I really like my new OluKai Tuahine sandals. The leather is high quality and the footbed is ergonomically molded to fit your foot perfectly. There are no painful areas you sometimes find with sandals where the strap rubs your foot funny. These sandals look really sharp and are comfortable for several hours, but they lack the cushioning to be comfortable for all day use, in my opinion. The footbed does not have much squish and is rather firm, so you 'll find your feet getting tired if worn walking about for 4+ hours. Still love these sandals. Luckily the Speedgoat 7 fixes many of my previous complaints and is a light, cushioned trail shoe that still provides a good ground feel. I have long, square shaped feet and the toe box felt slightly narrow; sizing up made the whole shoe too big, so I stuck with my traditional size and did a heel lock lace tie which helped keep the foot in place!

Recently disposed of SpeedGoat 5 after nearly two years of exercise and daily wear. SG7 seems to have the same strengths and less weaknesses as its predecessor. Loved the former for traction, comfort and durability. The latter is lighter and slightly more streamlined and nimble. After 10+ walk- jogs, I can tell that these are worth every penny I paid. Should probably be hunting another pair in my rare size

[ 4 stars because walk in these on a camber makes the sides dig into my ankles. Maybe that will get softer as they get worn in... I should be riding not walking anyway! Walking grip is decent though and the shoes flex a good amount to not feel like you 're wearing flippers. Sizing is dead on and same as my flat freeride pro shoes. Super comfortable and the BOA is a god send. Never used boa before and want all my shoes with it. So easy to tighten them EXACTLY how I want and even easier to just pop them off with the other foot. They are very airy compared to the freeride shoes and probably best for summer riding but quick enough to dry out. I use these shoes probably a little different than most. I pair them with maglock magnetic pedals and the flat soles make grip really nice. The front pins do n't touch but they arnt needed with the grip I currently have. Only draw back for anyone else who uses maglock pedals, the cleat cutouts are tapered in the back and interfere a little with the plate bolts. I may cut some of that out and see how it works to give just a little extra room but happy as is for now. Happy with the purchase!
