I was in the market for a no lace, low cut outdoor shoe. This Merrell shoe is comfortable and true to size. It is said to be waterproof, but I have not been able to test that out yet. Build quality appears to be excellent. I like the ease of putting on the shoe. The bottom tread is an upgrade to my older Merrell shoes of a similar style.

I have four older pairs of Merrel slip ons that are all worn out and hurt my feet, but I keep them because I live in a woods, and they get muddy so I have to leave them in the garage and wear a clean pair in the house. This pair of Moabs however, are a perfect fit and are super comfortable. They 're so nice, I do n't want to get them dirty.

These are my go to for hiking/walking shoes. Very good support. I like the low profile since these are more of athletic shores for my long walks. Regular walking shoes don ’ t provide me with enough support.

[ I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Merrell Women's Moab Speed 2 hiking shoes, and I must say, they are a delightful addition to any outdoor enthusiast's gear collection. As someone who received these shoes for free from Influenster and Merrell for review purposes, I was pleasantly surprised by their performance. First off, let's talk about comfort. From the moment I slipped these shoes on, I could feel the difference. The 30% increase in foam underfoot truly makes a noticeable impact. Whether you 're tackling a moderate trail or simply running errands around town, these shoes provide the comfort you need. After a day of running errands and exploring, my feet stayed cool and comfy in the Merrell Women's Moab Speed 2 shoes. The material lets in enough air, so even on a busy day, my feet did n't feel hot or uncomfortable. In terms of style, the Peach color option is not only lovely but also adds a fun pop to your outdoor attire. When it comes to fit, it's important to note that these shoes run slightly larger compared to brands like Nike. I recommend going down half a size, as I ’ m usually a US 7. 5 but got US 7 and it fit perfectly.

[ Where do I begin? I 've been searching for a comfy exercising shoes. They 're very lightweight and super well fitting. I do have wider feet, so having an extra half size up would be better! Because they 're so lightweight they are also cooling to my feet, and I feel like I can wear them all day!

Purchase this second pair of Merrell hiking shoe for hiking the Camino De Santiago in Spain. The shoe is very lite and does n't add much weight, which makes it great for International travel. As with any good hiking shoe, you must pair it with a good pair of wool socks. Buen Camino!

Most comfortable shoes ever. Hiked Cusco, Peru and the Galapagos.
Low-cut hiking shoes offer increased mobility and flexibility, making them ideal for day hikes and light trails. They typically provide a closer ground feel, which can enhance your balance and stability on uneven surfaces. Additionally, they are often lighter than mid or high-top options, making them a great choice for those looking to minimize weight on their feet.
When selecting low hiking shoes, consider features such as waterproofing, breathability, and traction. Look for shoes with durable outsoles that provide good grip on various terrains. Additionally, cushioning and support are important for comfort during long hikes, so pay attention to the midsole materials used in the shoes.
Low hiking shoes can be suitable for a variety of terrains, but their effectiveness may vary depending on the specific design and features. They are typically best for well-maintained trails, light off-trail hiking, and urban environments. For more rugged or technical terrains, you may want to consider shoes with additional ankle support.
Low hiking shoes generally provide greater freedom of movement and are lighter than mid or high-top options. However, they may offer less ankle support and protection, which can be a consideration for more challenging hikes. Mid and high-top shoes are often preferred for rougher terrains where additional support and protection are needed.
Low hiking shoes are often made from a combination of synthetic materials and leather, providing a balance of durability and breathability. Many feature waterproof membranes to keep feet dry in wet conditions, while mesh panels can enhance ventilation. The choice of materials can affect the shoe's weight, comfort, and overall performance.
