Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I bought my Rough& Tough IR's almost 5 years ago and while I dont wear them often they have only aged like a fine wine. If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.

I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. That ’s jumping on shovels, kicking stuff, underwater, asphalt and so forth… as well as the Natural gas field and seems to hold up better without constant water lol i ’ ve bought up to 6 pairs in a yr bcuz all the OT I was working, but i say all this to say i never had more compliments then this boot and i ’ ve worn every brand, the quality of leather is the best and i can walk in them all day. I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore.
