It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

I used every option in this kit. First thing in the morning I used the pop R, and fish would hit it as soon as it hit the water. Once the sun was out, we switched to the crickhopper and wee crawfish. Kept catching them all day. At one point we got to a bigger section of river, tied on the little crank bait, and even started catching small bass! Perfect for every occasion!

i really enjoyed the options in the kit. You have crankbaits as well as a topwater popper. a lot of the time you do n't have to even crank the crickhopper. Wiggle it a bit and they will hit it on top. Crawfish and grasshoppers always great snacks for panfish and bass.

I started using most of these back in the 90s when I started fishing. So when I recently saw the 4- pack I picked one up to replace old and lost lures, and recommended it to my brother, who finally got into fishing. These lures are still some of my standbys, especially for smaller waters, even though I have hundreds more, and my brother relies heavily on them. I have been using the grasshopper since the beginning. Throw it under overhanging trees and near tall grass or cattails to imitate a bug that landed in the water. `` Twitch and pause '' to get fish's attn, rather than cranking it straight in, especially if the surface is calm. Works great for bluegills and bass. I bought the crayfish to fish in streams for trout and smallmouth bass. Works well in clear water and over rocky bottoms. The Wee- R( the little fish), in this color can imitate a fish or a crayfish. I was surprised at how effective it was. I caught a lot of bass in shallow rocky or muddy areas. Personally, I 've had less success with the popper, but I know people who swear by these things. Try it around dawn and dusk, or on overcast days( low light gives it a tempting silhouette), and experiment with a sharp twitch followed by a long pause, a series of quick twitches, then a pause, and other cadences until you find on that works.

I have run a shad style from a competitor for years. When these came out, I gave them a try, and they flat- out caught fish. They come out of the box tuned and run straight. I have been using these lures for over 5yrs now and I have caught just about every species of fish that's in Lake Erie on these lures. I would highly recommend these lures to anyone that's serious about walleye fishing. I saw that someone had mentioned the back hooks pulling out of the lures. I have never experienced this and I have caught walleyes in the 12lb. Range and also lakers that have been 20+ lbs and never had a fish pull the hooks out of the lure.

This is another one of my go- to lures. I find it to be very versatile, I use it as a wake bait or twitch and rise presentation; or just straight crank in. Either way this bait works for me for Slime Gators or Bass. the colors i found best are gold prism black bars orange belly, on my lake back home brook trout funnel into the lake where the Slime Gators wait for them i find that color match's the food source best.& when I 'm fishing Lake Erie or Ontario blue back either silver flash or prism works for me thanks for another great lure!!

Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action.
