/bouncing on air. The Ariel GTS 26 minimize the impact of my foot when hitting the floor, which for me has helped my feet and knees. I have noticed the difference at the end of the day because my feet don ’ t hurt or feel sore. I do think the shoe itself runs a little small in terms of the length so I would probably size up a half size if I ran outside in them. I wear these shoes everyday for about 80% of the day and can ’ t imagine wearing any other shoe. They are not only comfortable but also stylish. The gray color is a great shade that pairs well with the pink. They are easy to take on and off and the traction on them are great specifically when walking down hill. The toe box on the front of the shoe helps your foot stay in place without letting your foot slide forward while also giving you a good grip to the floor when walking and running on uneven ground. Overall I would give the Ariel GTS 26 a 10 out of 10 because they have improved my everyday needs.

[ I ’ ve worn the Ariel GTS 26 shoes for about a week now, and they felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. I took my dogs for a long walk and kept waiting for that usual “ new shoe ” feeling, but it never happened. No blisters or tightness. They felt broken in from the start. As a runner, the nitrogen- infused cushioning feels soft enough to make pavement miles easier, but not so soft that I feel unsteady. The fit has been really easy. There ’s enough room in the toe box, but the shoe still feels secure and doesn ’ t slip around. Even after a couple of three mile runs, my legs felt good, which isn ’ t always the case. I ’ ve worn the shoes on sidewalks and through wet grass and feel like they have really good traction. Also, the heel pull tab is one of those little things I didn ’ t think much about at first, but I ’ ve ended up using it a lot, especially when I ’ m rushing out the door. What ’s been nice is that they don ’ t just feel good, they actually look good too. A couple of my friends have already commented on how cute they are. I ’ ve worn them with workout clothes, jeans, and leggings, and they literally go with everything. I like that I can go for my runs in the morning and just keep them on the rest of the day. I ’ m already planning to bring them on an upcoming vacation to a theme park because I know I ’ ll be walking all day, and these shoes are going to be perfect for that. I love the color combination of oyster mushroom, alloy, and pink, or as I would like to call it, cream, grey, and pink. The GTS 26 is great for running, walking, or just running everyday errands. The enhanced DNA cushioning is absolutely remarkable. It feels like you 're gliding on supportive clouds with every stride. It has the perfect balance of softness and protection for my feet. The GuideRails support technology is a game- changer for my joints. During my long runs, other shoes would make my feet hurt, and my knees and lower back would throb and ache. This tech gently guides my foot through its natural motion, reducing excess movement that causes strain. My body was n't screaming in pain after running in these shoes. The RoadTack rubber outsole really grips the pavement. I went on a run and it started to rain lightly. The traction is amazing, and I felt secure with every stride. Now I do n't have to worry about slipping and falling. The engineered mesh helps your feet breathe. Some shoes make my feet sweat, but my feet felt comfortable and had a snug fit that never felt restrictive or made my feet sweat. The broad base and 10mm drop really helped to reduce pressure on my heel and calf, especially when I wore the shoes all day at work and later on when I went on my run or walk. I sometimes have issues with my feet and legs cramping after a run, but I did n't experience any cramps after wearing these shoes. I 'm looking forward to buying this shoe in other colors. Brooks has definitely created a supportive shoe that performs way better than some of the other shoes I wear.

I LOVE my Ariel GTS 23 ’s as they are the only shoe that feels stable for my weak ankle& doesn ’ t hurt my feet after being on them all day long! I recently went shopping for a new pair, because mine are almost 2 years old( I know, it ’s beyond time to upgrade). Brooks, can we get some better color options?? A nice white on white would be perfect! I ended up going with some Ariel GTS 24 ’s with a more neutral colorway, but I would ’ ve loved to get the 26 ’s in all white or even a neutral that doesn ’ t have purple on it.

My only complaint is the elastic laces which bothered my instep. I switched to regular laces and they are fine.
