I ’ ve had these for about 3 months now and I must say they ’ re my favorite boots to wear for work or going out. They look great, feel perfect, and are so easy to get on or off. The only thing is I feel so nervous about ruining them because of how much I like the look of them. It ’s made of Nubuck leather so you have to be careful about water damaging the leather, they ’ re not water proof! Be prepared to have a kit to clean these boots every once in a while and keep the material from getting ruined.

I bought these 3- 4 years ago. I 've had them resoled twice, i 'm about due for a 3rd resoling. They are durable and comfortable. The break in was about a week. I have wide feet and the EE was the right choice. I 'd recommend them to anyone. American Classic. Love them.

The only thing that wears is the tread which is to be expected from normal wear and tear and backpacking in extremely rocky conditions. Would recommend. I won ’ t wear anything else.

I have been buying the breeze boot for about 20 years now. I would agree that the laces need to be a bit longer so you can double tie them. On zappos web site they advertise that the 7742 has gore tex lining and vibram soles, you might want to check on that one. Other than that the boots are really comfortable.

I 've been through many iterations of the Vasque Breeze, for hiking, search/rescue, and everyday wear. I 'm now looking for a new pair of the 7742, but I see much to my disappointment that the outer sole is no longer Vibram. The part number is the same, but the sole is n't. I wo n't bet my life on anything other than Vibram, so that 's the end of the Breeze for me. RIP.

I bought my Rough& Tough IR 's almost 5 years ago and while I dont wear them often they have only aged like a fine wine. If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. Love RedWing and I will absolutely be a customer for life. Yes this is a real review lol

[ These are n't boots that you can take out of the box and go for a backpacking hike, they will need broke in first. When I first put these boots on they felt great, I went for a 2 mile hike and my feet were hurting. It took me about 10 miles, 2 per day, to get to where they felt good, now I love them.
