Very nice lightweight( Merrell calls light- hiking) shoe with a lug sole that compares with a moderate or full hiking shoe. Sole not as stiff as heavier duty hikers but does the job well for me in moderate to difficult trails.

I hike in a local park with my lab about 6 miles 4- 5 days a week. Merrels are my go to. These are very comfortable and sturdy shoes. We recently had 8 '' of snow and took them out for a hike. My feet stayed warm and dry through the whole 6 miles. Great hikers!

Recently purchased these as a light hiker for dog walks on trails. I have a couple of foot issues that require a wider toe box and these delivered. I find them to be comfortable, roomy in the toe box but still snug around the heel to prevent slippage. They also fit my custom orthotics perfectly. I have yet to notice any negatives with these shoes.

This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I 've walked trails and sidewalks in these shoes and have no foot pain and my feet stay put, no sliding in the shoe and no heel slips. Easy to clean up if they get dirty on a trail. Suggestions: wear ankle socks the first couple wears to break them in, I wore no- shows the first wear and had some uncomfortable rubbing on my achilles till about the 3rd wear.
