I ’ ve hiked all my life and have tried many different brands of hikers. This is the second pair of this style shoe I ’ ve purchased. I hike daily in the Sonoran Desert all year around. These hikers are breathable and the vibram sole is ideal for the terrain. They are true to size and I ’ ll be buying these until I can no longer hike or Merrel quits making these hikers. Thank you.

Bought these in store, usually an 8. 5 but ended up getting an 8 and they fit perfectly. Really happy with them went out for about an hour walk with my dog and no breaking in required.

Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

Do n't do any hiking but the shoes are great. I 've been wearing Merrells for years. My wife had me try Skeetchers for the slip on feature but I do that just fine with my Merrells
