I already had the ground anchor installed in my driveway, so that made the installation much easier and I had to assemble the hoop only. If you turn off all the lights and close the shades, it definitely glows, but would be cooler if it were super bright... like even if you could put a few small batteries in it to make it light up, that would be cool. I 'm not sure if the bad reviewers just got a defective product or what but I have had this backboard pad for over 4 years now and it is still looking good. I bought this a little late though as my son had already hit his head on the backboard before I bought the pad which prompted me to find the best pad out there( this one). It's thickness and the way it makes your goal look sleeker are the reasons I bought this pad.

Installed this today and it went great, very straight forward. Just one item was missing from the install booklet( you bend the angle pieces to the shape to fit the holes on the backboard. It was n't in this book. But it was written on our Lifetime backboard book so we figured it out.

This is a great basketball hoop and is worth spending the extra money on something more sturdy. It has a good basketball feel to it especially with the backboard and is a perk that the height can be adjusted based on your needs. We 've already had kids dunk on it and I 'm not concerned with it being able to be pulled into the pool. The other nice aspect is the base can be set behind the coping and the hoop itself will still be over the pool. The set up was fairly straight forward. You will need another person to assist towards the end to connect the backboard but its not overly heavy. Definitely recommend!

I was actually really shocked with the quality of this poolside basketball hoop. We ’ ve bought ones in the past that were flimsy or couldn ’ t stand up to my teenage nephews intense summer poolside games, but this one looks like it will do the trick. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately due to heavy rains, it took almost a month before we could assemble and test it out. Assembly was quite easy. My two daughters completed most of it solo. It looks great once assembled and it ’s very sturdy. I ’ m really excited for all the use we will get out of it this summer. If you ’ re stuck deciding between brands, this is a really great choice.

Had this for at least a month and my son is really enjoying it. only thing is i wish it was a lot quieter when he shoots and misses because it does bang against the door. and it ’s installed pretty snug so i can ’ t see the reason it does that. but other than that it is a nice goal and basketball that comes with it. oh yea and it comes with a pump as well. major+. your not going to waste your money in my opinion…so go ahead and buy it already stop reading all these reviews lol.

This basketball hoop is just what i needed for my grandkids to play while in pool. I like that it ’s adjustable and seems sturdy. My only issue is I had to reorder due to a missing net. I wish they could have just sent me the missing part. I literally had ti return the entire item ti get a new one.

I truly love the concept of the pool basketball hoop. We attempted to use it, but the water is way too cold to enjoy it right now. I can tell you that it was easy to assemble, sturdy enough to withstand some bad wind and rain, and my kids are looking forward to using it once the water is warmer.

Pool basketball hoop is well constructed and sturdy. Easy to put together. Kids unfortunately have not been in pool due to excessive SoCal rain, however my boys enjoyed shooting baskets from across the pool into the hoop which kept them entertained a couple of hours. Looking forward to pool time basketball.

This backboard is so much more attractive than our older one. The height of the clear board enhances the experience. Be advised, the ball that comes with it is a hard rubber ball, making it more durable, but painful if hit while in the pool. The stand is sturdy. The overall set makes a nice addition to the pool area without being much of an eyesore.
