[ I ’ ve only had this jacket for about a week now, but so far I absolutely love it. It keeps me nice and warm for the tough upstate NY winters and it ’s very lightweight. I ’ m very happy it is down filled as well and it uses a YKK zipper which I was happy to see. Also, I love the unique design holding the inner and outer shells together and how vibrant the color is.

I bought this in both a medium& large... decided to keep the large even though I 'm petite because I want to be able to wear sweaters underneath. The Medium was a bit too fitted. 4 stars instead of 5 only because the white markings on the sleeve already peeled off after just wearing a few times.

I bought myself and my daughter this coat and wore it on our trip to Iceland. We both loved it. It was warm and kept us dry in a light rain. It also cleaned off easily as my daughter got mud on hers. It was very light weight and took up very little space in our bags. It fit very well and was comfortable for horseback riding, hiking, and walking around the city. We both loved how it looked too.

I like the cut of OR jackets. I am 6 ’ 1 ” 235. The Helium Down does not disappoint regarding warmth. It has that soft down feeling with added structural integrity where one might carry a pack. The gusseting in the arm allow for a full range of motion without much rise. I have long arms and can still draw out without the jacket tightening too much in the back. If for some reason I found myself in dire need of more warmth I could wear it underneath a jacket or shell because it could compress enough to almost be a base layer and not sacrifice its loft. At which point I am certain to roast.

This jacket served me well for 10 years of steady use every winter/fall and I finally replaced it. The quality is superb, the new Pertex Shield on the shoulders/arms gives it a much more durable feel. It has a premium feel in the hand and is a nice blend of weight/durability. Fits great with layers underneath, but also works well as a mid - layer under a shell. I 'm a fan of the new color options too. In summary, this is a durable, lightweight, packable and versatile jacket that does its job in the back - country but transitions seamlessly to the front - country. Highly recommended.

I have a number of OR gear/jackets/fleece. For reference I 'm 5'10 '' and weigh 215 average build so I typically wear an XL in OR and L in some other brands depending on fit. This jacket is very well made and everything fits to be expected except at the waist. It's very small compared to my other OR jackets which surprises me. It is warm but the Storm color is n't accurately represented in the pictures. It's a much lighter grey color in person.

[ Bought this as my new winter jacket hoping for an end of season sale( I ’ ve been stocking it online) and finally leapt on the purchase. Wanted a warm coat specifically for walking the dog on cold mornings and first trip out it is leaps and bounds better than my previous winter coat. Love how cushy it is. I decided to size up and I love how ginormous I feel in it. The adjustable waist is nice as well!

I live in Chicago and have a 10 minute walk to the train every morning. I knew I wanted a real down coat for the winter, but some of them are so ridiculously expensive. This coat has been a lifesaver this winter. So warm, even in below zero temperatures I feel totally warm. I am 5'11 '', 150 lbs and got a size medium. The coat goes down to my knees I can easily wear a thick wool sweater and still have room to move. I could probably have sized down to a small, but I like the roominess.

I 'm really glad I bought this! I did size up( M to an L) after reading the reviews. The M would have fit but without much layering ability - with the L I can layer with a base and fleece layer no problems. Also look good with just a tee or long - shirt. 5' 8 '', around 150. Have n't tried it outside much but I think it 'll be great for camping and as a mid - layer on really cold days under a parka.
5

Just bought this and I 'm so disappointed I did n't buy it sooner! All those cold day could have been avoided! It's so light weight but extremely warm. I 've been riding my motorcycle in 30° weather and this baby keeps me toasty. So happy with it! And the fact that is packs up into itself is a game changer. Ready to sell my other four columbia jackets and replace them with more omni heat infinity. Ten outta ten here

Living in New England we get some cold nights and freezing mornings. My daughter loves this jacket. In the morning it keeps her so warm. She has worn it ice skating, tubing, skiing, playing outside, casually and it's very comfortable. I did buy her a Medium so it would fit her throughout the 3 seasons. It was plenty big but not too big.

[ I wanted a hooded down jacket that would pack into one of its own pockets. I purchased this one as the description fit what I was looking for. I purchased the `` plum '' color which in the photos looked like a very light purple color. I am 5' 6 '' and 180 lbs and apple shaped. I ordered the XL. It is a bit long in the arms, but fits around my belly with a little extra room even when wearing a sweatshirt. The color was not as depicted in the photo, it was much more of what I would expect from `` plum. '' It is also not easy to pack. It took me quite a while to get the whole jacket shoved into the pocket. I included a photo of it packed on top of a sheet of printer paper for size reference. I do plan on keeping the jacket because I actually like the color and it's super warm.

A great feeling warm jacket! I have a 40 '' chest, 34 '' waist, 160 lbs and the medium fits great. Have worn in temps ranging from mid 30s to mid 40s and have been warm with just a cotton long sleeve under it. Love the stretch of the durable fabric and the matte green color. Also, this jacket does n't have the `` marshmallow look '' of other downs. Overall, this is the best down jacket I have owned and look forward to years of use.

[ Needed a replacement to my north face nano puff and this is an upgrade. Perfect to wear on its own or as a midlayer during winter. I also like the flexibility and stretch around the shoulders. It will be my go to puffy when I go backpacking in the high sierra this summer. Hoping it holds up as long or longer than my nf nano.

[ As far as the jacket goes I love it so far. Great fit. I ’ m 5 ’ 10, 215 pounds very active. I fit in a large perfect. Fits the shoulders and arms well which is where most jackets fail me. Body fits nice but is not too tight. In regards to customer service, I had to exchange for a different size. The customer chat was initially very unhelpful and unpleasant but ended up processing the exchange.

Bought the parka for my wife and she was thrilled! She is hard to please, but this did the trick. The parka is long enough to cover her hips( she has SI joint pain, so keeping them warm is critical) and was super comfy. The parka was perfect for taking the dogs out for their walk in the winter. It may be a bit much for more strenuous activities given the volume.

Great jacket, super warm. Perfect for wearing around the ski hill before/after hitting the slopes. Also cute enough to walk around town in. Love the thumb holes. I 'm 5' 9 ''& 150#, got a medium. It's a little big, but I do n't think the arms would have been long enough if I went down to a small.

I am always freezing. I 've tried all sorts of cold weather jackets but this one is by far the warmest and comfiest coat I 've ever bought. I 'm also short so added bonus for me is that it goes past my knees. This coat is definitely worth every penny!

Native Minnesotan here. This jacket feels just like a warm winter hug - I ’ m on winter# 3 with mine and it ’s the jacket I ’ m most excited to pull out of my closet every year. Frigid dog walks when your dog insists on the long route? You ’ ll be cozy. Bonfire hangs? You ’ ll be cozy. Deciding to leave the office to walk for lunch for a break from your coworkers after your boss forced you back to the office? You ’ ll be cozy. This is my most “ recommended ” product for friends - four of them bought it after trying my coat. It holds up, washes well, and is a warm dream. Seriously, get this coat. Originally, I order two sizes - a small and a medium. I opted to keep the medium to allow for layering under it and feel great about that choice!

Absolutely killer jacket. Bought it to use for teaching a backpacking class in the late fall in high mountains of Idaho where it can get pretty cold pretty quick. Used it in - 10f weather with a baselayer underneath and shell on top and stayed toasty the whole time. Provides an honestly impressive amount of wind resistance even on the seams. A lot of people claim durability issues but I 've used it climbing, backpacking, and bikepacking for about two years now and it's done amazingly. Well done Mountain Hardwear!

I wanted a warm jacket, and this is exactly what it is. I live in a cold weather state, when it ’s 5 below I can throw this on with just a shirt underneath. It stays below my bottom, had a great hood, plenty of pocket space, and easily adjusted cuffs at the sleeves.

Keeps me warm in the 30s easily with just a normal shirt and a sweater. With real layers I have been able to walk approx 30 minutes round trip in the low 20s and strong winds. It ’s very warm and also gives you that psychological warmth boost of a fat, cozy puffer. The length is just right if you need a big outermost layer but don ’ t want a full parka length. I am normally between S and M for most things and a S easily fits me even with a chunky sweater. The two internal mesh pockets are clutch.

[ I live in the Ozarks and am traveling to Iceland in April. I love my outdoor life, hiking, and winter living when I 'm dressed accordingly. I wanted the warmest coat I could buy that was light weight and would not be bulky on planes, trains, and automobiles. This beauty is it. I am in LOVE with this cozy jacket. Feels like a down comfortable - warm and my new best friend. The fabric is also forgiving also - a gentle stretch and great color. The technical aspects - length, 700 loft, attached hood, zippable pockets, and wrist fit - batting a perfect game. Most importantly, the fit is perfect. I am 5' 4 '', 178 lbs and purchased a large because I wanted to layer over base layers. Iceland here I come.

[ I just retired from being a park ranger so did my research concerning warmth, the ability to layer& leg freedom to hike& snow shoe etc. It dodges that sleeping bag feel w/out giving up the warmth factor. The high collar& hood fit comfortably. It is an investment which will hopefully pay off for some years as it is not overly Fashioned as to look outdated. Gotten some compliments on it. I am 5 ’ 4 ” 135 lbs& a medium checks in to cover derrière, mid hip nicely. Pleased& would encourage a consideration. EB

I bought the Stretchdown Parka to replace my Stretchdown Hoodie, which was too big due to weight loss. I wasn ’ t sure I loved the look of the parka as much as the hoodie, but I love the following parka features: 1. The collar zips up high eliminating the need for a scarf. 2. Chest pocket - so handy for phones. Let ’s normalize chest pockets in women ’s jackets. 3. I love the matte fabric of Stretchdown. Looks better than shiny down. 4. The parka covers your butt for extra warmth. I live in MN so it helps.

Bought this 2 weeks ago for skiing. Keeps me warm even when the wind chill dips below 0. Very comfortable, very warm. Make sure to test wear at a store. I am 6' 1/170 lbs and the large was way too big for me. Medium fits very well despite my long arms.

I am not a skier but I wanted a jacket that would keep me warm and dry in very cold temperatures and winter precipitation. The day after I bought this I took a long walk along a country road wearing this jacket over a t - shirt with temperatures in the mid - 20s( F) that soon saw precipitation in the form of wind - driven light snow and sleet. I was amazed at the cozy, comfortable feel this jacket provided. I will never second - guess this purchase - love this jacket!

Good winter and low temp jacket. Its longer and a tad baggy/active since its made for riding, so take your normal size and layer underneath for really cold days. It's super comfortable and will keep you warm and dry. Hood is definitely a little too Raph, it's made for riding with a helmet on, so its too big for casual wear but I knew that would be the case for any snowboard jacket so it does n't bother me.

I 've been itching for a cold day ski jacket. This baby is perfect. On the roomy side, super warm, windproof, good style. All the right pockets. Love it. I 'm 5'10 '' 210 pounds and large fits without any restriction and room for a mid layer.

[ I bought this jacket with the upcoming Winter in mind replacing my previous ten years ’ old puffer. I can tell it ’s going to be warm enough for the E coast winter but what really blows my mi d is just how light it is. Whereas I ’ ve always had jackets that encumbered my movements and I ’ d simply got used to that fact, this jacket feels so incredibly light and form fitting that it ’s going to be a new experience for my winters. I love the fact it feels like a light jacket instead of a ‘ winter coat ’ and can ’ t wait to be wearing it daily very soon.

[ I bought this to replace a 16 year old 800 fill down coat. This coat is warmer than the old one was. It fits well, lofts well and seems durable. It packs into its pocket for backpacking or cold weather hikes. I 'm happy.

This is a nice jacket—super versatile. I use it for night walks around the neighborhood and camping trips to the desert. It keeps me warm even on really cold nights. My favorite feature, though, is how roomy it feels. It allows plenty of flexibility, even when I layer up. This is my second one, and this time, I went for the hooded version.

Amazing coat. Comfortable, warm and a great look. I am always in between a M and L. I went with the Medium and it fits me great. Best coat ever!

I ’ m 6 ’ 6, so my jackets always show my belly when I use/lift my arms. The cut of this jacket is perfect and solves the issue. The armpit seam is very high up the jacket. You can move your arms and the jacket stays in place. Almost feels tailored.

I bought this jacket to replace another down. One issue I have with my other down is that it doesn ’ t fit over my butt. This one fits great. I love the colors of my Cotopaxi and it is so comfortable and warm! One thing I will say is that it is maybe too warm for the shoulder season in New England.

My son - in - law pressed me to get the Fuego Hooded Down Jacket on sale. He said: You want the hood. You want a puffy to keep in your hiking bag and to wear in the cool desert mornings climbing mountains and at night when the temperature plummets. He was right! I love how cozy, light, and warm the jacket is and look forward to cooler weather so I can wear it daily.

I love this vest. While it ’s a little bulky it more than makes up for it in warmth and in how attractive it looks. Some reviews have described the vest as too masculine which I partially agree with but the high collar and shiny fabric make the vest more feminine, in my opinion. Pros: Very light in weight but great warmth Comfortable and stylish Longer length ============== Cons( I ’ m being picky) Collar does not have fleece chin guard lining for the zip or at the neck Collar is a little too wide ============== Detailed Review As someone who hates being cold or even a little chilly; I like to wear a vest in the Fall), Winter and early to mid - Spring. I frequently layer it under a woollen hoodie, a waterproof shell or under a long leather coat. I leave the vest on when I get to where am going. It adds that little bit of extra warmth worn under a jacket and even when you take off your longer out layer the vest is ideal to leave on at your destination to keep you warm. It will continue to hold a lovely bubble of warm air around your body, it ’s like wearing an electric blanket. I wear it( 1/2 to 3/4 zipped) at my desk in work( especially in colder parts of the building e. g., the lower floors) and around town. Our office isn ’ t freezing but it ’s chilly sometimes when windows are constantly opened( especially now during Covid) or when doors are left open for too long. I also wear it when working from home when it ’s a little chilly in the house. The vest wraps you in a wonderfully warm bubble of air and is ideal for wearing for hours at a time. Even when you take if off you can feel the huge warmth retained by the baffles on the inside of the vest. Just like any down filled outerwear you can benefit by putting it on and zipping it up( the higher the better) about 5 minutes before you head outdoors. This allows the down to absorb your body heat in advance of being outside. I haven ’ t needed to put it on in advance of going out since I like mine so much that I have been wearing it casually half zipped up and part of my outfit every day since buying it. I ’ ve just found it comfortable and stylish enough to wear all the time in the Autumn and Winter weather. I ’ m a “ vest ” person and love having a vest that is so warm, generously padded, stylish and convenient to wear with me as often as I can during the colder months. On the rare occasions when I ’ ve gotten too warm, I simply unzip it or take it off. Since they ’ re aren ’ t any sleeves the vest doesn ’ t get in the way. If the dress code of where you work or wherever you are is n't too fussy and you feel chilly enough, leave this vest on when you get there; at least 1/2 zipped if you can. I found most people do n't care if you wear a thick padded vest like this indoors. After all you 're not wearing a full jacket with sleeves but just another layer to stay warm. This ties into my other tip above about warming up the vest before venturing outside. I wear mine in the office( even to meetings with the dress code now a little less formal), coffee shops etc. I do since there's no point in being feeling chilly when you can cocoon yourself in the warmth of this smart looking vest. If you get too warm or someone thinks you 're rude for wearing a jacket indoors, simply take it off. I love touching the smooth Tactel nylon material of this vest. The gorgeous gold inner lining is beautiful too. I 'm a UK size 12 and the medium fits me perfectly even with a heavy sweatshirt on. The arm holes of the vest are reasonably sized and make it easy to put on. The zip on the front has an inner baffle that is excellent at keeping the wind out. Gusts of wind can come right at you, but they wo n't get inside in the vest. The zips easy pull toggle makes it easier to adjust when my hands are cold or when I 'm wearing gloves on those extra cold days. Make use of the pockets since they are warm and really comfortable with a soft material on the inside. The pockets absorb your body heat from the baffles on the front of the vest. They are so good they are almost a substitute for wearing gloves. If you don ’ t believe me, put your hands in the pockets right after putting the vest on and then try again in 2 to 3 minutes, the difference is very noticeable. The only negatives( I ’ m being picky) are that the collar could be much more comfortable when fully zipped up if it had a soft chin guard lining( the description said it had one but I don ’ t see or feel one). Its also a little wide meaning I ’ ve needed to wear one of Columbia ’s neck gaiters to stay warm when its windy. The collar could fit closer to the neck and with a nice soft lining could be very comfortable. I still wear my Columbia Voodoo Falls 590 vest because I love it too but if I need something warmer, the Bulo Point vest is my go - to vest. Overall, it ’s a beautiful vest, stylish, very comfortable and super smooth to the touch. Believe me, when you wear it you won ’ t want to take it off! I love this vest so much that I also bought the matching jacket in the same color but that ’s for another review! Thanks for reading.

The
I recently purchased The North Face Men's 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket, and after wearing it for a while, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype The jacket has a boxy, vintage - inspired fit, staying true to its 90s heritage. It looks great with both casual and outdoor outfits, making it a versatile piece for everyday wear. I went with my usual size, and it fits comfortably with room for layering underneath. If you prefer a more fitted look, consider sizing down. Packed with 700 - fill goose down, this jacket is impressively warm without feeling overly bulky. It holds up well against cold temperatures, even in windy conditions. The stowable hood is a great addition, offering extra protection when needed. The outer shell is made of ripstop nylon with a water - repellent finish, making it both durable and resistant to light rain or snow. The quality feels premium, and I expect this jacket to last for years.

John
Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30 - 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This IS N'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up( it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.

Awesome piece of gear. It ’s lighter than a mouse fart, but warm as a Marshall pufffy combined. This jacket was purchased with climbing Kilimanjaro in mind and will be bringing it with in January. The only other puffy that compares is the whisperer/2 which trades a little down loft for a slightly tougher shell fabric.

This is my dream super light down jacket and I wear it more than any other during the colder months. I thought the Ghost Whisperer was good until I got one of these and now I only wear the UL. It's so light it almost feels like you 're not wearing anything, and at the same time its seems much warmer than similar jackets that are heavier. It's almost like an illusion because when you put it on you warm up quickly yet you do n't feel like you 're wearing a jacket! [ I bought this and another similar Prana coat. I compared the two, and this coat was lighter than the other( Kromata). I liked this coat, but wanted a heavier warmer coat, so I went with the Kromata.

[ The length is good; zipper and snaps are fine and I love the warm fleece pockets. The hoop fits me better than a few other down coats - not hanging in front of my eyes or sticking up from my head. The color is a nice grey. I didn ’ t realize that the lining was a tan/gold color, but it doesn ’ t offend.

[ I received this as a Christmas gift this year and I have worn it for walks with my dogs in the cold Michigan winters and this coat is amazing. I like the pocket placement, the hood, the coverage length and especially the sleeves, the cuffs are cut to work well with gloves. It ’s just the perfect right amount of puffiness.

[ I ’ ve been searching for a coat like this for 2 years! I needed a longer coat to keep me warmer and I like this length. The fit is absolutely perfect. I stayed toasty warm when we hiked with our dogs in weather in the single digits over Christmas.

[ super warm, thick down jacket- - so plush it feels like you 're floating in a cloud while wearing. hood is also super warm, roomy and insulated. fleece detailing in pockets adds to the coats cozy - ness. this jacket in my mind runs true to size contrary to some other review stating it runs large. i 'm 5' 8 130lbs 34b chest and the medium fit me best, while the small fit but would n't have allowed for much layering to occur underneath.

[ I bought this after trying a few similar styles from popular brands. I was looking for something to keep me warm down to the 20s without looking too bulky, and this coat is perfect! I never associated Prana with anything but yoga but have been very pleasantly surprised. For reference, I ’ m 120 pounds, 5 foot 4 and got the XS and the fit is perfect.

[ My son is 13 months old and typically wears 18 month clothes. The 18 month size was HUGE so we sized down to 12 months and it fits perfect. The gap between the two sizes seemed dramatic and I wish there was something between the two so he could grow into it a little bit

[ This coat is great quality and keeps my little one warm. I would definitely recommend sizing up though as it runs a little small

Delivery took only 5 or 4 days what surprised me. I really like the quality and color, super soft and light, but the measurements are not quite right. My baby is 18 months now so I chose size 18 - 24, but it runs much bigger. She is 31, 5 inches tall now and 24 lbs, but the suit is so long… it fits 2 - 2, 5 years old toddler I guess. But since it was good price for that I ’ ll live it.

I bought this jacket a couple of years ago, very warm, keeps you warn against Scottish cold wind. Reminds me of the quality down jackets of the late 70s with modern updates and no compromise on the quality.

Now 2 months in my possession. Without any doubt a really warm jacket. But be aware: it ’s rather bulky and not a slim fit jacket. If you are looking for a really warm jacket, it ’s your choice; if you are looking for a warm jacket for daily use, you better make another choice..

I recently bought this jacket in response to the upcoming cold snap in Edmonton and it performs extremely well! For reference, the temperatures during the cold snap can range from - 30 to - 45 degrees Celsius and this jacket kept me warm through all of it( with a few layers, of course). Definitely recommend it to those who want an extremely warm, light, and durable jacket!

I bought two colors for my 13 year old and she loves it. She's about 5ft 5 inches and 125lbs, I followed the size chart and bought xxl. The fit is good, has reasonable amount of space and looks like it 'll last a couple more winters. She also says it's very warm.

I bought this recently after outgrowing a jacket I used for many years! I keep my jackets for multiple years and am very pleased with it so far. It ’s extremely cozy and warm and I get cold easily! I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and 170lbs of muscle with wider hips and shoulders - this jacket in a large fits perfectly with room for a hoodie underneath while not being too tight on my bum. The forest green colour is also beautiful and matches my green eyes but that ’s besides the point. I love it and hope it lasts many many years!

I wanted to leave a review for other petite mid - size women as it is hard for me to find jackets that fit without being drowned in sleeves. I ’ m 5 ’ 1 ” 155 lbs measurements 40 - 36. 5 - 41. 5( between US sizes 10 - 12) I ordered a large because I wanted it roomy enough for a sweater inside but not so big I look like a potato sack. The Large met this need, I can wear it with just a base layer, when I hike in the winter and add a sweater if it ’s too cold. The sleeves because of the cuffed ends worked well for my short arms( usually large jackets the sleeves go past my arm or balloon so much in the cuff, this one didn ’ t). My gloves did not get “ pushed out ” by the sleeves Overall great down jacket for a petite mid size woman, worth the price

[ Bought this for my wife for Xmas - she ’s a long distance runner despite the weather and her other coats just weren ’ t cutting it anymore. She said this is the best, warmest coat she ’s had in 35+ years of running - and we ’ ve tried them all. Well constructed.

[ I bought this jacket about a month ago and have just started to wear it as the temperatures are now below freezing. The jacket is very light weight. I bought an XL because I like to wear heavy sweaters. With the jacket on I do n't look like the Michelin man.

I ’ ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it. It ’s dreamily warm, looks fantastic and the pack down feature it really going to be great for travel. It has even performed perfectly on walks in temperatures well below freezing. I ’ m just over 5 ’ 6 ” and 150 lbs, athletic build and medium works well. It was slightly larger than what I thought it would be, as I am hoping to use it under a waterproof layer soon, but the small would likely have been too small. Still thinking it will work as a mid layer when I need it to.

This jacket deserves 5 stars, just be aware that the sizing is off. The Raven jacket is huge, especially if you wear it with only t shirt. Accordingly, I had to size down.

I wear this on my windshieldless moto going 70 - 89 mph and it does the job on windblocking. When it rained, it keep deflecting rain. I wear a merino thermal, my casual, moto protective shirt, and my thermal heated liner, which I do n't have to turn on the heated liner at these temps because of the windblocking and having gear insulate the heat inside. I love this field jacket; my favorite jacket. I want to buy a more expensive jacket here, but this one was beautiful to pass up. Its big for sure for my 5' 5 stature at Medium, but I have full range of motion with all my gear on underneath and that's awesome. Buy it! worth it!

Great jacket for those of us living in the Southeast US. was able to wear comfortably down to around 50 degrees F with only a lightweight cotton flannel shirt underneath. You can go much colder if you have a suitable insulation or base layer underneath. I bought in dusk for a classic style yet unique colorway that stands out among your standard olive or khaki surplus jackets. The G1000 softens up a bit with wear. Supposedly water resistant, but I would caution against wearing if more than a light sprinkle is in the forecast.

Devin
Nothing on this jacket is disappointing. The hood actually rolls back up into the collar. It is great against the wind and rain while on bike. The tie downs on the inside keep all the heat inside. While I have n't used the pockets much yet I know they 'll be great for gloves and hats this winter.

I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I 'm 5' 1 '' and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you 're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.

I LOVE this jacket. I do wish the hip area was more boxy and had a synch cord. It can be a bit tight on the hips even tough I sized up. I really like that the powder skirt is removable to get rib of the added bulk. I wish there was an outer chest pocket. The wrist cuffs are a bit bulky. The jacket is super warm but sometimes it feels like the seams are not windproof. Overall very happy with the purchase. 10/10 for style points.

I bought this at the employee store. The shell feels like it has more texture and feels durable. Those things were obvious. The size is nice and roomy without being too bulky, It fits just right. I ca n't speak of cold winters just yet, but layering this with something under would be enough for me. The color is true to the picture. It has some good pocket verity.( small on the front, regular pockets on the side, and pockets on the inside. This is good jacket overall. Only way they could improve on this jacket is if they went with 700 fill.

Got this jacket today, looks pretty good! Quality is great! I love those side pockets! I 'm going to use it as everyday mild winter down jacket. The only thing: I see it's mentioned that 6' 1 is size M, but I would consider to choose L. M will fit, but imagine if you will want to put on a sweater under the jacket? It can be really tight.
