Do n't do any hiking but the shoes are great. I 've been wearing Merrells for years. My wife had me try Skeetchers for the slip on feature but I do that just fine with my Merrells

Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

These shoes are very sturdy yet comfortable. Not one hot spot or blister from day one. Have n't been out in the rain with them yet but hopefully they will be waterproof as advertised. Great tread on them too. Would recommend.
