We own 2 Pedego electric bikes. It is a puzzle every time to fit the bikes because one tends to forget how. Bikes are scratched because the pedals knock and scrape into the other bike's frame. More space between such bikes would be very helpful.( Improvement tips for Thule design team?) I like the foldability, moveability of the rack and minimum effort to attach to car. Another feature I like is that the rack can be tilted back with bikes on the rack and have access to my trunk. The extra long straps I bought later are very expensive for it just being plastic, I think Thule could have delivered the rack with longer straps to begin with. The gutter guide to roll the bikes onto the rack I have mixed feelings about. They are flimsy, slide around and when stored inside the rack I could n't make them fit very well, they are now parked inside my car trunk. The bike arms, to hold and lock the bikes in place, I need 2 hands to unlock them to move them around to find the right spot to attach to the bikes, all plastic( plastic/nylon?) parts and I wonder how long they will last. I personally need 2 people to load 2 bikes just to avoid scratching and nicking the bikes. But I am happy with my bike rack, it is compact when stored in garage and it has 2 wheels when moved.

It's a great bike rack. It's very secure in my hitch and the bikes are very secure on the rack. They are carbon fiber road bikes so I also use Carbon Frame Protectors. There is very little movement of the rack while driving. Everything locks with one key the rack to the hitch, and each bike's holding arm. And it folds up to a nice small size which is great as I do n't have much storage space. The only issue is the instructions are terrible practically useless. I found a really good video on YouTube which went through everything step by step. The first time I used the rack I watched the video several times. I think without the video I may not have gotten everything secured properly.

This product is great for any bike especially for any one with lifting inabilities because it comes with a show away ramp. I purchased for heavy DH hikes and my fender covered touring bike. I have a small truck with a topper. Having bike pads between the gate and topper is a bit tight, and having roof racks on the topper is a bit high for loading and unloading, so these hitch racks are my preferred method. This one has no flaws that I 've come across and is easy to use. It is on the heavier side but I 'd prefer that not being sturdy enough. Fairly easy to setup if you get it shipped. It folds up nicely when not in use such that I do n't have to take it off. Definitely recommend.

My Jeep Gladiator has the option to place bikes over the tailgate, but when you are only 5' 5 '' this can be a challenge. As well, I recently purchased an electric bike that needed a rack to transport. The T2 Pro XTR is amazing. The ability to push up and out of the way when driving without bikes it convenient. I am very happy with my purchase of the Malone J - dock Kayak& Gear storage rack. Installation was easy. I did use a bigger drill bit than instructed to drill the pilot holes for the screws, and used socket rather than a wrench to make it easier on myself. The whole installation was about 20 minutes. Once installed, placing my kayaks in the cradles took about 10 minutes. The straps to hang the second kayak did not ratchet as easily as I would have liked, and I suggest using your own straps, having help to take weight off the straps while you ratchet them up, or using something under the kayak to hold it up while you tighten the straps. Either way, once they kayak is up and the straps tightened the kayaks are secure and the system is great! I also liked having the ability to store my paddles on the rack.

With any Thule defect issues I ’ ve had with any products, Thule has always stepped up and corrected the issue in a timely fashion, they just require proof of purchase. So far, I ’ ve only had to load 3 bikes, but it worked like a charm. I love the functionality of the swing arm, giving me access to my trunk while loaded with bikes. Our other car has the traditional Thule fold down rack. It works too except when we have bikes loaded. I would highly recommend this rack if the features meet your needs.

This rack is perfect. I could n't be happier. I also own a Vertex rack which is great for my bike but not for my wife's step through frame which is a pain to strap up. This solves that issue perfectly as it's held by the tires and not the top tube on the frame. It also eliminates the bikes banging together while traveling. One other thing I noticed is that I can see out of my rear view camera when backing up again as it's not blocked by the upright of the Vertex rack I had. I love that it does n't touch or scratch the frame when I bring my bike back dirty and probably the simplest installation I 've ever seen. My wife can toss her bike on quickly and easily. Originally I purchased the traditional car bike rack but with having two mountain bikes the fit was just two tight and the bikes were are odd angles. I returned it to Dicks with no issues and purchased this one. It took a few minutes to setup but for the most part it is pretty straightforward. The rack is not to heavy and works very well. It is not a heavy duty as the original bike rack I returned but I suspect it will hold up just fine. If I was to pick out any weak points it would be the plastic adjustment knobs other than it should be fine.
