These are a great substitute for cumbersome pulley machines for the home gym. You can increase resistance by approximate increments 10lb by adding the next tube size/color. Thicker ones are easy to place in the handles by securing the tube underneath your foot and stretching it out by pulling it up thinning it out enough to slide the handle into the slot.

I enjoy the stepper however I would have preferred the use being longer than 15 mins. I have tried using it a little longer but you can feel the resistance losing its firmness couple with it squeaking from time to time. Overall a good product but the cons are the length of use.

I ’ ve had the triple handles and bought an assortment of cables ranging from 10 to 50 pounds. This means( using either one, two, or 3 cables) that I can create most combinations of total weight between 10 and 150 lbs. I use standard dumbbells in addition to these but any time I travel these just come along in a small duffel bag. Weights stay in the basement and these frequently come to the living room for quiet/safe use- just anchored to a door. Bought this for a Christmas gift for our son after some problems getting set up due to the company that was scheduled to set it up the manager at the Bel Air Md store who took care of the issue and got it taken care of 4 days before Christmas. The first guy that was scheduled to deliver and set up came at 4pm and brought it in the house and then proceeded to tell us it was too late and we will have to reschedule, this was the 18th of December, after no return call from this company I stopped in my local Dicks store and spoke with the manager, he called back later that day and it was set up and ready to go 2 days before Christmas. Set up took about 6 hours with 2 guys who do this for a living, I would recommend paying the extra for set up. The machine itself is very well- built solid equipment, does so many different things, make sure you measure your space. It does not come with weights, so you have to buy them separately. So far, my son and husband are happy with the machine.

I 'm 62 and purchased this about 2 months ago. So far, I find it to be very good. I lift weights 3 days a week and use this Golf Forever the other 4 days of the week. It's not a `` muscle strenuous '' workout so it compliments my other routine. My weakness is with balance and flexibility so I believe over time this Golf Forever trainer will help because I 'm already seeing some benefits. Before starting it asks you what equipment you have so it can provide routines that you can do in addition to the Golf Forever trainer. I would suggest getting a good foam roller because the routines they have for it are good.

This is a great machine! It's solid and high quality, and it has enough exercise options to let me mix it up. Doing the same 5 or 6 lifts every time gets old, and it's not ideal for training. The Centr 3 allows me to hit each muscle group in multiple ways so my workouts do n't stagnate. The Smith bar is my favorite aspect of the machine. I suffered some spinal injuries several years ago, and that has really limited my ability to keep fit and mobile. In particular, squats were out of the question. My legs still have some good strength, but I have nerve damage that compromises my ability to stabilize the lift. With the Centr 3, I can rely on the mechanical stability of the Smith bar, allowing me to start reversing the muscle loss from years of `` taking it easy. '' I know I 'll never be as strong as I was before my injuries, but with Centr in my corner, I 'll be a heck of a lot closer!

[ I 've owned the Centr 3 for almost a year and it has completely met my expectations! The fact that it includes the attributes of a Smith Machine means I can safely squat, bench and complete other exercises where being unable to finish the exercise might compromise my safety. It also provides so many options/variations for lifts that it does n't lend itself to that workout `` killer '' of falling into the same routine.

Since purchasing this set a month ago, I 've used it nearly every day. I like that it was extrememly easy to set up and it does n't take up very much space- I can literally attach it to the back of my basement door and there's no other clutter to deal with. While this set only comes with one cable system, I like that I can add other cables when I 'm ready to increase the resistance level. And I do n't have to worry about it doing any damage to the door, unlike other doorway gym systems I 've looked at in the past.
