These are a great substitute for cumbersome pulley machines for the home gym. You can increase resistance by approximate increments 10lb by adding the next tube size/color. Thicker ones are easy to place in the handles by securing the tube underneath your foot and stretching it out by pulling it up thinning it out enough to slide the handle into the slot.

So i need Some equipment to get my muscles used to the gym routine i want to go back to. These bands are great. There are 4 resistance strengths and they all do pretty well. I 'm not used to these bands, so it's still a bit scary stretching them out so much. Even though I have them secured in place. My only true issue, is that the carabiner on the band itself is kind of small. The strap that wraps around the carabiner is thick, and it's a bit annoying to attach the handles. But, that's typically normal with a lot of gym equipment, so whatever.

I ’ ve had the triple handles and bought an assortment of cables ranging from 10 to 50 pounds. This means( using either one, two, or 3 cables) that I can create most combinations of total weight between 10 and 150 lbs. I use standard dumbbells in addition to these but any time I travel these just come along in a small duffel bag. Weights stay in the basement and these frequently come to the living room for quiet/safe use- just anchored to a door. Bought this for a Christmas gift for our son after some problems getting set up due to the company that was scheduled to set it up the manager at the Bel Air Md store who took care of the issue and got it taken care of 4 days before Christmas. The first guy that was scheduled to deliver and set up came at 4pm and brought it in the house and then proceeded to tell us it was too late and we will have to reschedule, this was the 18th of December, after no return call from this company I stopped in my local Dicks store and spoke with the manager, he called back later that day and it was set up and ready to go 2 days before Christmas. Set up took about 6 hours with 2 guys who do this for a living, I would recommend paying the extra for set up. The machine itself is very well- built solid equipment, does so many different things, make sure you measure your space. It does not come with weights, so you have to buy them separately. So far, my son and husband are happy with the machine.

I was working out at home on my traditional weight bench with a couple of plates on each side. During my bench press workout, I pushed through nine reps and thought I could squeeze out one more, but my arms completely gave out. The bar came down and rested on my chest, and I had to tip one side to drop the weights, which caused the other side to flip down. It was a pretty risky move, especially without a spotter, but sometimes it ’s just not convenient to have one when you ’ re working out alone at home. This experience is probably the biggest reason I ended up purchasing this strength platform.
