I 've used just about every Jetboil system over the last 9 years and I keep coming back to the MicroMo for my solo adventures. It's compact and fast like the flagship Flash and Zip systems, but with the regulator that opens up a whole new world of uses for me. I can dial in the flame to simmer noodles when I do n't want a rolling boil, and I can use it well into the winter without the changing fuel pressure of an unregulated system. If you 're looking for something as compact and efficient as the Zip but with some extra features, the MicroMo should be top of your list.

I take this on every trip into the woods, it's easy to use, has the ignitor built in so no searching for a way to light it. Boils water rapidly and efficiently. Wrapped in neoprene to keep your hands safe. Comes with a couple extras, one to help keep it stable, and another to turn it into a camp stove. When you think of camping, backpacking, or survival, you should be thinking of water and food. I have multiple of the JetBoils in my various kit bags. Backpacking for 1, for 2, my get home bag. This unit( and all of the various units they make) accomplish so much in a self- contained package. For the features, it is relatively light( it will never win the “ ultralight ” challenge of a simple pocket rocket, etc) but it is your water boiler, it is your eating vessel, it contains and protects the heating element, you can pack your fuel in there. If you want an easy to use, well know and tried and trued package- the JetBoil line accomplishes a lot!

I used this camping in the high country of Northern CA, or the snowy mountains of CO, as well as driving around scouting and glassing. I was not very easy on it. It would live in my pack or in my truck, getting tossed around and having things fall on it or just bouncing around while driving down not well maintained dirt road. It still works like the day I pulled it out of the box. Striker still works great. Lid stays on. I have not found a reason for the orange stand that comes with it. I have been using the fuel can as the stand.

I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. Awesome. I use this on every backpacking trip. It is definitely big, but if you 're cooking for multiple people having the space is well worth it. I will use the cup to mix up food and stuff in( some people are more purists and only ever allow water in their jetboil) but using it to actually mix stuff up means you do n't have to pack extra pots and pans which is a big plus. And it is big enough to stick your fuel cans and stove and utensils, etc. inside. And having the measuring markers makes it even more useful too. Great workhorse.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

[ This actually comes double boxed which I really like because it protects the product. It is very heavy because of the pot being cast iron. The pot is a 5 gallon cast iron with feet and it's pre- seasoned which is awesome. It also has an aluminum lid to cover the pot. The frame of the pot you bought together so it's provides extra sturdiness for the cooker. It's heated by using a propane tank. This is awesome for tailgating or for camping because even though it's called the jambalaya pot you can virtually cook tons of stuff in this like chili or soups or do a fish fry. This smoker adds the extra smoke I was looking for on my meat. I smoked a few pork butts and they all turned out amazing. The smoke ring was awesome. The meat was tender and juicy. The room in this smoker is twice the space I had on my MZG 24 smoker. The temperature stayed consistent and was always within 3- 5 degrees off set temperature. The vertical chamber is great for not losing heat. When I would open the lid to my MZG 24 smoker, the temperature would drop ten degrees or more. I do n't get but a couple degree drop when I open the door to the XXL Pro. Probably due to the vertical design. I would say the smoke box is also great addition to adding extra smoke at whatever level you desire. The Wi- Fi, blue tooth controller works well. I really like this smoker.

My XXL has been in use now for several months. There no significant issues with assembly. The door fits and swings well and easily. The temperature controller works as advertised. The smoke box does the job easily and neatly. Pork Butts, Pork Ribs, Chicken, Turkey, Beef of various cuts have all turned out delicious. It is supremely easy to use. The wheels make it easy to move around, thought the legs tend to vibrate and chatter a bit on uneven pavement. The pellet hopper is huge and easy to fill and monitor. Even the WiFi connection/controller works well. Nice unit.

Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

So it's been 2 months and I 've been smoking like a mad Man. This was a replacement for an Oklahoma Joe's longhorn. I always smoked with pure oak and it was very difficult to control the temperature. This smoker is ridiculously simple. I 've done pulled pork, homemade pastrami, ribs, and brisket. I was also very pleasantly surprised about the Wi- Fi and wireless. I was able to check the temperatures when I had to go out somewhere just in case. This is for a long smoke on a brisket is pretty handy. I also purchased the sides seer which include a ridiculously large BTU burner. That burner has been phenomenal for searing sous vide steaks in under a minute. One thing I did not initially buy was the griddle, but I ordered that and with the sides here burner it is one of the handiest griddles I 've ever used, best temperature control over the whole area. I have a high- end gas stove in the house and it's griddle does n't come close to how good the temperature control is. My one recommendation is somehow that I do n't have to throw away that shelf and use it or mount it at the bottom. You can see that I made my own modification to put that shelf instead of throwing it away to mount on the bottom.

I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. This stove is pretty easy to use and has a straight forward design. It ’s functioned well in both hot and cold weather for me multiple times. I don ’ t know if it is any more effective than a pocket rocket for most people. But if you are boiling larger pots of water for a whole group the extra support of the legs really help keep things stable. All in all I would recommend this stove it might not be the lightest but works like a charm!

Recently did a trip with some buddies in the White Mountains. We summited North and South Twin, Zealand, and Hale. It was late December so temperatures were around 20F. After letting the stove heat up for about a minute, I flipped the canister upside down to put it in four season mode. I do n't remember how long it took to boil my water but our elevation was about 4600' and it did n't feel very long. The stove was even so compact that I fit it into my 1L pot, along with a small rag and my zippo. I 've only used it in the field a handful of times but the thing seems bombproof. I even spilled a bunch of water on it and after lighting it again, it only took a few seconds to clear the water and work normally again. Definitely recommend!

Just have to make sure grill grate is ajustable to different heights. I do wish it came with a canvas bag. Some heat resistant gloves are recommended as it can get pretty hot when trying to move it. I ’ ve had my griddle for a year and used about twice a month and my top has absolutely no deterioration or excessive wear. The griddle has never seen any metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning products or tools. I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. So there is a learning curve but seriously we LOVE our pizza oven. It ’s truly an asset to our patio and life. We have both the one for the stand and the one for the fire pit. Both are equally as fabulous although my husband seems to like the wood fired taste better! Bravo Solo you did it again!

[ I have a Bonfire fireplace and love it. Friends got a Pizzell pizza stove and it was not great. So when it was time for a pizza oven I got the solo stove. It is amazing. Very sturdy. Friends who own a sub shop came to the house and they made pizzas for us and they were amazed. Said it cooks like their big ovens. I have done pizza, shrimp, vegetables and steak and all turned out perfect. Love this oven. If you want a pizza oven this is the best and only choice.

Awesome cook stove and extremely dependable. The Genesis is like the gold standard cook set that all others are compared against. It costs more but you get so much more in durability, adjustability of flame, fuel efficiency etc. Not a hiking cook set but works in all other arenas.

The Genesis system is one of my best kitchen items. I have both the basecamp( 2 burner) and the single system. Absolutely never fails, great click to light that lights even in high wind. The flame is extremely sensitive making high heat vs slow boil settings very accurate to cook with. It's small, lightweight and stackable. Highly recommend

I was fortunate enough to get one of these in the spring of 2022 and we got it for our camper. This grill has been amazing and has blown away everyone that has tasted the food we have cooked on it. I have made steaks, corn on the cob, breakfast sausage, brats hot dogs, burgers, smoked hard boiled eggs, etc. and everything has come out amazing. I had a friend we were camping with recently tell me the steak we ate off of the grill was the best he's ever had. The first time we took it out was shortly after I bought it and I had n't had the opportunity to smoke it in yet, so I did it at the campsite. It created a lot of smoke and attracted a few campers. I showed them how it folded down for transportation as well as how much cooking surface there is( more sq. in. than my now retired original Jr. Traeger!). They all came back later for a taste and agreed it was amazing. 2 of the 4 campers texted me later and shared that they bought Camp Chef smokers when they returned to home to Montana and North Dakota, respectively. You wo n't regret this grill. The clips that secure the lid closed are great for transportation, and the clips that hold the hopper closed keep the rain and water and the pellets dry. Amazing grill!
