After experiencing heel pain similar to a time where I had plantar fasciitis I immediately scheduled time with a doctor at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He found that while I did not have plantar fasciitis I needed to strengthen my foot muscles& use an insole that would provide better arch support. I applied SnoSeal to the upper leather as they are prone to staining from icemelt and oil and I must say the insoles higher arch is probably better than the flattened ones I had

These are SO comfortable!! I love them! I use them as everyday, casual boots and they 're perfect- the cushioning is really comfortable and I did n't really need to break them in. Outdoors in rain/snow they 're not bad either, but I 'm not using them as work boots. Word to the wise I find in Carhartt boots I usually need to order 1/2 size down( I 'm an 8. 5 and the 8 are perfect)

I absolutely love these boots, so much so I have purchased 3 pairs. When I worn out my first pair of these boots, I went to order another pair and Carhartt was out of stock and did not have an availability date at that time. I have a wide foot and this boot is available in a wide size. This does not require any break in period. So when I saw that Carhartt brought back this boot in my size I bought 2 pairs.

Super comfortable boots! This is the first pair of boots I 've owned in a long time and I 'm so pleased with them. Comfortable right out of the box, fit like a dream( 8. 5). 3 weeks in Scotland walking in cities and country parks and my feet stayed dry, warm, and comfortable. I bought a second pair and they did n't fit as perfectly and had some scratches on the leather. I sent them back, re- ordered and the second pair was perfect. I highly recommend these boots for work or casual wear.

I 'm a true 7. 5 shoe size, but I followed the size guide and sized up to an 8. These shoes are super stiff and uncomfortable for the first hour or so wearing them. After that initial hour, these shoes fit and feel like a dream. They keep my feet dry in the slush, and I can wear them all day.
