The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I ran sub- 4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

[ I typically run around 30k a week in my local reserve. I found these shoes to be super soft and very responsive, which provides a comfortable ride on concrete pathways and on paved roads. I am a traditional 2- 4E width and it makes finding quality running shoes difficult. The better performing shoes seem to never come in wide widths. This is why I was shocked when I tried on the Boston 12. They were a little tight, but by far the widest non- wide size shoe I put on my feet. I ’ m 6 ’ 5 ” and 240, so most shoes don ’ t agree with me. They usually bottom out, but I took these on a 9 mile recovery run and my feet didn ’ t hurt at all. I bought these originally for my sons spring track season. He now uses them for Cross Country and on a soft enough surface loves them for the 5k. Loves the fit, the aggressiveness and response. Wo n't wear anything else on course. on harder surfaces puts in plugs for the spikes and instant fast flat. These are made to PR and have been worth every penny!

We have had the Adizero TYO and recently the Nike Dragonfly, and so far these seem like better spikes. More supportive, lighter and very aggressive roll. Have used them in an 800 and 1500 so far. Will also be using them for the 3200m. Interesting that no top runners use these, but will use Hoka or UA. Does n't make a lot of sense given how good these seem. I 'm not sure why Saucony does n't sponsor anyone on the track.

I ’ m a great lover of Brooks running trainers and have bought these in anticipation of an upcoming marathon. Have worn for circa 30 miles of training runs and they have been a revelation. The cushioning has greatly reduced stress on my knees. Running in these trainers feels effortless and they are so light that it hardly feels like I ’ m wearing anything on my feet! Will be re- buying another pair when the time comes for all future race days.

These shoes fit like gloves from the start. The comfort around the foot and space for my toes were perfect. The cushioning was spot on and every time I ’ ve used them so far I ’ ve been quicker with a 5km, 10km and 20km PR. I would highly recommend these shoes if you have a neutral gait like I do!

I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

I have been running in Glycerins or similar Brooks for 6 years, these are completely different and Amazing. It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. They also like a high speed to feel natural, anything faster than a 8: 00 min mile and they really start to do what they were made to do- the shoe Becomes more efficient at higher speeds.

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..

This is a fantastic boot! I never liked Nike ’s other boots and usually went with Rockys or Salomons, but these really surprised me. I ’ ve put them through two years of hard wear, including two deployments. They ’ re great for field work, and surprisingly, they can handle the “ intense ” conditions of office life too( perfect for all you back office people who think walking to the water cooler is a workout!). The only reason I needed a new pair is because my dog chewed one up, so they ’ re not dog- proof—go figure. All in all, an excellent boot. Nice job, Nike!

I purchased my Cloudmonster 2 shoes as an introduction to the On brand, along with the Cloudswift 4 ’s. I have to say these Cloudmonster 2 shoes are in fact livid to their name. Running in these as a larger person is very comfortable and effortless, allowing quicker paces to be achieved without fatigue, while wearing as a daily shoe is very comforting and damping. I ’ m overall very satisfied, and only have a minor concern to wear on the sole long term. I run 3- 10 miles a week in either an outdoor pavement environment or on the treadmill, for a month of daily use these have held out very well so far. I feel great about this product and if it doesn ’ t hold well, On has great customer support and warranty to resolve any issue. I would highly recommend stop browsing and pick up a pair of these, I don ’ t have any greater recommendation for such a great daily& running shoe!

4th and last pair of Pro3 ’s sadly. Love this shoe!! Pity it ’s gone out of production. Just works, outsole lasts, i( 86kg) get 600km+, great bounce, “ toe off ” and snug feel. You just need to work out the bottom lace fit/ looseness else it can rub on big toe knuckle if too tight. Top race day shoe, not much in it between this and other “ super shoes ”. This outsole just lasts longer. Onto Pro4 ’s, which look great but sadly sound bit softer, less mileage outsole and not getting amazing reviews atm from mates. C'est la vie
