I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. I have been wearing these boots for the past five months and since day these boots have been the most comfortable boots ever. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I wish they had better grip on the bottom sole I went on a newly installed roof in a residential area which the roof material was made of some new white colored vinyl roof material and I would slide while walking to the service a HVAC package unit. These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.

These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

Great boot but I upgrade the insole. This is my second pair and im a hands on GC in Utah. I work new construction and remodels and these boots are great. I like them better than Brunt and they last. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. It's a great boot for the price. Better than my double the price Red Wings!

I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.

here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

These are very comfortable, dry and warm. I have had these boots since 2001 and they are still holding up. I worked commercial construction and these have held up to walking and climbing up and down all day. Will wash them down and then apply mink oil paste to the leather. These hold up alot better than boots costing twice as much.

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable
