Me and my family love the backboard and rim combo that we got from Spaulding! It was the perfect upgrade and facelift that our old inground basketball system needed. The only issue that we had was with the instructions, because we also replaced the pole mounting mechanism, which was not Spalding brand, and had its own instructions. It took a while to figure out which instructions steps to follow and which ones to skip, in regards to the backboard and the mount, but I eventually figured it out and now it works perfectly, and can be set to any height!

[ Our previous backboard lasted outside about three years before starting to break and chip. We bought this new backboard to replace the old one in our pole/elevator system. The new backboard fit and worked in this system without need of any adaptor kits, and while it was tight and tough to remount, it works and we 're back up and playing regularly. So far, this is a little smaller backboard but works great. We hope this one will last longer than three years, but we do play often and pretty hard on it. I 'm not sure if the bad reviewers just got a defective product or what but I have had this backboard pad for over 4 years now and it is still looking good. I bought this a little late though as my son had already hit his head on the backboard before I bought the pad which prompted me to find the best pad out there( this one). I bought this just a few weeks ago. The original order said it would take 10 days to deliver..... it was at my front door in 2 days. Instructions are super easy! Make sure you buy your own mounting lags or bolts( they are n't included). I bought eight 5/8 x 5 '' wood lags with washers and the hoop feels like Shaq could n't even tear it down.

Escalade ’s order process time is excessively long. It took 7- 8 days before the hoop was shipped. Now, the hoop itself is great. All the bolts and nuts were shrink wrapped onto a cardboard sheet which made finding the right hardware super easy. This was probably the easiest item I ’ ve ever assemble simply due to the way the hardware is packaged. The backboard is a little less rigid than I had hoped for but as long as bank shots hit close the white rectangle on the backboard it works well. All in all I highly recommend this hoop.

This is a great basketball hoop and is worth spending the extra money on something more sturdy. It has a good basketball feel to it especially with the backboard and is a perk that the height can be adjusted based on your needs. We 've already had kids dunk on it and I 'm not concerned with it being able to be pulled into the pool. The other nice aspect is the base can be set behind the coping and the hoop itself will still be over the pool. The set up was fairly straight forward. You will need another person to assist towards the end to connect the backboard but its not overly heavy. Definitely recommend!

I bought the Goalsetter X560 60 ” Extreme two weeks ago from DSG as curbside pickup, DSG team helped me loading the boxes into my car. I already had the ground anchor installed in my driveway, so that made the installation much easier and I had to assemble the hoop only. The installation was easy, it too 2. 5 hours, the manual shows everything. The hoop has a good quality, is sturdy, my kids and I are happy with with this basketball hoop, I highly recommend this product.

Be advised, the ball that comes with it is a hard rubber ball, making it more durable, but painful if hit while in the pool. The stand is sturdy. I actually ordered this hoop by mistake as I was attempting to replace a part... however, my kids love it so much it's now our new rainy day basketball hoop. After expiring/thrashing several lesser mini hoop sets, this one is truly standing the test of twin 9 year old brothers! The Pro Mini Hoop set is taking the pounding and bouncing back for more! Great quality and the glow in the dark feature is just a stone cold game changer for nighttime games with bragging rights on the line. The only issue is how to stop a 9 year old from trash- talking after he beats his `` old man ''! I do n't know what to say, this thing is awesome! I placed it on my door, which is right across from my window so it gets pretty good light all day. If you turn off all the lights and close the shades, it definitely glows, but would be cooler if it were super bright... like even if you could put a few small batteries in it to make it light up, that would be cool. But I love the color and it's cool that i can dunk on it. the hoop just snaps back, so that's cool.
