[ Taken out twice so far with my Oru Kayak Bay model. I did pinch myself( and that turned into a nasty blood blister) when putting the paddle together the first time- because it is so much easier to connect/glide than my Werner paddle board paddle. Works as expected. I like that it breaks down into 4 smaller pieces for easy transport. It's light weight and floats.

I bought this specifically for paddle upstream on the Snake River from Centennial Park to Shoshone Falls. My wife and I planned to SUP and I wanted the ability to sit and kayak paddle if the current was really strong. The wind was blowing pretty hard that day so it actually propelled up upstream and we had to fight the wind while paddling downstream. Go figure. It came in handy against the 30+ mph wind and I 'm glad I had it along. FYI, it is heavier than our regular SUP paddle, so my wife did n't prefer it. She has issues from typing for years and felt fatigued after paddling with it. I had no issues and plan to use it for further adventures in the future. The little spring lock pin that locks the attachments together was difficult to depress after it got wet a few times. It may need some oil to move freely. Still experimenting with that.

I am a beginner( 5 months) on Pickleball and always had crappy paddles. I decided to go big with the Head Extreme Tour without knowing how it would be compared to the crappy ones I had. I really like the feel of the grip. I have a bit more control but not a lot of power, compared to the crappy ones. Sometimes I switch paddles between the Head and the crappy ones, but that lasts for 3 or 4 shots and I come back to the Head paddle.

This is a fantastic paddle for the competitive player. As a D1 college tennis player who played with Wilson racquets and now competitive pickleball player, this brings together the best of power, control and touch to execute a variety of shots. It has a sleek look and the elongated length and cushioned grip make it easy to play with and control without sacrificing power. Of all the paddles I ’ ve tried, this is by far and away the best in terms of performance, looks and feel. Highly recommend!

I did a personal experiment between Wilson and Selkirk, and Wilson won! I am a 4- 4. 5 pickleball player in my 60s and play 2- 3 hours of pickleball 3- 5 days per week. I 'm a former tennis player and generate enough power that I like to have the 16mm width for more control of my soft game. I have been a Selkirk fan for the last 4 years, but wanted to try something new since my Selkirk Invikta Vanguard 2. 0 kept deteriorating at the top corners of the paddle. So I purchased the Wilson Blaze Tour 16 paddle and put it through the exact same paces as my Selkirk Invikta: I played with both paddles for the same amount of time over 3 months( mid- January to mid- April in the Southwest), on the same courts at the same time of day, with the same group of opponents, and in the same outdoor Sonoran Desert environment. Hands down, the Wilson paddle performed better and structurally lasted longer. See photos. While the Blaze Tour paddle face is smaller than the elongated Selkirk, I found it to have a generous sweet spot, and easy to hit and handle. It has slightly more pop than the Invikta but `` soft '' enough that I could modify speed, power and spin. All in all, I love it and have made it my go to paddle. Well done Wilson!

Great paddle for an athletic youth. I initially thought, `` Why would I go for a top- of- the- line paddle for a kid? '' But hey, I have gone above and beyond when it comes to my son's travel/select baseball gear. So, given how minimal the upstart is for this sport, I was willing to splurge. Oh, he loved this paddle so much and raved on and on about the nuanced feel and dinks to the paddle. The turquoise and green color scheme is exclusive to Dick's Sporting Good, which he preferred over the typical red. And now he plays 2- 3 times a week, which has already pretty much paid for itself.

I purchased this as a gift for my teenage son. He enjoys playing table tennis with his dad and friends, but does n't play competitively or anything like that. I asked him to review it, this is what he had to say- compared to a `` regular '' paddle, it has a lot more grip so you do n't have to flick your wrist too much to produce spin and you do n't have to swing as hard to produce more speed. He wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars, so I rounded up. He thought the price tag was steep, but we had nothing to compare it to, so we are unsure if the price is commiserate with the quality of the paddle.

I 've only played with Joola paddles, starting with the Hyperion 2 last year, then Perseus 2 amidst all the Gen 3 churn. Just got the Perseus 4, and it's definite upgrade- a much better paddle than I am player! The balance is definitely different than the Perseus 2, much lower and feels better to me. It has more power for returns and drives, but just playing with it twice I rarely hit it long( which I was doing all the time with the Perseus 2, while I adjusted to it from the Hyperion). Volleys are great, and best of all it has really good feel on drops and dinks. Spin is good too- you can see in the photo that the spin does n't come from surface grit so much as a woven pattern on the surface, which hopefully will last a long time. Great paddle- recommended!

I bought this a racket a couple months ago. The feel of this racket and striking surface are fantastic, ended up buying a second because I was that impressed.

I bought this paddle along with another during the on- site sale. This is a solid paddle. Its a stiff paddle meaning you can do a lot less with the same result as another. The grit spread is great alongside the fact it has a bottle opener. While it's a great paddle, it's not what I was looking for. I have enough power already so using this paddle I was overhitting a lot. It's some serious pop. I do love the stiffness as volleying and blocking at the net are so easy but since I was looking for feel I could n't hit all the angles I wanted to without missing wide or long. Still, it's a great paddle and if you 're looking for more power and pop as well as stability at the net this paddle is for you.

Love the grip and grit on the face, providing an easy way to add a bit of `` english. '' ... Fantastic control, has a good weight and a good sweet spot, I found myself adding some lead tape on the sides for a bigger sweet

Bought it before it was even released online, a great paddle for the price point, a good step up from a beginner paddle. Fantastic control, has a good weight and a good sweet spot, I found myself adding some lead tape on the sides for a bigger sweet spot. Expect the edges to chip a little bit

This pickleball paddle is very nicely weighted and has a comfortable handle. I have never had a `` professional '' paddle and the switch from another paddle to this one was seamless. It has a nice medium sized sweet spot.

You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. They are definitely one of the brands that seems they could make big waves in the industry. So, all that to say I like this paddle because I feel different playing with it. Something about holding volcanic rock in your hands is just... cool! It performs on par with the other paddles on the court but the feeling it brings me is unique and different. It just so happens my game is unique and different too so it's a good match:)

Paddle has excellent control, more spin than other paddles I have tried, and plenty of power. I tested dozens of other paddles over the last few months and this is the one. Great paddle for my style of game.

I have been using this Joola Radius Paddle for 1 week now and love it. It has great control and spin on the ball. Love the shape of it and seems easier for me to move around and hit the ball. Awesome sweet spot. I did add a little lead top to help with the power for deeper returns. I 'm used to using a selkirk S2 and Head gravity lite. It feels similiar to both of these paddles but I like it more. It gets more spin on the ball and has a larger sweet spot than the Head gravity lite. Awesome paddle

I bought this paddle a few months ago and it has far exceeded my expectations — the feel is like no other paddle and I ’ ve tried a ton. Would recommend to anyone!!

I ’ ve been using the Radius for 13 months. 16mm thickness is ideal for the control I want, and I can get enough power when needed for my game. Light weight and low swing weight are good for tennis elbow- I believe. Produced great spin on my backhand, I believe surface is finally aging a bit, not quite as much spin after one year, but still decent. Great match for my style of game: short game, placement shots, and occasional power put away overheads.

Good surface, easy to spin. Not the cheapest but a solid value.
When selecting a professional paddle, consider features such as weight, grip size, and material composition. A lightweight paddle can enhance maneuverability, while a comfortable grip ensures better control during play. Additionally, paddles made from high-quality materials often provide improved durability and performance.
The material of a professional paddle significantly influences its performance characteristics. For instance, paddles made from composite materials typically offer a good balance of power and control, while those made from wood may provide a more traditional feel. Understanding the benefits of each material can help you choose a paddle that aligns with your playing style.
Professional paddles come in various types tailored to specific sports, such as pickleball, canoeing, and kayaking. Each type is designed to optimize performance based on the sport's unique requirements, including size, shape, and weight distribution. Knowing the specific type of paddle suited for your sport can enhance your overall experience.
The weight of a professional paddle can greatly affect gameplay, influencing both power and control. Lighter paddles allow for quicker reactions and easier maneuverability, while heavier paddles may provide more power behind shots. It's essential to find a weight that complements your playing style and physical capabilities.
Grip size is a crucial factor in selecting a professional paddle, as it affects comfort and control during play. A grip that is too small can lead to excessive hand movement, while one that is too large can cause discomfort and reduce precision. It's advisable to try different grip sizes to find the one that feels most comfortable and secure in your hand.
