The vaporfly 3 was a good shoe for me but compared to the vaporfly 4, it has better stability and it ’s easier to run in slower when my legs or body needs a break. Even just walking in them feels amazing. I ’ m still glad Nike still put the phrase “ The original super shoe ” on the midsole. Nike started the super shoe genre and is still the king of that! These are really great shoes. Hands down probably the best running shoes I 've owned. I 've been suffering from ball of foot pain( metatarsalgia) under the second toe for about 8 months, and it really started to flare up within the last 1. 5 months. I tend to be a forefoot striker and typically run about 5- 7 miles when I go out. Just went on a 7 mile run with the AlphaFly Next% 2 and they really did help to neutralize the impact on the 2nd metatarsal head to the point where I felt no soreness or pain post run. Nike recommended a size 9. 5, but I ended up buying a size 11 and it fits perfect. Hope Nike continues to make shoes like this since it helped me avoid having to give up running.

Not perfect but the best racing supershoe that I ’ ve used among VF2, VF3, adizero adios, AF3. Just received VF4s but yet to run in them. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2. 5 miles but that finally subsided. Have run 2 half marathons in these- each time was PR by 4 minutes. Best thing for me is the low volume toe box. I have narrow, low volume feet. The VF3s are way too baggy in the toe box for me. These shoes do “ hoof clop ” loudly like the old tempo next% trainers. Ppl always turning their head as I come up on them🤣

All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily. I like it, usually I wear wide but they did n't make wide for this one and it is good enough room in the toe box. It also gives me a boost on height which is always a plus for someone short. Its a good running shoes and short 40 yard dash runs, probably not a perfect one for long distance like half or full marathons. Shoe laces are secured tightly to the shoes, they do n't come off easy once its tied right. The only negative thing is that the bottom of the shoes can add a rubber type material for stability when its on wet floor.
